@@GamingOffTheGrid Update: finished the collection in August (the last game I got was How To Train Your Dragon 2, a timeless classic). Hopefully your other video about the Wii U market and game prices was right, and I’ll be able to pay for my kid’s college education with a copy of Devil’s Third in 30 years
Resident Evil on the Wii U , hell yeah! Just finished Shovel Knight 2 weeks ago. What a excellent game, a must play. Definitely need to pick up More Wii U games. Great video guys!
Also, about Sonic Lost World: the WiiU version has exclusive DLCs levels that are themed around Zelda and Yoshi and they're probably the best levels in the game
Loving the Wii U love. Great video. Madden 13 on the Wii U is a under appreciated gem on the Wii U. Sonic Racing is also an awesome pick as well. Great great great video. Wii U 4 Life.
Great video! I picked up a Wii U recently and I'm blown away at how unique the console is. So many great games. Devil's Third is my fave exclusive! Highly recommend that one
I wish a lot more 3rd parties took advantage of the gyro aiming. COD, Resident Evil Revelations, Mass Effect would've been so much better with Splatoon like motion aiming. At least in COD, you can still use a wiimote + nunchuck which is pretty nifty.
Fatal frame here in the UK is called Project zero which in my opinion is a weaker name. Fatal frame sounds amazing. We did get a physical release but it didn't sell well and now in 2022 is probs one of the most expensive titles to pick up, way over £100 - £150 to pick up
Fantastic list and great video. Two games I’ll add is Little inferno (fun puzzle game that was rereleased for the switch but is much better on Wii U) and Fast racing Neo (Wii U exclusive, closest we got to an F zero game on Wii U).
Just wanted to thank you guys for opening my eyes to the Wii U, I recently purchased one and am having a blast with it. First game I got was NES Remix. I played it on the 3DS and always wanted to play it on a home console. Currently trying to get 3 rainbow stars on everything. Fun and frustrating. lol I was hoping it would get ported to the switch but no such luck. Wish they would make a new one. I'd be interested to hear if they did make a NES Remix 2 what games you'd like to see on there. Maybe a future episode idea? Anyway, thanks again guys!
Hell ya! Awesome to hear you are enjoying the console. We love the Wii U. And about that game, we love the NES Remix. It's one of our favorite to stream. We are close to all rainbow on it but dude, Wario Woods!!!! That F'n game! So yes, very fun but frustrating. Excellent episode idea as well, thanks for the suggestion. It would be awesome if they could do one and include some 3rd party titles :). Contra, Batman, Battletoads, Ninja Gaiden, Jackel, just to name a few. But it would most likely have to be Nintendo titles. How about an SNES Remix??? That would be killer. Cheers!
Oh boy… haven’t gotten to Wario Woods yet. I’m on Clu Clu Land right now which definitely isn’t my favorite. That’s a good point about the third party games, probably would just have to be Nintendo exclusives. Wow! SNES Remix, what an idea. That would be awesome!
It's crazy to me that u guys don't have more subscribers than u do. Love the videos, Maybe it's the fact that I could actually see my self hanging out and playing games with you guys.
Thanks for your kind words, much appreciated. We're just going to keep grinding away and let the subs fall where they may. Having a great time with the channel. Cheers!
I picked up black ops as per your recommendation on another video. I played some 1v1 death match and gun game style games (one on the tv and one on the game pad) and man… that’s a game changer! No more looking at the other persons screen! I don’t ever wanna play couch coop or local pvp games any other way now! Thanks fellas, cheers!
THANK YOU! I gotten a wii u back in 2014 but never really played it since i worked so much! Now i have more free time and want to play my wii u that i kept
Bestest Wii U coverage on the Tube. Great job guys! Thanks for covering my favorite console! I just purchased all of the stuff you mentioned in all of your Wii U videos!! I even purchased your guys Splatoon hard cover. Its dead sexy! Also, I think it would be wise to purchase a backup gamepad right now while they are plentiful. I purchased a Wind Waker version, because why not.
I think it's interesting that you so often mention everyone having their own screen, because honestly that's my favorite part about playing Stadia... local multiplayer with each player having their own screen. I'll play The Crew 2 with my girlfriend and give her the 4K TV while I play on my MacBook Air and we'll cruise around the USA and race together. It's so much fun to see multi-screen gaming alive and well in 2021!
I've played Sonic Racing with 4 people and performance was fine, don't recall any lagging whatsoever. Great list the multiplayer is fantastic in Black Ops 2 love it for intense local games of One In The Chamber! Also I believe every one of my consoles (SNES/PS2/Wii/Wii U/2DSXL) are modded in some fashion, I too have taken a stroll on that shady path haha.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I've been trying to figure out what game to get next that made use of the gamepad, and this was very helpful. I storage was at 300GB, and now at 20.
