He just means that you can't have a spirit and culture that wants to help and include..Include people who don't want to be helped or included, because they are brought up by snakes who are just viscous, resentful and full of hate ,not unlike the ignorant mobs that form out of angry individuals looking to blast out their hate and cowardly direct it to what ever successful minority may be crossing their way
I am an Iranian dissident now living in the west and I could not agree more. I would say this is a regional malady. Why don’t Islamic countries prosper? There are 57 Muslim majority countries in the world.
As long as one is a human being he/she has the brains to do constructive things...... irrespective of the "religion" he belongs to. If however one follows his religion without asking pointed questions and just expects his "god" to help him.....then there is no hope.

@@stabsfeldwebela4178 He didn't. The Jews were not considered barbarians. They were considered a threat to "Germanness", precisely because they were able to assimilate into the european cultures. In Hitlers eyes you could have one culture only and that culture was determined biologically. Therefore somebody like Einstein who was the most brilliant German scientist as well as a co-founder of Hebrew University in Jerusalem was an abomination for Hitler. the danger to liberalism is too much liberalism- and in current western liberal society to even entertain the idea that there are cultures with incompatible values, or god forbid, detrimental values auto-designates you as the worst evil. I've said similarly: I've met Afghanis whom I quite like, but as a generality, I don't want Afghanis living near me or even in the USA or Europe since a big part of their culture seems to result in things like the Taliban, subjugation of women, and life like some kind of Barbary States fever dream. The US can spend decades and untold fortunes and effort trying to "westernize" only to find out that "no, we quite like our tribes and Jezails"
That's the whole problem with those within Western nations who constantly agitate for the destruction of Western Institutions and view anyone who is anti-Western as an ally. They naively assume that all people share our core values and have no notion of the barbarism and savagery which may lurk in the hearts of those who reject Western traditions.

It's important to understand mindsets within Israel and this narrator is an excellent communicator of Israel's modus operandi past present and future. That knowledge is very valuable, and the fact that the interview lasted for over an hour was also laudable because it gave the speaker more scope to explain his perspective. All in all, extremely enlightening.

What specific aspects of Dan Schueftan's background or expertise do you think have shaped his understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? Are there particular experiences or areas of study that you believe have been most influential in his analysis?
Sounds like experience in rhetorics and if he knows something about human nature he uses it to manipulate. One thing out of two he says is questionable, and I'm being generous, but it just makes sense if you have aleready accepted his point if view and don't question a thing.
I've heard people talk like a hood rat and articulate insightful and complex things. I've also heard people with a slow and thoughtful delivery speak pure nonsense. The ideas are the important part anyways. The style of delivery, is just a learned aesthetic. But I also agree that usually, we can tell when a person sounds thoughtful. I wouldn't rely on it as a rule, or even a useful generalization. Brilliant people can and are very often, misled. There wouldn't be so many brilliant people in different religions if intelligence always led to the same conclusions.

Why don't people ask themselves more often: Who is the constructive, pro-social party in this fight? And WHY should we wring our hands over the plight of those who won't take the first steps towards a constructive existence?
@abbotsful You're not wrong that, if we are not to bring about more harm, we must stay focused. But you twist my words, very dishonestly, by pretending that "those who won't take the first steps towards a constructive existence" are children. Obviously not. The children are not responsible for anything. They are under the care, or the reckless neglect, of their parents, grandparents, great-grandparents--who have, as a collective, DONE WHAT exactly that you find constructive, pro-social, nurturing, civilizing, eirenic, or in any other way deserving of sympathy or support?
Palestinians are very loving parents, how many time have you stopped eating for a few days in order for your children to at least have something to eat.How many time have you risk your life to save your children by covering them up with your body to protect them from shrapnel? Except that there was no such thing, no behead babies, no babies burnt in ovens, no tortured children, no children strung up on washing lines, as has been admitted now by Israeli authorities. Also the allegations of mass rape is completely unfounded, there may have been one or two but there is no corroborating evidence, only a small number of witnesses alleged that from hundreds of witnesses, e.g. one witness who said he saw a rape was hiding in bushes with a group of people and none of the others who were with him confirmed that. This is also available from Israeli media. One glaring omission from the first responders and whoever dealt with the bodies was the complete lack of collection of forensic evidence for any of the re sexual violence, which is a dereliction of duty for any potential victims, DNA evidence is of course vital for genuine victims to have justice!

Well, you're thinking about the Israel of yesterday. Today, it no longer is in the entrepreneurial stage, led by intellgent people with a public purpose. It has now become like the U.S., led by low-intellect ego addicts, looking to get their fix.

