He has said he has no fear of singing with other people. You can do that when you have the power of Tom's voice. Others shy away from the fear of appearing lacking alongside other singers. Tom also said he loves all genres of music, and that is one of the other reasons he has performed with so many other singers. Elvis considered Tom one of the best singers that he had come across. He would go nearly every night to Tom's shows when he was performing in Las Vegas.

One of the best live shows Janis ever recorded. Her band was in the groove & the chemistry between her & Jones is absolutely smoldering! Her obvious delight is a joy to watch. Kinda like watching Hendrix having so much fun during his Maui show(Rainbow Bridge).

Sir Tom as one of the greatest solo artists of all time had his own show and sang with the most famous singers of the day so there's a chance he's sang with a lot of your favourite singers. He was(and is) so versatile

Tom Jones had his own variety TV show for 3 seasons from 1969-71, and often had two or three musicians or groups every week. There must be lots of videos with him singing with them.

Love your reactions. I teared up too. Have you guys ever played the Smiths? The greatest band of the eighties out of England. Would love to hear you play Everyday Is Like Sunday or There Is a Light That Never Goes Out. Morrissey is a lyrical genius and Johnny Marr the guitarist will also blow your mind.

That was fun. If you want the fun to continue, please watch Tom Jones with Hugh Laurie (the lead in the TV show "House") in New Orleans. Fantastic. And the venue is also special -- how many lunches I've had at Napoleon House. Life is good.

YES YES YES YES YES! That New Orleans special is awesome. Love Hugh's playing and Tom gives a little foreword to the session he's in, explaining how he loves all types of music. And then... he sings! Oh, gosh... so much soul. So good. So GOOD!

You hit the nail on the head. I grew up with the music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. That was real music that nothing currently matches. It was the best time in history for Music and you still have so much to experience. I wish you younger people could truly know what it was like back then. Good job guys.

his show was a lot of fun, he sang with so many people, this duet was my favorite. He sang a duet with Ella Fitzgerald one of the greatest blues/jazz singers. The duet is with her when she was older and she had diabetic issues which is probably why they are sitting. I was so fortunate to see her 2 years before she passed. She still could sing.

Tom Jones and Tina Turner were Janis's favorites, I read that in an interview of hers years ago. By the way, I watched this the night it first aired. I was a little hippy-dippy fourteen-year-old and a total Janis freak LOL. Great job as always. I shouldn't use the word job because your reactions are real

Tom Jones had a summer variety show. We would go to my aunt's house because our moms were in love with Tom. It was every week and Tom had the best entertainers on his show!