I'm thinking about picking up a spare tablet or two while they're still plentiful. I also nearly pulled the trigger on a copy of Wonderful 101 but haven't done it yet. I did buy Devil's Third from the eshop after you recommended it before though, and it's great dumb fun.
I just bought it from GameStop. They’ve a 5 for $50 for games $19.99 and under and this title is $20 at GameStop so I bought it along with a few other Wii U titles. Came out to about $10!
I love these videos. Luckily I have most of these but I’ll have to track down a couple. I really want that Deus X title. I never see it though. One third party game I picked up the other day that I recommend and was having a blast playing is the SteamWorld Collection (Steamworld Heist and SteamWorld Dig) those games really surprised me. They were a blast to play.
I would think you can use the gyroscope controls on switch for fatal frame but I've never played that game so I'm not sure. I've been considering importing it from playasia but it's very pricey and I've never played the series.
Maaaannn y’all talked about Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on Wii U and didn’t talk about all the awesome Nintendo themed costumes and the Snoop Dogg stage in the game
Splinter Cell on Wii U is amazing! One of the best... and the tablet use is so nice! I also recommend 007 Legends because it includes the Skyfall DLC & extra content plus some use of tablet.
@@GamingOffTheGrid I really like the Wii U version of the Splinter Cell. There are other third party games for Wii U with extras... like Darksiders 2, Ninja Gaiden and Bayonetta. Injustice runs very well on Wii U. 😉
I bought a few great Wii U indie games (that are unfortunately not available on Switch). Knytt Underground (9/10) An unconventional Metroidvania in its most definitive iteration, by the maker of Affordable Space Adventures. Features mature dialogue, a huge open world, and a fantastic soundtrack. The Cave (9/10) An exciting dark humour Lucas Arts adventure with 10 characters and 10 endings for 3 players simultaneously. Very fun, even with some frame hiccups, but I completed it 100% because I loved it. Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones (9/10) With exclusive asymmetric multiplayer, original puzzles, an open world metroidvania structure, and level editor with online sharing this was one of the early eShop greats. It's a very deluxe package. The Swapper (8/10) A really neat multiplatform sci-fi puzzler with a dark story and dense atmosphere. Scram Kitty And His Buddy On Rails (9/10) Not a rail shooter, but a shooter on rails. Very fluid and fast, with the perfect variety of exciting and challenging stages. Year Walk (8/10) A horror tale in the snowy forests of the North lands. A little bit short, but very polished and scary. Good use of the GamePad as well. F1 Race Stars - Powered Up Edition (7/10) A very neat 5 player Mii racer. One of the few hidden racing gems for Wii U. This game is also available on disc. Tetrobot & Co. (8/10) A very unique, but simple and polished puzzler. A little bit Sokoban but with its own interesting twists. Blek (7/10) Same as above, but a totally different game in where you draw lines that move on their own once you let them go. Tengami (7/10) A short zen puzzler / interactive origami book story, made by ex-Rareware employees. PixelJunk Monsters - Ultimate Edition (9/10) The Switch only has the sequel to this hooking tower defense game. But the Switch sequel isn't as tight and quick as this one. It's especially fun in co-op. EDGE (8/10) Apart from the fantastic Toki Tori and even better Toki Tori 2+, Two Tribes also released the fine puzzler RUSH and this isometric spacey cubey get-to-the-goal platformer with a ton of crazy stages. For its very low price it provides really good content.
@@GamingOffTheGrid Thanks, I'd have loved to recommend more, but many nice Wii U "exclusives" like Life of Pixel and Lone Survivor - The Director's Cut have recently transformed into the updated Switch versions Super Life of Pixel and Super Lone Survivor. Teslagrad is now on Switch too. Three good ones that aren't on Wii U's exclusivity list anymore. PS. I don't know if you've covered it yet but Scribblenauts Unlimited is best on Wii U as well.
Late to the party. I love watching your videos. I wanted to mention that Rayman was definitely built for the Wii U. It was supposed to be a Wii U exclusive. Ubisoft changed their mind, wait U fans wait until it was ported to other consoles, AND THEN released it for all systems at the same time. Slap in the face.
Its funny because I just bought a wii u bundle because it was going to be cheaper to do it this way to replace their (my nephews) wii u game pad, and Madden 13 and the lego movie was in the bundle so I added it to my collection.
Never has it accord to play my Wii U on my Trinitron. I’m intrigued to see how it looks like with component cables now that I see you fellows playing on it ?