What specific qualities or attributes do you believe make individuals like Dan Schueftan valuable contributors to discussions about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, even in light of remarks that some might find inflammatory or racist? How do you perceive his expertise as contributing to your understanding of the conflict?
@@Firguy_the_Foot_Fetishist Any conflict requires clarity especially moral clarity. Why one is fighting? What one is fighting for? So one should have a clear purpose for a war/battle/conflict. Look at the US/British/Western interventions in the last 25 years. Afghanistan, Serbia, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Ukraine, Libya. There is no clarity in western countries as to what they are fighting for? Are they trying to change the culture, politics of the enemy nation, like they did in WW 2 with Japan and Germany? No they didn’t do this. They had no such plans? There is no ideological or moral clarity. All these wars were moral quagmires and ended up as quagmires on the battlefield as well. From defeating the enemy to becoming champions of girls education and building sewerage systems. All these wars were mired in confusion. What this gentleman-if he has any any say on the Israel side- is this clarity- Don’t take any pressure from any side- UN (where murderous dictators and democracies sit side by side as equals) don’t listen to UN. Nothing matters more than the safety and security of Israel citizens. He is open to dialogue and gives plenty of reaching out to the Palestrina side over the past decades, all to no avail. One has to believe in the side he is fighting for. That matters as much as the arms and ammunitions. Look at the Islamic Jihadis. This rag tag army of religious zealots who don’t have any major ammunition to fight with and yet have brought the whole world to its knees. They believe in their project. They can hijack your aeroplanes and knock your skyscrapers with the same. That’s the clearest example of belief in action. If there is any doubt you will give ground to the enemy. Also do have a look at the western intellectuals in press, on TV , in acedemia- the liberals are eager to shed tears for the Palestinian side- which in itself is not wrong - but few care to note that it is always the Palestinian side that initiates violence, who start the killings. When Israel responds, the Palestinians show their wounds wanting aid, food and sympathy. This is depravity. The gentleman sees through this.
@@avineishghai Do you think there might be differing perspectives on the sequence of events and responsibility for violence within the conflict? How does one's background or beliefs influence their interpretation of these actions?
@@Firguy_the_Foot_Fetishist 30000 people buried under the rubble on Gaza side don’t have a perspective, they are experiencing reality first hand. Similarly thousands of rockets fired on the Israeli civilians defines their reality - it is immaterial what perspective rest of the world including UN, you and I have sitting far away. Violence has to be dealt with first hand by hiding, attacking , running away and occasionally by wanting to have a dialogue and negotiation. BBC gave their perspective when a rocket fell on the Al Shifa hospital- without any means of knowing. Newspaper editors write about their perspective depending upon on whether they are from left or right of the political spectrum. Similarly with the hundreds of TV war reporters and in the digital media. If you and I have a fight we would both know who initiated violence and we can end it if we choose to or take it to the conclusion where one of us is not able to fight anymore. Situation with nations warring is not much different. Rest of the world has no business meddling here. Lot of people have sympathy for the weaker side but that doesn’t mean weaker side is the right side. The warring sides will stop when they have had enough. If we can’t persuade them to end it, let them see the consequences of their actions.

The reason for this is not Israel. The weakness of the countries of the region is the reason. How can you allow yourself to widen this scientific and military gap between you and the West to this point over the past 150 years? We know the West well, and our history with them is as long as , Russia , East Asia and the rest When you become weak, they will annihilate you en masse, exploit you in the worst way, and plant Israel and its brothers among you. The so-called Israel is not to blame for anything. They are just a tool that carries out what is dictated to them. The question is where are we? If the truth got out to a wide enough audience, the blood of tens of thousands would run like rivers in the streets. And it would be glorious. But to the cowardly supporters of the status quo and the oligarchs that determine the nature of the international Zeitgeist, it would be the Apocalypse. I think the slaves of this world have been trained to fear their victory more than anything else. They believe being obedient and eschewing their own collective interests in favor of the interests of the oligarchs makes them good people.
I agree. But what is "truth?" That, my friend, is the rub. From my perspective, God is Truth. God is also Life, Love, and eternal good. God is a wholesome, balanced, and sustainable Mother Nature. But mankind has dug a deep, dark, dank hole and leaped into it head first. The world conflicts now in operation are just an offshoot of man's dereliction of his duties as a created being to uphold peace, love, and harmony. So, back to your statement. You're right, the world can't handle the truth. But when and where do we start to clearly define and reflect "truth?" Has there ever in the history of man been an international meeting of nations to define truth as a principle to live with, by, and for? NO! And that is the rub.
@garybarr1045 every individual has a desire to live by the truth. That's why there's a term, called "cognitive dissonance," which was coined to describe the uneasiness one feels when he holds conflicting opinions. The notion of truth being undefined isn't the problem. The notion of believing that one's version of the truth is correct, in the face of counterveiling evidence, which we call "bias," is the problem. It is exacerbated by our tribalism, which causes us to feel comfort when in the presence of like-minded people. This is the call for homogeneity among groups and why western thought, incorporating the idea of diversity, was such a departure from tribalism, but it still required a connective tissue in the form of ideology. While the world is still full of conflict, the expanse of peace has been building for thousands of years. I share your yearning for a peaceful life for all, but I think we disagree about where we are and the trajectory from here.
Dan Schueftan's views on maintaining a Jewish majority in Israel through separation from Palestinians share similarities with Nazi ideology in terms of exclusion and preserving dominance. Both focus on safeguarding a group's purity and control by marginalizing others. The Nazis aimed for a racially pure Aryan state by excluding minorities, while Schueftan advocates separating Jewish Israelis from Palestinians to maintain demographic control. Both approaches emphasize territorial and demographic segregation to protect the dominant group's identity, leading to the marginalization of the other population, reflecting similar principles of division and exclusion.

