I legit teared up when Red Robin died. It really got to me when Batman was holding Steph and it looked like he was crying too. HUGE sigh of relief when it turned out that Tim wasn't dead.
I wish they had revealed that later, it would have hit more if we thought that Tim was gonna be K.I.A for a long time rather than what they did here. It feels kind of tacked on too.

I saw an interview with the writer and he stated that Tim is the Robin he grew up reading and that he is his favorite Bat Family Member. So we will probably be seeing more of him soon.
The explanation to that is slightly complicated. From what I know Ra''s runs the League of Assassins in the comics. The League of Shadows is a name often given to Ra's group in other media like cartoons and movies due to not wanting to use the name Assassin for one reason or another. As far as comics continuity I am not sure there has been a seperate League of Shadows before now
So whatever happened with the Comedian's button showing up in the Bat Cave? I remember that happening in Batman's Rebirth, but don't think anything's happened with that since.
Or "Oz"ymandias somehow survived, that's my guess. Dr. Manhattan wouldn't wear any clothing, I know it my sound silly, but if I remember correctly Doctor did not wear any clothing after his transformation as he understood they are meaningless in the great scope of the mystery of the universe.