A little bit late to the party but yeah, great list. Would add Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, the map functionality given that the map is huge and with a lot of collectible/activities was a super nice addition. I played it later on Xbox and it just wasn't the same experience.
Gotta give it to the Wii U despite the many flaws and many many many many lack of third party games it still has hidden gems Also the Wii third party support was decent and it help so many developers save money cause it was basically the GameCube 2.0 and it goes on in switch sorta
Way too many people hate on this system and downplay it for poor reasons. They don't realize that the Gamepad was essentially a blessing. And not one in disguise--certain games blatantly show off an incentive to use the Gamepad , primarily to able to give you an experience that you can't get on other platforms. It's quite sad to realize that there will never be anything like the Wii U Gamepad again. Even with third party titles that don't necessarily have special Gamepad features, they may at least give you a separate screen from your partner in a two-player game. It's one of the reasons why I got into the Warriors games. There's only three on Wii U, (Fist of the North Star Ken's Rage 2, Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper and of course Hyrule Warriors) and after going back to other consoles to play the multitude of them, I still feel spoiled by the Wii U due to the fact that I didn't have to put up with any split-screen. There's quite a handful of worthwhile third party titles/ports on the system here shouldn't be ignored if someone actually owns the system. Of course, there are some that...need to be avoided, but we don't have to talk about those.
Ya the folks who are haters of the system will wish they hadn't some day because it will be highly collectable at some point. It's already climbing. Cheers to the good ol' Wii U!
Just wanted to drop a comment to support you fine gentlemen. I'd love to see a new Sega Genesis update video or something a little more obscure like you guys have done here with the Wii U if you're looking for new content ideas. Keep up the great content production!
I have almost all the games on the list for my WiiU, and I completely agree with you guys Damn, Mass Effect and Deus Ex are amazing on WiiU I need to buy Tekken and Need for Speed... I would add Splinter Cell Blacklist, it has a great Gamepad usage
If the Wii U had allowed U to use 2 tablets, Madden 13 on the Wii U would have been the definitive version of the game. Imagine each player being able to use a Gamepad to call up their defense or their offense without the other player being able to see. The tablet was a HUGE mistake on Nintendo's part, but then they doubled down on dumbness by not selling them separately and by not allowing more than 1 to be used at a time. Made it a half-assed, failed console.
Most of our modded consoles we just researched it and did it ourself. We have a Game Cube that a friend did for us. But for the most part we just took the dive on our own. Cheers!
I love the Wii u, shame it didn’t do better than it did. Btw I’ve always wondered, have either of u guys ever accidentally knocked ur beers off that little table with ur arm wen u r talking?
i've got two blacks and 2 BOTW's- you guys do have a choir though very limited. Ubisoft screwed Nintendo over so bad with Legends and Zombie U- fixing to break the bank on the Eshop
So no purge the Wii u collection video..dang it If I end up buying a Wii u I'm blaming you guys I just bought the switch a few months ago and collecting for that but man I don't Wana regret not getting the Wii u ...I Wana play that zombie u game..
Ya no purge. We haven't don't one of those in a while. Might need to soon. If you get a Wii U I'm sure you would enjoy and in the case that you don't....it's definitely not going to lose value. Thanks a ton for watching man. Cheers!
What brought this console down was I feel this the Wii U was built to compete with the PS3 and 360 and completely disregarded the next generation. Nintendo DEFINITELY has the resources and money to make a console as powerful as the PS4 and Xbox One during that time. We wouldn’t have gotten the Switch if that were the case (which is also needlessly underpowered) but I honestly would take that trade off. However there is a good reason to get one of these now. And that’s to mod the everloving hell out of the console
yeah you have a good point. we also think people just thought it was an upgrade wii so they didnt buy it. of course hardcore people knew better but we are speaking of casual gamers
LOL! Ya we've tried about everything with it. We're going to get some new chairs at some point. They've been with us since the channel started. It's about time for an upgrade. Cheers!
Revelations on Wii U sadly is the most gimped version these days. In 2020 capcom terminated the renet support which eliminates most of the replay value in raid mode. For story mode only it's a great game to play, but without renet, you'll be better off with the 360/PS3 ports that are still supported with events and rewards.
Great list- I bought a Wii U at launch, but only decided to go for a full physical set in March. I’m up to 154 games- only 12 more to go!
Damn! Almost there. It is definitely an attainable set. Best of luck completing it. Cheers!

The "White Men Can't Jump" shirts just google it, it will pop up. Robert's shirt I believe he got off of Amazon a couple years back. Cheers!
Hey what about Assassins Creed Black Flag?
