A tip for when you do multi missions, time passes when you do the actual missions (8 days). So if you have light damage you can put your mecs that you use in the first mission on repair and do the second with a new lance, then the first lanec will be repaired for the third mission. Good to know when you do longer multi missions.

"Is this viable?" No, not like that, you put 4 or 5 on each arm, add ammo, add cooling add battlecomputer MK 5+. SHAZZAM!! Fast firing murder machine. The low below tier 3 light rifles are too inefficient. Remember you can upgrade the rifles you have and adjust how many you need per tier to go up a tier in the YAML settings.
Id try to prioritize getting a blood asp, its a very fun and versatile mech with good mobility and nice High ballistic hardpoints in the side torsos. It also has a pretty good ballistic quirk that lends itself quite well to RAC5s since you get a lot of Ballistic projectile speed and heat generation which I find are quite important for RAC5s. I like to put 2 RAC5s in the side torsos, and then a bunch of micro lasers which can still do a good amount of support fire since the blood asp has so many energy hardpoints. Alternatively you can just go full in on an energy boat since it has like 12 energy hardpoints. Beware though, since its an omni mech it has a fixed armor slot , its not the toughest mech out there, so ECM and harjel can be quite beneficial. Anyways Cheers and I really enjoy these playthroughs !!!
OOF! Just played my first Endgame Duel. 320t weight cap. 5 enemies with perfect weapons and headshots for days. Blew the cockpit from my Direwolf, ripped my Blood Asp in half (arm, ST, and head all destroyed) and the Battlemaster Hero I was running with 4x ERPPC(c) with every cooldown mod I have lost a leg, all head and back armor, and was red everywhere else. Those Endgames are no joke!!
Every time Bara plays the Dire Wolf I have a laugh about the "Light Rifles." So "light" that they shake the whole 'mech when they fire! It's also funny to me that they're so devastating, when the "rifle" category in Battletech refers to primitive pre-spaceflight weapons, and the light variant canonically can't damage BattleMech armor.
Man, the Marauder and the Timber Wolf are the linchpins of this lance. Also, it would be interesting to see if the command console would help all the mechs in a lance.
I just won a 300 ton level 250 endgame duel with just 2 omega mechs in my latest playthrough. But one had 2 LNPPCS for it's weapons and the other was 4 RGauss packed to the gills with ammo and both mounting 2 LAMS systems. They literally couldn't get close before getting destroyed.
If you are planning to rebuild the D-wolf, I would recommend giving 10 Clan ER L Lasers a try. You can have 5 in each arm and save the rest of the space for cooling.
You can save your salvage rights for the next mission in multi missions. So if you don't see anything super exciting then save your rights. Especially if you have another battlefield or war zone as you can keep killing until your happy with your loot table
Use your Targeting Computers and Turret Mounts, my man. You've seen what happens when you do on the Stone Rhino. Upgrade those Light Rifles. And if you don't want stock builds when repairing a new mech from scratch, why not strip everything except what you want to work with?
I don't like the city prop biome or spaceport city. I like when the cities or multiples cities biomes come up, fun to destroy. Why have illusions when everything can be destroyed. Some biomes are 'a bridge too far' 😏 Great video as always.

End game battleground are buggy atm since part of the mission is to obtain data from 2 allied mechs before they get destroyed and they are very likely get destroyed before you can even find them. Sometimes the mission is lost before you even leave your dropship. No kidding.
I enjoy watching/listening to these videos while playing my own game. I do like the idea of being able to give Commander Mason a break from time to time, which mod do you use to trade him out? i find the little X to remove him but if I do, I can't replace him at all, even put him back in the spot.
Hey Baradul, ever try playing this game solo? As in no Lance mates. I recently put 200 hours into this game and was able to solo every single mission on all the various difficulty levels, using a Black Knight pimped right out. I'd love to see you do some challenges!

Im going to do another playthrough with all the dlc but I'm having trouble organizing the mods in such a way that they're all up to date and don't conflict with one another, and it seems pretty obvious you know what you're doing on this respect lmao.
most mech's I face with my 6 ER PPC Annihilator are dead in about three Alpha strikes but I get a lot of headshots so it may be over in a 1 shot Alpha strike

That Light Rifle build needs a Targeting Comp 8 and Weapon Mount. Load up an arm and it is *certainly* viable.
Or turrent mount, but you need extra cooling

5:18 The A.I did quite well with the Rapid Fire Gauss Stone Rhino, actual did more damage than you with the Dire Wolf on that fight.

I found tat my Kodiak 8 clan ER med laser kill heavy mech in 1 shot. Rarely i fire it clan ER large las. Imagine Direwolf with 16