The greatest geopolitical interview I have ever watched and really listened to. I could not disagree with one word he said. I also found it strangely enjoyable - considering that he was talking about such a sad period of our history.
Only an uninformed weak minded person would say that a genocide is occurring in gaza . And it can be proven to be false with evidence . But everything about the so called" Palestinians" is based on lies and a false premise. But lies and propaganda will never change the facts or the history of this region. The irony is that the "Palestinians " are just pawns to be sacrificed by the radical religious islamic regime in iran. The arab world doesn't care about these Gazans or the fanatics in judea and sumaria . They hate Israel more than love their own people.
@@GassingsNeverAppened Genocide requires an intent to eradicate a people partly or totally which seems kinda absurd to put that on Israel, when they have allowed 2 million arabs most of them from Palestine to live in their country and the number has grown for several decades and they announce were they are gonna attack. @magal55 What's the purpose of a white Jewish settler project from the river to the sea? Biden believes Israel becomes an unsinkable US aircraft carrier for the US. Why do ordinary Jews want that? Evangelical believes that Jews should go there and later get converted to Christianity. Why should Jews want that? The Arabs who had been expelled from the River and Sea will find a way to return. They believe they can return by 2048 (after 100 years in exile) because Jews returned after 2000 years of exile. Why should Jews want to stay there. Golda Meir said Jews have nowhere to go. I thought Adolf had a stronger take on who was stupid and who was barbarians.
@@stabsfeldwebela4178 ????? Whose “Adolf”?
@@stabsfeldwebela4178 He didn't. The Jews were not considered barbarians. They were considered a threat to "Germanness", precisely because they were able to assimilate into the european cultures. In Hitlers eyes you could have one culture only and that culture was determined biologically. Therefore somebody like Einstein who was the most brilliant German scientist as well as a co-founder of Hebrew University in Jerusalem was an abomination for Hitler. If the Jews would have been simple barbarians, the Nazis would have had no issues with them. After all, they were barabrians themselves and wanted to go back to what they thought of as "the germanic way of life". (A complete and utter product of fantasy of course.)

“We failed because we believed that they come from the same value universe we come from.” So true
This is exactly the problem of the left, believing we are all the same. But we aren’t.
the danger to liberalism is too much liberalism- and in current western liberal society to even entertain the idea that there are cultures with incompatible values, or god forbid, detrimental values auto-designates you as the worst evil.
I've said similarly: I've met Afghanis whom I quite like, but as a generality, I don't want Afghanis living near me or even in the USA or Europe since a big part of their culture seems to result in things like the Taliban, subjugation of women, and life like some kind of Barbary States fever dream. It's important to understand mindsets within Israel and this narrator is an excellent communicator of Israel's modus operandi past present and future. Yes. Should be obvious but…
Except that there was no such thing, no behead babies, no babies burnt in ovens, no tortured children, no children strung up on washing lines, as has been admitted now by Israeli authorities.

I would say - as dangerous as missiles.

We know the West well, and our history with them is as long as , Russia , East Asia and the rest

The so-called Israel is not to blame for anything. They are just a tool that carries out what is dictated to them.
The question is where are we?
A country like Egypt can completely change the region in all aspects (culturally - scientifically - strategically).
When Egypt falls ill, the entire Middle East becomes worthless
We are the ones who blame ourselves for our weakness.
The enemy, in any case, has a well-known history and has neither humanity nor mercy.

