Archaeologist here. There is a site nearby known as Miami circle that was excavated in the late 90s. That site had some condos from the '50s built on top of it, and the circle was nearly mistaken for seepage from a septic tank. What soulless developers are okay in destroying a historic site like this, which itself stands as a symbol of the history of Miami itself, yet are perfectly fine with building over it like it was nothing. Same problem happened with the discovery at Surfside after that building collapsed. Miami politicians let this happen for greed of waterfront property, the money is just too good of a take for soulless people like that.

this never happened! the developers destroyed the ancient tequesta city, nothing is on display.
