Once again, you piqued my interest in another Bible with a great video. I had seen the New Spirit Filled Life Bible and was impressed by what Jack Hayford was trying to do. It looks as though he has improved upon the previous edition. This looks like a study bible that a Christian could use whether they were Charismatic / Pentecostal, or not. Its going to be more difficult now deciding what Bible to buy myself for Christmas. (smile) Thanks!
I waited for more than 20 years ago that finally bought the book through a leather-bound book. I love the third edition better than previous editions because of the comfort print.

I ordered the leather edition and received it damaged from an online store. They were quick to help replace the Bible with a new one. I can't wait to receive the replacement bible and dig in! I really like the look of this Bible, and what the study aides have to offer. Thank you for this video!!

I look at study Bibles and commentaries as a post-study resource. It helps keep me between the lines and a lot of times helps clarify a thought or word it much better than I would have.
I recommend trying to get hold of the first edition instead of this one. It had questions and answers in the back of the first edition which were great. I just bought the 3rd edition and the questions and answers arent there so im giving it away and looking to track down a first edition. No idea why they removed them!
I got my copy, and I love it. The Kingdom Dynamics have updated which was needful. I appreciate the Pentecostal thought found in this Bible. The application of Scripture is drawn from the text. The editors have managed to keep Wayne Grudem which brings a balance of Calvinist theology to the Bible.
Large print...excellent. Beautiful colors in the text also. Hope the genuine leather cover is just as nice bc that's what I ordered. NKJV is my favorite after KJV. Thanks so much for this review, helped me decide. By the way, wish they would have made the hard cover a glossy one with same design as the dust jacket. That would have been a winner for sure.
Thomas Nelson has really improved their red print with the Comfort Print type face. Their old red print was not great. This looks to be almost Cambridge quality red print.
It could be, as long is it doesn't tear at the joint wher the hardcover and text block meet. If it deas tear, you can fix it with book binders tape, which reinforces that joint.
Hello I was wondering if you could clear something up. To my understanding, the first edition was Spirit-Filled Life Bible. Then the New Spirit-Filled Life Bible. And then the third edition is back to Spirit-Filled Life Bible? Does anyone know if this is correct and why remove the word "new" on the newest version?

Ify Nsoha I agree with you. We must rely on the Holy Spirit and Scripture, not just experience. Our experience must be found on the word of God.

Since the hardback is Smyth Sewn, if placed into a Bible cover, would it be almost as durable as the genuine leather?
