I feel like the least they could do is muzzle them, but with those "flexible" plastic muzzles so the impact of the charging dog alone wouldn't hurt Kiki and the dogs wouldn't be uncomfortable. Every dog should be used to muzzles anyways, if they aren't already then this is a great time to start.
Maria S My dogs don’t bite, we’ve never felt any reason to muzzle them. Knowing my dog she’d think she’s in trouble if we tried to. When my dog was a puppy everything scared her and she peed when scared. Muzzle training would of sucked. I personally think muzzling is just cruel if it’s unnecessary. How about I put duck-tape on your mouth for no reason? I don’t think you’d like it that much either.
@@testerwulf3357 a well fitting muzzle isn't lile duct tape, it's more like glasses :) it's important that the dog can pant and drink through the muzzle, and that there are at least 2 cm empty space between the tip of the nose and the muzzle. I don't know a single dog, that, when introduced properly, minds this kind of muzzle. Also, in most european countries, a muzzle is required for public transport. In the worst case it can also be necessary if the dog is hurt badly and confused/out of control and the vet feels unsafe treating a dog in this state. Wouldn't it be better if the dog then would be already used to wearing a muzzle so it doesn't cause any furthermore stress?
@@testerwulf3357 also, if you found a muzzle that fits the comfort-criterias, it's important to not just put it on, because then of course it won't be a nice experience for the dog, but to introduce it slowly is important. I put some sort of meat paste on the inside and let my dog lick it out when she still was a puppy, not actually putting it on at all, so now she doesn't have a negative association with the muzzle. Slowly i started making her wear it for short periods of time, gradually building it up, giving her lots of praise and rewards. Now she doesn't mind wearing it at all! If trained like that, there is no reason a dog would then think that it's being "punished" - why so? In my countrie dogs are allowed to run off leash in parks when wearing a muzzle only, so for my dog I'd argue it even is a sign of "I'll be allowed to run free soon"! Putting a harness or a collar and a lead on a dog isn't punishment or cruel either, but in this scenario the muzzle has a similiar function to them.
Ok for those peoplewho ask were the pups are, please if you have watched this channel you knowlitter 3was born last year. All 3 are more than a year old actually i think 1 1/2 year old and all 3 have new homes, those videos with them as little pups are prerecorded or do you really think they stay that small for over a year?
Important Quote from another user: From someone who raised a few rabbits, I have some friendly suggestions. The bottom of the rabbit cage should be entirely filled with hay, it feels more comfortable than walking on plastic and the rabbit will eat a lot of hay. The rabbit should also have a small place to hide, it will be more comfortable if it has a “den” to retreat inside. I would also consider getting a second rabbit, rabbits are very social animals and feel much happier when they have a friend. As for the dogs, I’m not entirely sure how exactly the rabbit should be introduced, but I think you should introduce the rabbit to the dogs one at a time. Shibas have a high prey drive and it’s important they do not see the rabbit as a toy, or worse, as prey.
