So in his original lore video he explains that mysterious Ze’mer (one of the five great knights of Hallownest) also known as the grey mourner, was in love with the Traitor lord’s daughter. Their union was frowned upon though and eventually ended in tragedy which mossbag states is because they were both female. Although, it’s most likely just because Ze’mer was an outsider which the mantises didn’t like due to what we know about them
