Hi, I must add one that's become one of my absolute favourites. The Chanel Jumbo Double flap Reissue in black aged calfskin with aged gold hardware. It is so durable, both the leather and the hardware. The strap is the perfect lenght. The leather is so soft, and it can hold so much. Because the hardware is aged gold, you don't have to worry about scratches. The leather holds up so well, no scuffs or scratches. The bag and chain is light weight compared to the Classic Jumbo. The whole bag is very soft so it is very easy to wear, it doesen't stick out too much from your body when you wear it. You also don't have to worry about creasing of the leather because the leather is already "creased" :) "Aged calf". Love it!!

Your description of the Balenciaga Town and Country bags reminds me of how I feel about the Prada Vitello Daino Life bags I have (one in black and one in white). I can fit a great deal of stuff in them and they have a similar shape and size, but even after 10+ years, I still get compliments and they go well with either jeans and a t-shirt or a nice outfit. Pretty versatile and not at all dated.

I would choose LV never full tote MM (white), Prada double tote Small(black and red), LV alma PM epi leather, Chanel CF M/L and Celine Trapeze Small. The Gucci bag I can get it for as much as 50% off (depending the color of course). The square Chanel is pretty but the strape attaches to the side of the bag directly which shows the signs of wearing. Celine bag holds value better than Tory Burch or Marc Jacobs.

+ChristysaysRawrr I think in the US there are waitlists but as far as I know, they don't have them in the UK. SAs tend not to know what's coming in and when so your best bet is to visit frequently and to try and make friends with a SA who might keep an eye out and call you if a particular item comes in. For the classic line, they will get replenishments fairly frequently so I would just ask when they get deliveries and phone soon after that.

I love the le pliage by longchamp, I like how you can fold it. And it's so versatile. I went with the navy and got it for about 110 dollars CA. (Large) For open totes, how are you not worried that someone will stick their hand in your bag to take stuff? or if it rains, won't it went any documents that is inside.? Btw, how do you do your hair? It's so shiny sleek and non-frizzy. My hair is wavy and it gets frizzy
+YellowLittle Ducky I rarely carry documents around with me to be honest - it's more my laptop I worry about getting wet so I usually have a scarf to cover my items in my bag. I've only ever had a wallet stolen from my bag once and that was because I left it right at the top (silly me!). Now I generally have so much stuff with me that even *I* can't find my wallet so it's unlikely that a thief will be able to haha! Plus petty theft is worse in the tourist areas of London which I rarely go to. In terms of hair, I just blow dry it with a round brush. I use Green People shampoo and conditioner which is an organic line and has done wonders for my hair!

+Li Ma If it's your only Chanel, then I would go for the classic flap but I also think it depends on your style. If you're more of an edgy dresser, then maybe a Boy bag might be more suitable? As for sizing, I would probably go for the old medium (it's just called the 'medium' now). HTH! :)

LOVED this video. I was looking at the classic box bag from Celine. It is gorgeous and maybe it can become a classic for its minimal style, do you agree? as for balenciaga, i used to love them when i first saw nicole richie carrying them. longchamp, speedy, chanel mini and jumbo sure are classics and they hold the value for money. I like the soho disco bag but on other girls but not on me…not a fan of "bulky" crossbody bags, i much prefer flat bags… :)

Thanks I see that point. I am very tall, so the strap of the mini is very short on me and I really don't like heavy bags, so the jumbo is not an option for me. Maybe the boy is the right decision for me.
Have you thought about the rectangle mini? The strap is quite a bit longer... The chain on the M/L isn't very long either I find - i think it might be shorter than the mini. The Boy is a great option too though :)
Can I ask you some advice? currently I have my eye on chanel a rectangle mini flap, as i am not really a careful person, I take good care of my bags but never baby them thats why all my chanel bags are caviar leather. somehow its really hard to get any caviar in mini flap in Sydney here, my SA even showed me their orders, mostly are lamb skin or patent. I am still waiting for if there is a caviar come out (may not be the colour i prefer) or should I just go for a lamb skin with any colour I like? TIA!
+vivian hu So I think it depends on how frequently you're going to use it. I've only just started buying lambskin now that I have a few Chanel bags already in my collection. For occasional use I think it's totally fine. I just wouldn't recommend as an everyday bag (which it doesn't sound like it would be for you?). I don't think lamb is as bad as everyone says - a lot of flaws buff right out plus the colours you can get in the lamb are just amazing :)
Thanks for helping me making my mind, i think i will wait for caviar leather or dark colour patent, because I will be using it as a replacement of my most reached WOC, this one tends to fit bit more than the WOC but not as bulky as the boy i suppose.

I've only ever had a wallet stolen from my bag once and that was because I left it right at the top (silly me!). Now I generally have so much stuff with me that even *I* can't find my wallet so it's unlikely that a thief will be able to haha! Plus petty theft is worse in the tourist areas of London which I rarely go to. In terms of hair, I just blow dry it with a round brush. I use Green People shampoo and conditioner which is an organic line and has done wonders for my hair!

I am only 5 feet told, due to this, I think Boy maybe more suitable. In terms of the previous medium version and new version, which would you recommend and in what style and material?
Would you recommend Flap bag over Boy if this is the only Chanel bag I am ever going to own?

+Li Ma If it's your only Chanel, then I would go for the classic flap but I also think it depends on your style. If you're more of an edgy dresser, then maybe a Boy bag might be more suitable? As for sizing, I would probably go for the old medium (it's just called the 'medium' now). HTH! :)

LOVED this video. I was looking at the classic box bag from Celine. It is gorgeous and maybe it can become a classic for its minimal style, do you agree? as for balenciaga, i used to love them when i first saw nicole richie carrying them. longchamp, speedy, chanel mini and jumbo sure are classics and they hold the value for money. I like the soho disco bag but on other girls but not on me…not a fan of "bulky" crossbody bags, i much prefer flat bags… :)

+JU KO Thank you! I just think when you compare it to the mini, you can't fit that much more in a M/L and it's almost double the price! For that much money, I would rather get a jumbo which I think is much better value for money!
Thanks I see that point. I am very tall, so the strap of the mini is very short on me and I really don't like heavy bags, so the jumbo is not an option for me. Maybe the boy is the right decision for me.
Have you thought about the rectangle mini? The strap is quite a bit longer... The chain on the M/L isn't very long either I find - i think it might be shorter than the mini. The Boy is a great option too though :)

Can I ask you some advice? currently I have my eye on chanel a rectangle mini flap, as i am not really a careful person, I take good care of my bags but never baby them thats why all my chanel bags are caviar leather. somehow its really hard to get any caviar in mini flap in Sydney here, my SA even showed me their orders, mostly are lamb skin or patent. I am still waiting for if there is a caviar come out (may not be the colour i prefer) or should I just go for a lamb skin with any colour I like? TIA!
+vivian hu So I think it depends on how frequently you're going to use it. I've only just started buying lambskin now that I have a few Chanel bags already in my collection. For occasional use I think it's totally fine. I just wouldn't recommend as an everyday bag (which it doesn't sound like it would be for you?). I don't think lamb is as bad as everyone says - a lot of flaws buff right out plus the colours you can get in the lamb are just amazing :)
Thanks for helping me making my mind, i think i will wait for caviar leather or dark colour patent, because I will be using it as a replacement of my most reached WOC, this one tends to fit bit more than the WOC but not as bulky as the boy i suppose.
