Hi. I am Portuguese and would like to give you some insight. That board looks like the actual city of Oporto in Portugal.
There are soooo many details. It looks amazing! The dragon is the symbol of the local soccer team and it is blue because it is the colour of the team.
The sandwich at the top of one of the buildings is a Francesinha and is a typical dish.
The barrels of Porto wine on the boats...
You could write a book on all the details on that beautiful looking game. I might actually buy the game just for the culture and symbology as I am currently teaching Portuguese in China :D

Thanks João for the insight. Although the Dragon can be literally connected with the Football club, it was originally a symbol of the city (before the club even existed) and appeared in the coat of arms of the city. I explain this in this thread:

@@orlopesdesa It was so funny to read S. João's toy hammer tradition for the first time being described to someone foreign. You don't really appreciate how funny this is until you imagine it as someone from the outside! This game is a great homage to the city of Porto. Muito obrigado! :)

The Dragon is the symbol of F.C. Porto (Porto Football Club), which is one of the main Soccer clubs in Portugal (It is also blue, the color of the team's uniform)

When I saw the gameplay, I thought immediately about 2 games, Walking in Burano and Copenhagen. If you had to choose one of those 3, which one you would choose? And why?

Thx Yannis, I have exact the same problem. I loved mebos arraial and I love the hidden object board for Porto.

@Yannis Guerra do you already know the answer? I have Walking In Burano and I’m not sure if Porto is worth having too or if they are too similar.

I think you should start doing your reviews from the opposite side of the table. Often, your arms and hand blocks a lot of what you are showing. Thanks!

Good luck getting the game here in the US for now. They don't have a distributor here in the US until after Essen then not until 2020. Oh well.

The game looks very nice and easy to play! The board is pretty (and really looks like Porto)