Good question! Have you played it? I have a copy of it on the Wii U but haven’t played it yet
You guys definitely need more subs cause you are Awesome!
Well thanks :). The channel has been growing a bit but it's fairly slow. We're just going to keep grinding out vids. Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid been liking the Wii U vids and vids on other gaming topics
Keep it up and Cheers to you as well ^_^
Way too many people hate on this system and downplay it for poor reasons.
I wish WiiU had MMO or gtaonline styled games
Bayonetta 1&2
Great games indeed! Thanks for watching. Cheers!
Just wanted to drop a comment to support you fine gentlemen. I'd love to see a new Sega Genesis update video or something a little more obscure like you guys have done here with the Wii U if you're looking for new content ideas. Keep up the great content production!
Thanks man! We've been diving into the Genesis more lately. We'll definitely do more vids on the Genesis at some point for sure. Cheers!
Yer the nba jam shirt is great. Just had a weekend of the whole family and friends playing nba on fire edition on ps3 playing. All 12 of us. Hahaha
Hell ya! Sounds like a great time. That game is so damn good. Cheers!
I have almost all the games on the list for my WiiU, and I completely agree with you guys
Damn, Mass Effect and Deus Ex are amazing on WiiU
I need to buy Tekken and Need for Speed...
I would add Splinter Cell Blacklist, it has a great Gamepad usage
We will have to look into some of those games! Cheers!
Reisdent evil revelation on 3ds was the second RE game i ever play my first resident games was RE4 on ps2
Both a great but RE 4 is a classic. Such a damn good game. Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid cheers to you too
If the Wii U had allowed U to use 2 tablets, Madden 13 on the Wii U would have been the definitive version of the game.

How much you guys pay for modded consoles and where can we get them?
Most of our modded consoles we just researched it and did it ourself. We have a Game Cube that a friend did for us. But for the most part we just took the dive on our own. Cheers!
I love the Wii u, shame it didn’t do better than it did. Btw I’ve always wondered, have either of u guys ever accidentally knocked ur beers off that little table with ur arm wen u r talking?
LOL! We have for sure, more than once actually. I believe it's in the blooper section in a couple of older vids :). Cheers!
Love wii u, just bought bayonetta 1 and 2
two solid games. enjoy man
are you guys going to live stream today
Yesir! Will go live at 730pm cst
i've got two blacks and 2 BOTW's- you guys do have a choir though very limited. Ubisoft screwed Nintendo over so bad with Legends and Zombie U- fixing to break the bank on the Eshop
had to get physicals of N64 Zelda's on my 3ds xl because i'm a collector as well
So no purge the Wii u collection video..dang it
If I end up buying a Wii u I'm blaming you guys
I just bought the switch a few months ago and collecting for that but man I don't Wana regret not getting the Wii u ...I Wana play that zombie u game..
Every Lego game after Harry Potter 5-7 has split screen.
Love the wiiu. Do you guys like the vita?
We do. We only have a couple fist fulls of games but we do really like it. Cheers!
Way to talk up the Wii U boys! Be careful with that “Just one more game” mentality with Zombies you’ll lose the channel! Haha
LOL! Ya the struggle is real :). Cheers!
Damnit, stop promoting the Wii U! How can I keep getting cheap Wii U Titles if you keep telling people about the good games?!?!?
LOL! We're ruining collecting I know I know :). Cheers brotha!
That dope shirt is literally on 🔥

It's a banger for sure dude. Love that game. Cheers!
Oh I only have a couple of regular Wiis. Oh well.
Buen video, muy informativo.
Such a shame that Nintendo didn’t name and market this console better - it deserved it.
*name it differently
Definitely. They shit the bed for sure on the marketing side. Great console but didn't have a chance. Cheers!
2 hrs to go at work nothing to do . New video upload by gaming off the grid. Booommmmshakalaka
Cheers to that!
That chair needs WD-40.
LOL! Ya we've tried about everything with it. We're going to get some new chairs at some point. They've been with us since the channel started. It's about time for an upgrade. Cheers!
WatchDogs is the greatest 3rd party on Wii U.
Lie again.
Haven't played that one. If we find it on the cheap we'll snag it. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
Had to instant click on this video
You forgot Watch_Dogs
1st?
Switch lives because Wii U's backlog
Why not buy a better tv?
Better according to what measure? For retro gaming we have one of the best TVs ever made
Revelations on Wii U sadly is the most gimped version these days. In 2020 capcom terminated the renet support which eliminates most of the replay value in raid mode.
For story mode only it's a great game to play, but without renet, you'll be better off with the 360/PS3 ports that are still supported with events and rewards.

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!
