@@rnorfor2002 I like to do the Vault 79 quest as soon as possible on my low levels so that I can start doing the reputation grinding for both factions (and buying the ammo making machine at ally level rep from the raiders) - the Vault 79 raid is not actually hard, just time consuming, but well worth doing as it unlocks multiple benefits for your character. Just remember to do the pre-raid quests for both settlers and raiders before choosing a side as doing those quests gives you a lot of reputation PLUS the chinese stealth suit for FREE from the settlers - it's quite expensive to buy later if you miss out on the free one during these pre-missions.
OOPS I answered the wrong question - If you mean MORTIMER the bullion seller of Crater, yes he is still there however you won't see him unless you have completed the vault 79 mission with either Crater or Foundation - as mentioned above in the description "PLEASE NOTE: Smiley, Mortimer and Regs all require the completion of the Vault 79 mission "Secrets revealed" before they will appear in-game. Please complete "Secrets revealed" first..." - So if you are on a new character (even if you have done all that stuff before on a different character, you will need to do it again for each character).
You can, however I forgot to mention that he appears after you complete the mission "secrets revealed" (the Vault 79 raid mission), but after that, he is a very useful guy!
Ha cool....i actually found the welding mask lastnight by chamce and simce Id never seen it before, decided to keep it. I drop merged it onto a toolbox and now its part of my base, by my Power Armor stand.
Hello - Smiley will not appear until you have done the Vault 79 mission "Secrets Revealed" to unlock gold bullion (at that time, Mortimer at Crater will also appear. (Samuel and Minerva do not require that mission to access them and you can find Minerva's weekly location by going to whereisminerva.com ) - have a look at the fallout Wiki to see what the pre-requisites (quest chain) are to do Secrets revealed - it's an end-game mission but will only take about 1-2 days to do all of the stuff leading upto it if you concentrate on that quest --> fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Secrets_Revealed
@@skiddysm well lvl 100 in-game is hardly even anything - there are all the main and side quests to do, areas to explore, camps to build - are you doing the scoreboard? Have you found Nuka-World (lots to do there), The Pitt Expeditions, Daily Ops etc - if you are still bored with all this to do, have you found some people to play with? It's a lot more fun with other people. If that's still boring to you, then maybe this is not the game for you.
