So Dr. Gurgula will be the next big bad with a genetically enhanced Lizzie who has become a cold blooded bounty hunter who has been brainwashed by the doc. The money would probably go to the doctor.

it would be interesting if it means we could play as her and have a whole new set of gatlians with abilities suited for assassination (like a silenced version of kenny)
Given the way the humor goes with this kind of game, i see one of two possibilities: Ether she is "really getting around _wink wink_ "but the aliens she performs for only like and appreciate the human female form for really dumb and non-sexual reasons. OR she has become a villain.

I doubt there will be a sequel. This Doctor Gurgula is a "greater scope villain" cliche many sci-fi games/books/movies have. They show up after main antagonist is defeated, say a monologue and leave confused protagonists behind.
You know it could be awesome if the enemies had like bounties in their heads like some of g3 or gang members had some good bounty wanted dead and you can use knifey to cut off the heads or cut off the eyes of the small ones it could be fun to do that as a little update.

And I honestly think they couldve done Kenny a bit better. They left him behind? I hate the voice actor, but they couldve at least retconned the end of high on life and made Kenny die when he set off that bomb...would've been better than just leaving him behind.

I thought the reason she was absent from the game was because she was acted for the new gun because it's sort of sounds like Lizzie but I may be wrong it would be pretty cool if she became a bounty hunter in the lore of the story and is actually using Kenny as her gun
