Viv always refers to herself as a 9 so i think she will make it clear with City that's what she is playing. She would not want any indecisiveness on whether she is a 9 or 10. I think she has adapted to being a 10 due to injury but she is unequivocally a 9 so her competition is bunny shaw. She did say in her City welcome interview that she will be working to play for the full 90 minutes so I imagine the following scenario Gareth will do: 1) sub her in for Bunny as the 9. 2) start her as the 9 but bunny subs in at 60-70 minute. 3) start both Bunny and Vivup front in 4-4-2 with Hempo and Fowler/Chloe on the wings. midfield comprise of Jess Park/Jill Roord and Yui Hasegawa. This third scenario is probably the ultimate lineup goal for Gareth with Fowler/Chloe subbing in that cAn cover both the wings and forward line. Coombs/Park/Roord rotation but i think Coombs might retire soon or benched next season given Park really stepped up and shine this season. Pending no major injuries this will be a lethal lineup and will probably produce a lot of ties or 1-0 games: meidema, Shaw, Hemp, Fowler, Hasegawa, Park, Casperij, greenwood, Ouhabi, Alexandri, Keating. As an Arsenal fan i hope Viv crushes Jonas's soul at the Emirates and yank away the Conti cup 😂 (and FA cup) and progress farther in Champions League 😆
I agree imo she didn't look great as a 10 in that period prior to her injury. I still do wonder how compromised she is by her injury. I'm interested to see how far Fowler can develop.
@@locuus7 Exactly this,Maanum deservedly started over her in the Lyon win....I don't see her outperforming Jess Park or even Roord(if she reaches pre-acl levels) as a 10
russo is miedemas replacement, but judging from last season shes nowhere near vivs level. arsenal backing a mediocre manager over one of the best ever players is embarrassing from a club of its level
once again great post
❤❤❤

@@risizirevlon4338 we don't know how roord will do after her acl either
@@locuus7 i hope she does really well like in the quarterfinals against france. She had 3+ solid shots at goal
@@For_Cruyff_Sake True, but there's Park,if City sacrifice her for Miedema rn,I think it'll be detrimental in the near future

I get the feeling Arsenal will regret letting Viv go
