I'm so pleased to see that banquette seating in the kitchen! Having lived and worked in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, where this kind of seating is very common - despite the harder benches (!) - I've often wondered why we don't adopt it more in this country, as it's so sociable!!
I have a controversial confession. Sophie’s style is not my style but I would watch every single one of her videos for inspiration because she has such a lovely way of explaining and I find her approach and manner so calming and inspiring. But I do want to infuse my future designs with about 10 to 20 % of SPI glitter sprinkled into them.
Beautiful spaces, I love a small bathroom or powder room with a large impact. (Also, I found the editing and musical overlay on this video so enjoyable, peaceful music that did not distract from the narration and imagery.)

Mind you, I don’t have a huge budget, but my husband and I have been able to do many things ourselves. He’s built me several pieces of furniture which are perfect for our home. So, thank you. Hello Sophia, My living room ceiling is angled where the highest point may be around 12 feet and the lowest 8 feet. Do you have any advice on how to treat the height of bookshelves in this case? Thank you.
I think that you guys should have done a pop-up painting that covers the tv and when you want to see tv you just pull it up with brackets, I think you would have gotten away with it the way the tv is located I did it in my home is really cool.
ps by brackets I mean like on the second part of this video you show the cabinet by the tv those are the hardware we used to mount the painting to cover the tv.
