    i remember when in old battlefields we encountered a tank it was like " oh shit theres a tank mates we need some engineers here cooperating to take it down" now its like " yay free kills" so ez to take out vehicles in this one no wonder all of them are just sniping from afar instead of taking points cuz they get destroyed in seconds.

      I feel like vehicles are also not very team oriented in bf2042. Now they repair automatically and have infinite ammo, they feel pretty stoopid

      It's mainly because there are so many blind spots for gunners, and you can't shoot them when they're so close. Half the time, the driver lacks awareness. Literally EVERYONE rushes tanks because it's so easy with the terrible tank mobility/controls and crazy character movement.

      It's not even skill needed, that 6x sight is unusable. Not sure what the heck the missile going haywire is, think it catches some invisible thing and goes crazy loopy.

    to correct a mistake you made in the video you said lis will benefit from the new engineer changes for more rockets but she doesnt because she doesnt get access to the recoilless and rpg

      Which is sad because she's the one that most needs that extra rocket. Both those launchers already had enough ammo ammo that Boris could solo-kill an MBT from the sides or rear, and Crawford can do it even from the front, but Liz replenishes her rockets so slow that she ends up just edging the tank all round unless there's another source of damage or the tanker screws up.
      If their issue is that Engineers have trouble keeping rockets stocked, then they should just rollback their ammobox nerfs, or make the rockets less appealing to use against infantry. It doesn't matter how many rockets an Engineer can carry if they take forever and a day to resupply after being used.

      Lizs rockets are not meant to solo kill ground armor.
      It would be way too OP that you can TV guide a missile, have a 2 shot kill AND a 450m range all in one
      Lizs missiles are meant for anti air - since normal AA launcher is completely useless

      @@mitjapodbregar6398 What 2-shot kill? It takes 5 Liz missiles to kill an MBT regardless of how you hit it, and that's assuming it doesn't get a chance to heal _at all_ during that time. Meanwhile, the MBT in question can pop their quick-repair 2, almost 3, times for every missile Liz replenishes. The only things you're killing in 2 shots are helicopters and light transports, everythign else is going to take upwards of 4 rockets, with the gunships and MAV taking 7 or more.
      As things stand, Liz is only good for stealing other people's vehicle kills. She's not even good at AA because they lack mobility and everything except jets take 2 rockets to kill, and jets will outrun your rockets unless you decide to joust with them while they're doing a strafing run, you might as well be using the M5 or RPG-7. She used to be able to supplement her lacking firepower by using the AT underbarrel grenades, but those got nerfed into the ground, meanwhile the AT throwable grenade and her missiles _still_ manage to phase through or bounce off vehicles with frustrating regularity.

      The goal isn’t realism, it’s a combination of well designed systems that come together to make fun gameplay loops.
      Hidden mines blowing up vehicles with little to no counter isn’t a good loop.

      agree, if you're a vehicle player you should already be careful entering areas that are known choke points at full speed.
      They already make laying mines take forever, and with a time activation delay.
      This is a big nerf for no good reason.

    MCS-880 is so damn fun, T1 it in redacted last season,
    Its my go to gun when my aim feels like crap,
    Im so used to aiming with shotguns, im actually getting worse with full auto weapons (ARs SMGs thats stuff)

      They canceled content but will continue to introduce skins „worth“ of hundreds of euros.
      20$ dlc got us 4maps new vehicles, a theme, skins, eastereggs, 10+ guns etc now its 3weapon skins and the same fkn operator skin in a slightly darker blue…

      They haven't even fixed the scope magnification glitch after using a gadget that the sniper rifles have except for the gol magnum which was the only portal sniper introduced in the main game

      They've been adding Portal weapons to the 2042 line-up, it's just they unified the attachment systems and made the distinction lose all meaning. In fact, all the weapons this season are based on Portal weapons.
      That said, I would have liked to see _all_ the Portal weapons come to the 2042 loadout screen.

    The issue with the ak5c on high power is 25 damage head shots would only up the total damage to 97 now that it gets that buff to 26 damage head shots will make it a 4 bulit to kill after the update.

    I haven't heard anyone I've played with having this issue, maybe it's restricted to the xbox platform but does anyone else experiencing the issue when you get kills with the underbarrel AP grenades the game always register the kills as TERMINATED instead of highlighting them as your kills?

    I think the type 88 is a B tier LMG since Has pre decent accuracy from my end Or it may be it's because I can get pretty good with bad weapons But for me, I like it cause the Cover grip reduces vertical recoil paired along with either the tactical compensator or arcom tactical muzzle brake it turns into a beam but it really lacks in damage

    can someone explain why are accuracy and recoil a separate mechanic? shoudnt your control over recoil make you fire the weapon more accurately?

