I like doing, 3 fissures, in a "v" shape, Oil gyzer in the middle top of the v, with d pylon. Boost in the middle, And a flame aura. This is 180 and covers the flyers to. Also the 3 fissures helps out with that 10 mob cap limit.
@GrabShock it's basically the same as headstrong which has been a thing a long time. Embermount flames is essentially 'range'... it's using embermount flames instead of deadly strikes or a range servo. It always had a use case. But ya the only thing that changed is we have c9 expeditions to farm now with dragons which basically makes it 'headstrong'
The mod did change though, but not from the mod itself. What changed was our absurd level of power. Previously little goblins etc would eat up that 10 target cap while now they just instant die. SO although the mod itself didn't change it's effectiveness did many times over :)
@@MrJuicebags Agreed, the scale of power available to the player at this new tier is what makes this viable. That viability requires long lanes to make it "not garbage". It still has the same downsides and issues, only now the damage scales high enough to overcome it's shortcomings in this scenario.
Unfortunately every "Guide" I have read or seen recommends getting carried at that specific point. It's a real shame the balance deeply favors getting carried to break into that tier of upgrades.
@@mort3020 Personally, I did a build similar to this, minus the buff beam and added more fissures on Gates of Dragonfall. Then had a decent DPS Merc with frostfire and drakkenlord soul. I was able to get my 1st win that Way playing solo. That said, I died like 30 times in the process. I'd get a lucky break here and there that allowed me to get to the next wave. So...it IS possible to do c9 solo for your 1st time. But, you're gonna die alot. Lol
Hey Juice been following you for a long time and I’m coming back to the game. Trying to afk farm with an auto clicker or something, does the lavamancer with ember mount flames light the drakens on fire? That is the only thing holding me back from chaos AFK farming. Thanks buddy!
It's all relative to how much work you want to put in. Almost every full build will work with parts missing, just means you have to add more hero damage though.
What do I do if I didn't get the 2nd destructive pylon* and explosive shiledig guard from Prime 1 and 2 (In C8)? Hopefully I will get mass destruction at the end of it, as the maps are labeled complete in collections menu. But still annoying nontheless. Tried redoing the entire Prime 1 and 2, but to no avail. I checked every defense I had, but havent found the shards.

It is quite buggy atm as there was several "hidden" things during updates that reset your progress. No way to see what map the game thinks you are missing though. So you have to just go back through them 1 at a time :(

DPS is a number you should completely ignore in DD2, the majority of the time the displayed info is not correct at all. If you have the mods and shards you win, if you don't you struggle. So no clue, I didn't look as the displayed info is not accurate anyway.
It seems accurate to me, it just doesn't take into consideration anti mods or special shard effects, so knowing the dps helps shows what to expect, like when I'm looking at new a defense I'm trying and I see the dps only around 1 mil I know it's not going to work very well in chaos 9 even with the % increases from anti mods, it also doesn't seem to consider crit damage either but it still won't deviate too much from the shown number from what I've seen, but that's just from my personal experience, I haven't played too long so I could be wrong, do you know if dd2 will receive any more updates at all or if embermount was the finale?

Ive been running 2 fissures, 1 or 2 flame auras, boost aura, boost beam, and lsa for boss lanes

Can you do a video about how to Break into Chaos9 to actually farm the c9 relics to max level
His 1st c9 playthrough he suggested putting together a decent DPS hero and join existing c9 maps.

Nope, it is not considered an "ignite" Throw an oil geyser in the mix with it (ideal for holding Destructive Pylon) and then you have the full ignite!

You could force it to work, but it would not be ideal.

Gilded Shards? You combine 11 in to 1 for increased benefit.

Play him actively for an increased chance. Still a RNG factor, but ups your odds.

If you don't get it submit a support ticket. They are not very good at responding to those but it's worth a shot.

It was an old Caster's Guild flair from Sho. Sho does not stream DD2 any more so currently not possible to get.

Yes. Yes you can. Gonna take alot of grinding, though.
It's possible, but would be a completely miserable experience not having inventory space and would take an absurd amount of time.
