Testing Vintage Jim Dandy Pecan Cracker - Will be used with Hit and Miss Engine

  • This is a quick test video! I am restoring this ca. 1942 pecan cracker. This video shows slow motion views of the "Rube Goldberg" mechanism as I figure out how it works and how to adjust the machine. The only documentation I found was the original patent papers which were not very helpful! It only cracks the pecan-- it does not shell it.
    Made in San Antonio, Texas, I bought it at a tool sale in 2019.
    "Theoretically" it is supposed to be automatically adjustable to crack (not shell) pecans.
    Any constructive comments will be appreciated!
