The smaller Apple Watch you are comparing to the ultra is tiny. There are plenty of watches out there on the market over 50+ mm , and way thicker. The Apple Watch is largish, but not exceptionally . But I think fit is important , having the right band makes the world of difference.
I am looking forward to buying the ultra 2, would you recommend this for a regular guy who goes to gym and isn’t that much of an outdoor guy? Or should i go with the series 10?
I also mostly just go to the gym and am not really doing much outdoors. It's a matter of which style you like more and battery life, I guess. Functionality wise, they are just both more than capable for everyday needs.
the ultra fits perfect!

Go for a refurbed Ultra 1 instead of ultra 2 and series 10.