      They're separate mechanics so SMGs can't just hose bullets across the map to beam down snipers, and to force snipers to slow down so _they_ can't just insta-gib an entire squad using a DMR. "Accuracy" refers to the spread of the gun, more accurate means your bullets are more likely to go exactly where you're pointing them, while "recoil" is how far your point of aim gets kicked around with each shot.

      @@nikola5413 Your first couple bullets do go exactly where they're aimed, but firing too quickly or in long bursts causes accuracy to decrease, you need to give it a moment to resettle between shots if you want to retain precision accuracy. Alternatively, you can keep your fire rate below 600 and you'll not need to worry about the spread increase mechanic.
      Another thing that may be impacting your accuracy is your choice of ammo and attachments, if you do something like pair Close Combat rounds with a Warhawk compensator then you're going to be suffering a noticeable penalty to base accuracy, while pairing High Power rounds with a Tactical compensator can turn even an SMG into a passable DMR.
      Other than that, some of the sights _are_ misaligned with certain skins, while others are just hard to read or too obstructive to be practical.

      @@GremlinSciences wouldnt it be better to remove the "accuracy" mechanic, meaning bullets are always going to go exactly where the crosshair is pointing(no rng) and increase "recoil" (crosshair position change) (per weapon type, fire rate, and some attachments) to significantly increase the need to control it manually, while also adding some visual recoil as a deterrent to holding down and hosing? i think that would be better, and people wouldnt need to complain for missing shots, because it wouldnt be down to the rng rather down to how they control the recoil manually. and because of the visual recoil it would also inrease the need to predict where the target is going to move since that will become harder to see.

      @@nikola5413 That works for small maps, but PC players end up being able to tame even the most ungodly of recoil patterns for use at unreasonably long range, and the ones that can't just mob and harass the devs until the recoil is made more manageable. CoD got away with no spread and moderate recoil for a while, but they also kept to tiny maps and still had people complaining about getting one-tapped on the longer sightlines, and they ultimately ended up having to add a spread mechanic anyway after they shifted to larger maps.
      Spread and "accuracy" only really come into play at longer ranges. At short range, the spread isn't going to do much to your accuracy even if you're magdumping, but it forces players to pace their shots at longer ranges and encourages them to use an appropriate weapon for the range; the high spread of an SMG isn't going to hinder them at all in the short-medium range they're intended to be used at but makes them unreliable at long range even in controlled bursts, while assault rifles can reach out further because of their lower spread but still aren't as reliable at long range as a DMR or sniper rifle. If you tried to shift the burden of that balance onto recoil, SMGs would have a hard time tracking targets at close range, and assault rifles would become defacto DMRs by micro-bursting.

    This is unrelated to anything you mentioned, but I'm looking at the crosshair of your Masterkey and it has be deathly curious. Can you shoot that at a blank wall and check the pellet distribution? That spread looks to be _significantly_ tighter than what I'm seeing on Xbox. I know you're using a wider FoV, but when you're aiming down that stairwell you end up with the enemy completely filling the crosshair, while the same setup on Xbox has the enemy barely filling half the crosshair.
    If you shoot that at the wall and find that all the pellets are landing inside that circle, then PC players have no room to be complaining about console aim assist. Though, it might also be that Dice just screwed up the math on the spread calculations, in which case I have to wonder if the same might be the case for recoil and other angular calculations as well. Imagine if it turns out that PC players think console has OP aim assist because their own high FoV is amplifying the effect.

    It is great to have the crosshair bug fixed on vehicles...that's been horrible. Also making mines more visible is long over due change! The mines in this game are so op it's ridiculous. So very very welcome change there. Now if they'd still make the change that the mines would disappear once you die that would be nice.

    Season 7 is the last season of BF 2042, they will continue to support the game with new challenges and maintenance fixes but that will be it.

    I think there is no need to increase rocket count at all. I play most of the time Crawford with RPG and AT grenade and that is sufficient. Now with the higher rocket count it wont require any skill to kill a vehicle and therefore we will get back to the vehicles camping on the side of the map, instead going for the objective. When there will be 2 crawfords with rpg u have 0 chance to survive even if they both missed one rocket. But hey, at least i will get more wehicle kills. (i already have T1 with C4, Recioless and RPG so i know what iam talking about)

    they need to nerf engineers. When i take tank or helicopter in Breakthrough enemy team will just pick 16 engineers (not exaggerating) and rpg spam me.

    I played two dozen games of Breakthrough this weekend. Every round there were tanks had one of them going 50+ kills, zero deaths. Mines were the only thing that would get these guys. This game had devolved to being a shooting gallery for vehicle operators. I remember you once whining in defense of aircraft getting buffed. You said that it would only allow the aircraft to go after vehicles more aggressively and not individual infantry. I had to laugh because when I watch your videos, I see you flying around endlessly shooting at single infantry.