What truth. All Nazis are liars
Wow! The world need more people like him. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

“I don’t want to be contaminated by controlling them.” That is a perfect statement.
Indeed
One of many he made.
@@everythingandmore5537 do you see a reflection when you look in the mirror?
@flightographist When Israeli Jews look into the mirror, they see German Nazis. When the Palestinians see in a mirror they see native Americans like the Appaches.
This guy is spot on. I totalt agree with him and are sick and tired of others refusing to see the reality.
What a pleasure listening to Mr. Schueftan's expertise. He calls it just like it is and doesn't BS around because we can't or we're done.
Dr. Schueftan has nailed the situation to a tee. 💯
I don’t think so! He’s full of BS! It’s easy to say that they should have accepted a partition plan that gave to new comers (a minority of the population) who landed from the boat within the past 15-20 years, majority of the land. Imagine if the migrants landing on Italian shores in the last 10 years demanded a partition to establish their own state in Italy? Will Italians reject it? Of course! …… Utter rubbish spout by this man! Palestinians live under martial laws and that drives them nuts, as you would . Israel made itself clear that it doesn’t intended to cease control because it wants to confiscate their land.
Scheuftan… is that some Native MiddleEastern name.
No, it's the name of "a white European, colonizer oppressor"...that is what you're getting at isn't it? Such woke bullsh*t!
Yes it is because he lives there .@@keksi6844

Impress by Mr. Schueftan's grasp of the situation and prescription for dealing, realistically, with it.
Sir you are not arrogant. You are consummate and totally savvy.. 🏆
Bravo!!!! Of course he is NOT arrogant and he is NOT aggressive. He is simply.......NORMAL!
And a good man methinks
Why do you feel Schueftan's insight into the situation is accurate, despite the controversial nature of it? What specific qualities or aspects of his analysis do you find particularly compelling or convincing?
Dr Shueftan is intelligent and wise beyond belief. He has the that rare ability to distill his arguments and perspectives into easy to understand bites. Amazing indeed...
The greatest geopolitical interview I have ever watched and really listened to. I could not disagree with one word he said. I also found it strangely enjoyable - considering that he was talking about such a sad period of our history.
What a brave, cool-headed intellectual.
You like listening him talk about jenna-siding millions of Palestinians? Are you sure you're okay?
I´m not supporting Netanyahu or his government, but throwing that term around isn´t gonna help anyone.

Finally a guy don't beat around the bushes. Kudos Dan Schueftan.
Yeah, an out & out Zionist racist, cruel and murderous.
I admire his ability to accept this very difficult situation for Israel as a matter of fact and be positive, confident and constructive about the future.
The best interview on the topic I’ve seen!
A bomb on a floating condom is a firework. What are the zionists using?
This is how we have lived in Israel for decades.. and also nowadays.. prospering between the wars. Israel are one of the top countries on the positivity scale.. and Dan knows how to express it perfectly in words
Another thing is that we say we want peace because we are educated for peace, but after October 7th people realized that there is a big gap between their desire and the reality
He wants to stay in Israel as he feels he will be unwelcome now in 2024, even in Georgetown University. This shows how low israels are standing in the world.
Israel used to be confronted by 5 or more armies of the Arab nations. Today Israel is confronted only by the terrorist groups and only 1 country - Iran, which even does not have the common border with Israel. So, the situation is not that bad...
Well, white South africans said the same thing. Now whites and blacks stay together in a free South africa. The same can happen in a free Palestine/Israel.
This man speaks the truth, uncomfortable though it is. Different mentality that will not change.
He says culture not mentality 😊 and also thinks it, maybe one day, can change 🙃
Amazing interview, I can't wait for the next one.
I’m American and I love this guy! He’s right
What a great guy! Every sentence a slam dunk and what a sense of humor! I wish more of our politicians and elites here in Europe would live in the real world like he does.
Pim Fortuyn was practical, and right on the money regarding Europe bringing in all the immigrants from Islamic cultures.
I thought he was right on, and Europe should have listened to him.
Unfortunately, he paid the price for speaking out.

The Thomas Sowell of Isreal, that's high praise! I don't disagree, but I'd need to see more to full-on agree.
I love his perspective. As an American, he is spot on with us asking for their "end game".
Brilliant man, everyone please listen to this video, he should be in power but is smart enough to stay out of politics and help to change the Middle East for the better through his lectures and his life towards people who actually hear him out.
LEAVE THE WEST BANK
@@colincolincolinsheaYou mis-named that area. It was called West Bank when Jordan occupied it. Its true name is Judea and Samaria. The homelands of the Jews and Samaritans. They were there before the Arabs who are from Arabia. They preceded the aggressive conquering religion of the Arabs by centuries. Islam is all about taking over the whole world by any means ie conquest, lies, and demographic change and political intrigue.
