(11:47) *The real secret behind Benaiah’s strength-his unwavering faith in God! This revelation is so powerful. It’s not about our own might, but trusting in God's power to overcome everything. This video has made me reflect on where my own courage comes from and how I can tap into God's strength. The lesson about identity in God really hit me hard, and I’m definitely taking this one to heart.*

Glory to God indeed! Benaiah's unwavering loyalty is beyond inspiring. This man didn’t seek glory or recognition, but humbly offered himself as a living sacrifice, devoted to God's greater plan. His service to David was a reflection of his deep commitment to God’s eternal purpose. Imagine having that kind of loyalty and selflessness, where your actions aren’t for personal gain but for the fulfillment of God’s will. It’s not just a story; it’s a challenge for us all! How often do we put our own desires aside for a higher calling? May God grant us all the strength and devotion like Benaiah’s, to serve His purpose with a heart full of faith.

And yet, he did not attain to the achievements of the first three, who fought their way through the Phillistine garrison, drew water, fought back through the garrison, without spilling the water, and brought it to David! A powerful lesson is here; the greatest people are often the most unknown!

What glory? It wasn't too many years later that the Kingdom of Israel was utterly destroyed by the Assyrian Empire and the northern 10 Tribes led away into captivity and scattered, never to be heard of again. That was 2,800 years ago.
Then, 2,600 years ago, the Kingdom of Judah was utterly destroyed, along with Solomon's Temple and David's palace, by the Babylonian Empire.

Absolutely! Benaiah is truly a hero behind the scenes, whose life and exploits were all about serving God's greater purpose through his loyalty to King David and King Solomon. He wasn’t looking for recognition or fame, but his actions displayed the power of faithful service. His courage in facing lions, giants, and political turmoil wasn't just about personal bravery, but about glorifying God and supporting His plan. Benaiah’s story reminds us that sometimes the greatest acts of service are the ones done quietly, with a heart dedicated to God’s will. May we all follow his example of humble devotion, serving faithfully wherever God calls us!

These men stood out not only for their physical prowess but for their unwavering commitment to God's plan and their loyalty to King David. They were chosen for their faith, courage, and ability to fight for what was righteous. Benaiah was one of these mighty men, whose exploits show that it wasn’t just their strength, but their deep trust in God that made them powerful. When Jesus is our King all service is in service to Him. When we love one another for His sake, we are fulfilling the first and greatest commandment to "love God with all our heart, mind, and strength". God says "if you love Me you will obey Me" so we can't fulfill the first and greatest commandment without obeying the second greatest that we "love one another as we love ourselves".

Absolutely! When Jesus is our King, every act of service becomes an offering to Him. Loving one another for His sake is the ultimate expression of our love for God. As you rightly said, the first and greatest commandment to "love God with all our heart, mind, and strength" is inseparable from the second greatest commandment, which is to "love one another as we love ourselves." By obeying this second command, we show that our love for God is genuine. True love for God is reflected in how we treat others-our obedience to His command to love others is a powerful testimony of our devotion to Him. May we all live out these commandments with pure hearts, loving both God and our neighbors as Jesus taught us.

Reading the Bible's Old Testament is an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. In those chapters God reveals so much about His ways and the revelations He gave men and women who devoted their entire being to follow Him. Each one had faults yet God's rod and staff developed each one to make the choice to follow God or stray away yet many strayed away from God, but those who followed God defeated odds greater them them.
Not by their own might or strength, but by God's will.
Read the Bible's Old Testament and I assure you, you will find your character within those chapters and you will relate to the mighty men in the pages as well.
Trust God and He will reveal Himself to you in ways He sees fit to build you for your purpose for His honor and glory for God, through Christ Jesus.

I love how you highlighted Benayah's unwavering loyalty to King David, but it does raise a controversial point-what if Benayah had questioned or disagreed with God's plan or David’s rule? Would his story have carried the same weight, or does blind loyalty undermine free will and the human ability to question authority? Could there be more complexity to his character than just pure devotion?

The Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit.
He or She who knows this, has POWER.
These days, just like the ancient days.
The authorised King James Bible of 1611 AD is that Word.
Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.
    Benaiah knew that.
King David too, when he fought against Lions and Bears as a young shepherd boy.
    .....and so do I.
True men of God are lion-faced.
    NOTHING scares them.
Their knowledge of the Word and their life experience joins perfectly.
    =====
I have been with this great God for 40 years.
His Son, Jesus Christ, is my Commander-in-Chief.
I am no Benaiah, no David.
I am what I must be.

Benaiah was king Davids personal body guard, that's why he did not belong to the top 3 warrior of King David.I salute his loyalty and bravery!do we find a man like him in this generation today? I dont think so. God assigned him to protect King David

Folks let us not forget that Faith in God to do miracles must also include faith to obey his commandments. Miracles do not exist without obedience. Not that you will be perfect in keeping His commandments, but you must be trying your very best.

Here is a thing you may not know but if you search it out with prayer and a sincere desire to understand the MostHigh, He will reveal this to you. The MostHigh's Name is sacred to Him. So much so that the third command is to not bring it to nothing. This means if you take His covenant with His Son's sacrifice, you will seek out His Name .

I love how this video highlights the incredible feats of Benaiah, from fighting lions in a pit to facing a giant Egyptian warrior with just a staff. The depth of his courage and faith is truly inspiring. But here's a question for you: what do you think was the source of Benaiah's unwavering strength? Was it his physical abilities, or was there something deeper that empowered him? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Memorize Psalms 91. Don't be lazy or a slacker. Do it. God's Word is voice-activated. You call yourself a prayer warrior? If you haven't memorized Psalms 91, you aren't a prayer warrior, you're just a warrior wannabe!

    2 Samuel 8:18
And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were chief rulers.
