“Arrogant, narcissistic.” Michael Moore Slams Biden For Staying in Race

  • On last week’s episode of ‘Mehdi Unfiltered,’ acclaimed filmmaker Michael Moore joined Mehdi for a conversation about Biden’s fitness for office. Moore added his name to a growing number of Hollywood stars calling for the president’s resignation after his “heartbreaking” CNN debate with Donald Trump.
Biden’s refusal to step down amid mounting pressure from Democrats, Moore said, was “Trumpian behavior.”
The two also spoke about Israeli president Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming speech to Congress. Moore, who has spoken out about Gaza, said Biden’s role in the war could cost him young votes in November.

Um no, his idealizations of biden were grossly exaggerated...sure he was more progressive than any president but thats not necessarily because he cares about the issue, he does it because he wants to garner votes from that group.

Joe Biden is not progressive. He did very little on the minimum wage. If you couldn't get $15, what about $11. He very happily gave it up. Whatever happened to the public option in health insurance? Then there's his work on climate change, drill baby drill. The US has never produced more oil. His plan for Medicare is to force all of us to report to a private insurer by 2030. He
s one of a very few Democrats who would veto "Medicare for all" if a bill got to his desk.

I am finding that whatever constructive point I politely raise on left leaning social media sites that merely questions whether Biden is the best candidate going forward, is immediately jumped upon by a vociferous and actually quite disparaging Pro-Biden crowd. That is, if it isn't removed first. It seems pretty clear that Trump wants to Biden to continue and yet somehow, I'm a 'bot' or a 'troll' for having the temerity to offer a different perspective. It's like we're heading towards "Dear Leader" territory on the blue side, which aligns with Mehdi's 'Blue Maga' observation. Is it just me? I'm beginning to feel as if there's some orchestrated Russian bot campaign, flooding the zone with Pro-Biden sentiment, as a Trump victory is very much in their interests.

When Biden refused to receive Netanyahu at the WH it wasn’t because he is comitting a genocide but because he was still dreaming to have muslim american votes. Biden is a butcher just like Netanyahu and he ´s not better than Trump. So pkease, stop sugarcoating this man.

It wasn't that he had a "bad day" or "was tired" or jetlagged, it was that his brain is starting to shut down for periods as he ages and it only accelerates going forward...saw my mother go through that in her final years. Fortunately, she wasn't the leader of the free world but the bad news is that Biden supposedly is. My question: who's really in charge? Cause another thing I learned from watching Mom grow old was how easy it is to manipulate people in that state of mind. Mom tended to be in agreement with whomever she last spoke to.

Michael is right, it was heartbreaking to see Joe in his current state. It shows how blind, calus and self serving Joe's inner circle is that they allowed him to go onto that stage in his current state. No one who cares about Joe or winning the election and is thinking clearly would have encouraged / advised him to run or allowed him to debate. Just like when my mom, who was suffering with dementia, argued with me that she was fine and didn't need to move in with me and my wife, Joe isn't capable of seeing his own frailty and faults any longer.