    Why i should use others engineer and dont use lis tv? I can literally 1 shot every single air and ground vehicle from my spawn behind a cover in safe zone..they can buff engineers all day long but until they dont remove Lis tv those buff have no impact

    I understand you might need some ideas for content creation considering battlefield might be "dead" for a little until the new one comes out. Maybe cover some of the changes that Pubg does when they switch to unreal engine sometime this year? Just an idea, keep it up!

    Honestly i hate the dispersion, its ridiculous to make the guns so inaccurate, if they want to make the guns harder to use they should make the recoil more aggressive not the bullet spread.

    Booooo on mine changes. One of the more difficult weapons to get kills with as an engineer. As you don't get an alert if they get destroyed. And maps are so big, there aren't the typical chokepoints for vehicles where mines excel.
    I would give up my sidearm and/or a grenade slot to carry 6 mines.

      love the portal, special set up game with the rubber band on the ps4 controller, just me against 60 or so AI, fry them with an incendiary weapon on a vehicle, few hours later around 6k kills, and season 7 will be done today, HI5

      It may be because they can't be "spotted" like in BF4, and Casper's drone got nerfed. That, and many drivers don't have anything to take them out.

      @@vfxswagg1337 dude, you can spot them as the driver, you absolutely CAN spot them like any other, find one and hit Q or whatever your console controller button is for spotting.
      Hell, pull out a SOLFAM, it spots them.
      they have a blinky light on top of them, and they show up in any thermal sight.
      making them stick out like a sore thumb is just going to ruin using them now.

      @CapStar362 They may show on the map or something, but I know back on BF4, they used to show an orange X over a O kind of shape live in the game. I've never seen that when I spot them and I often won't if the driver even sees anything when I spot them, so I just shoot my useless gun at them until he eventually just runs over it anyways.

    Weapons seem little off even Sniper is not working intend like it should my concerted is delay killing someone that's insanity why not on point on killing someone even some smg Assault rifles some bit off as well 😳 and the gaming not loading up correctly 🙄 that seem off as well ? Game need rework and fix some of these types of issues not able found EA services with Application is need rework as well .

    craymores suck, hate that the drone guy cant use the drone ability anymore on vehicles.I wanted him to get buffed like imagine the drone guy can drop a grenade from his drone like they do in Ukraine russia war that would be so cool.

      @killamunster555 I still like Casper, his drone is useful for area surveillance, for example if you're trying to cap a flag, pop the drone while capturing, do a 360 view of the area to see if anyone is coming so u can be prepared n not get caught slipping

    LMGs in this game suck, they used to be a little too strong but now theyre just awful and nobody uses them. The people that do use them are usually the people that arn't very good at the game, find spots to go prone and play from only those spots.

      You almost have to go prone with those things now, they are pea shooters, got to land as many shots as possible or you'll lose a huge % of gunfights.

      Well, let's be honest. LMGs are designed for area denial and pinning down chokepoints. Only in games like COD were they made popular to run & gun. The first LMG is also quite efficient at taking out snipers on single fire when it has x4 magnification & a bipod.

      @@vfxswagg1337 True but considering there is no real suppression in this game, no one is afraid of the guy laying prone cooking off rounds with an LMG, no more then they are afraid of Ranger. They just stand their ground and pick you off in a 1/10 of a second with an SMG or assault rifle. It was the same thing with the MMG's in BFV, I wanted like the Browning but it was so weak.

      @@vfxswagg1337 battlefield is not a realistic game, its an arcady game. Conquest is a game mode where youre moving a lot, objective to objective, so having LMGs play the way youre saying makes no sense. Unless youre defending in breakthrough or rush. LMGs should not take out snipers lol thats not what theyre intended for. The LMGs in previous battlefields were a lot more balanced.

      @@Eric-qx1kx yep, if you sprint then ADS with it there is a delay, so youre supposed to be standing still and headglitching with them, they also dont do much damage. For the lack of mobility you should be getting more damage. Sacrafice mobility, increase damage would make sense.

    This is the problem that dice have always had. The unbalanced and then nonstop changes of them. It always happens when the life of the game is over..longest time you got everyone and their mother running shot guns as it's one shot kill from insane ranges. Rockets one extra one when vehicles have unlimited ammo and flares. These changes should have been fixed when they game up not when the game is over and players will be slowly going to play other games.

    so weird that they change C5 to 2 but then increased launchers. Crawford could already solo with his 3 if you hit your shots right, now soloing tanks with Crawford is easy

      It was to make engineers more prevalent as the anti tank class not assault. Assault isn't anti tank there is no reason for it to have 3C5.

      Engineers still have 3x C5. They only nerved C5 for Assault class, because this class was better at killing tanks than the Engineers, which was obviously a problem.

    They may as well put flags on them, and tanks start beeping when closing, like parking sensors!
    Pathetic... No wonder why their numbers keep falling and people don't play it anymore.
