- In this video or tutorial we show you how to prepare the sloop or boat for winter before you bring it to winter storage. We explain what you should pay attention to when preparing your boat or boat for the winter. We give you free tips. With these tips you can prevent a lot of problems in the spring. We show you how to spray the bottom of the sloop or boat and check the antifouling. If your boat or boat needs a new antifouling layer, you can apply it yourself or have it done by your service company. Our advice is to have this done in the spring, just before the boat or boat goes into the water. We then check the anode behind the propeller shaft (in this case). This ensures that the propeller and the propeller shaft are not affected by electrolysis. After this we do a motor check and we also check if there is water in the bilge. We open the lid of the censer, watch carefully. We also explain which color antifreeze (Starbrite drinking water antifreeze - also suitable for the engine) should come out of the exhaust during the winter preparation. Explain when and why you open and close the water valve. Turn off the main switch just before you put the sloop or boat in winter storage or disconnect the poles from the battery. We fill the sloop or boat (diesel) at the end of the summer season and we make an addition through the diesel. You do this before refueling in the diesel tank. After this you fill up the sloop or boat. This addition is called Forté advanced diesel fuel conditioner.

Persoonlijk haal ik ook altijd de impeller er uit s'winters omdat de schoepjes het model van de pomp aan nemen.

Over dat antivries. Als je de boot in het water laat swinters. Kan je de kraan dan dicht laten na het spoelen? Of verstandig om hem dan ook open te laten?
Goede vlog, nuttige info ik zou het interessant vinden als er ook een video kwam over lang doorvaren en de boot in de winter in het water laten liggen. Wat zijn dan de aandachtspunten? Ik heb zelf een tender sloep met een bb inde bun.

Goede nuttige video. Suggestie: ik zou graag een video zien van het reinigen van de sloep voor dat deze de stalling in gaat. Bijv welke schoonmaak methodes gebruik je en wanneer.. polijst je bijv metteen als hij gereinigd is of pas in het voorjaar voor de te water lating? Bedankt!

Waarom voeg je antivries toe als de boot droog staat ,het motortje wordt indirect gekoeld ,als je nu je buitenboordwater aflaat kan het ook niet bevriezen (mocht het ooit winter worden in Nederland 😜)mvg een stoker
