Hi Ken. The song, Vocalize or Ascolta la Voce was written by russian composer and music oligark Igor Krutoy for Lara Fabian. For Dimash russian lyrics was added and the title changed to Know/ Znaj. At his soloconcerts Dimash usually do the lyricless version and I love every one of them as they allow him to improvise. There are several clips of the version with lyrics and when so it is Igor Krutoy at the grand piano. Yes a different level of pianist. Dimash have studied both classic/bel canto and contemporary singing but also jazz wich you can hear in some versions of this song. He is currently studying for a PhD in musicology. Glad you will do more of his songs. He deserves to be more known. You should check out Across Endless Dimensions wich is an OST of a recently released italian Sci-Fi movie staarring William Shatner. What explains Dimash him, he has musicians and Instrumentalist in his family, he received some talent naturally, he started matching his voice to the piano keys his grandma presses as a toddler and was pitch perfect, he was the youngest ever admitted to his music school at age 5, so he has worked very hard to tune his instrument, another gift he was given was abnormally long vocal folds, I think that has a lot to do range wise. I count any note he has performed starting with the growl G0-D8 ending with the dolphin pitch the D8, I have heard that he actually hit an E8 there but we could not hear it so I will go along with the proven heard and tested D8. There is so much warmth in Dimash's voice, like in no one else. Maybe in Michael's as well. (We all know which Michael). It changes everything. Honestly, I tried to repeat after you and Dimash, but I failed, it sounded terrible 😆😆 As I remember, Dimash already demonstrated his Growling technique when he sang "Drunken concubine + diva dance" in a duet with Chinese opera singer Li Yugang. At that time Dimash sang in a more western style, and the Chinese singer in a more eastern style, an unusual duet turned out. I love your professional vocal analysis 👍👍

Dimash by his vocal shows to everyone that bel canto training can give us some special abilities. His vocal range and colorature abilities, intonation accuracy are close to superhuman. What's more, his technique in vocals is unique and so awesome. I can't even find words to describe true beauty of him.

Ken, no one should be hating onnyou for anything. You are here to give us your honest opinion and I do appreciate you for this. I am a Dimash fan but I also like hearing different perceptions or terms about what he is doing. You explain it simply for someone like me who does not know basic singing. I just appreciate his unique ability that no other really has done. He literally is the song on stage. Pure art and you know he loves what he does! He is the only one that really falls to his knees if he feels the song needs it. He is truly gifted beyond what is normal.

Ken, no one should be hating onnyou for anything. You are here to give us your honest opinion and I do appreciate you for this. I am a Dimash fan but I also like hearing different perceptions or terms about what he is doing. You explain it simply for someone like me who does not know basic singing. I just appreciate his unique ability that no other really has done. He literally is the song on stage. Pure art and you know he loves what he does! He is the only one that really falls to his knees if he feels the song needs it. He is truly gifted beyond what is normal.
