      @@tbeastlift1876 you are very welcome. My concealed carry holster is a Kydex holster from Amazon titled. Glock 17 with OLight Baldr pro. And my range holster is the Orpaz series light bearing holster kit It has several different attachments like on the belt drop down from the belt and a drop leg holster as well as quick detach, which is the one that I use because it is very convenient when getting in and out of the car.

    Update: The different rail attachments are not different sizes but different positioning attachments which enables you to slide the light forward or backwards! So a feature I have not seen on other lights.

    • @FireFighterChen
      @FireFighterChen ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Olight has had that feature for a while on some models, they even Incorporated it into their quick disconnect lever so it's fast to adjust.

      What feature are you talking about? I have several OLight and they’ve only ever came with a GL rail & 1913 rail attachment on my Valkyrie Turbo, Valkyrie Pro, & Baldr Pro. As well as Rifle lights like the OLight Odin which Is AMAZING !!! And a OLight Seeker 3 which is also AMAZING. It’s actually pretty compatible with any holster that works for the stream light Tlr-1 I actually i’ve grown very fond of the light! It’s Rock solid and I order a bunch of replacement batteries from amazon they last pretty long and are rechargeable but I slow charge @ .5 amp so that makes them last longer. It’s very bright definitely a True rated light.

    What did you have to do to get the holosun dot on there? A particular plate? Also, strobe feature is the worst.

    • @americantrucker9813

      I modified the original plate that came with it so basically a pain that I wouldn’t recommend simply because I destroyed the original plate and scratched up my base of my optic pretty good so I couldn’t recommend doing anything half assed I shouldn’t have but I was being impatient and figured I’d never use the original plate.

    So if I wanted to get this model for the 5" to be closer to in line with the barrel would it be possible with the rail bits it comes with? I have a wild 2 and even that sits about .1" behind the muzzle.

      So I think it would come up short still or the controls will be too far from the trigger guard that it might look. Strange but idk I don’t have anyway to check for you but I do know that the Surefire x300 fits perfectly flush and looks excellent on your 5inch model and that is the light that I would get if I had the 5 inch

      The Prodigy is amazing realistically it is an STIGEN2 clone. Everything is backwards compatible in my opinion there are no bugs to work out. If you scoured through the comments on my channel, you’ll see the vast majority of buyers have had zero issues there will always be a few as with any production firearm, but that is why you purchase with an American company that gives you a lifetime warranty

    I have no issue with the light... I just can't see buying that, when for 40 bucks more you can get a TLR1 HL, and not have to hunt a holster... Because EVERYBODY and their brother makes a holster for the TLR series.

    • @americantrucker9813
      @americantrucker9813  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a very good reason! I bought two simply because I’m a huge fan of Holosun and the light fits flush on my prodigy and I preferred a flush fitting light and I make my own holsters so that wasn’t a concern of mine.

      Well its a brand new light, holsters will take a little bit but assuming the light is even mildly popular holsters will be relatively easy to find. But 18350>dual cr123s, the current/next generation of pistol lights will completely phase out dual cell cr123 lights.

The only parts I changed out was the disconnector and I put a different sear spring that I tuned to my liking. The original disconnecter was a tad too long so the gun would hang up on it. I had the most trouble fitting the trigger onto the frame , but after that and a good internal polish job , my gun is buttery smooth. No offense but in my opinion only an idiot would press their Gun against a bad guy by choice that would be so far from tactically sound , if your referring to some struggle when you have no choice than I’d say that probably has some merit but your gun should work fine either way (training should build muscle memory to pull that elbow back and the muzzle almost directly beside your chest away from the bad guy In a struggle) and I like a flush fitting light for Comfort (appendix Holster) , when the light is forward of the muzzle it gets smoked black and becomes almost useless, and also I think it gives a much better sleek Look as well. That’s my opinion However you prefer it great God Bless you and more power to you !
