- I’m really pleased with the velocities I saw during the range trip…Ramshot Magnum seems to be a great option with the 162gr SST…I’ll be testing Ramshot Hunter with the Barnes 120gr TTSX to see if I can get over 3,500 FPS without the pressure sign I saw using Winchester 760. Y’all have a good one!
I re- barreled a Sako 75 in 300 WSM to a 7mm SAUM. I was going to do a 7 WSM but the lack of available brass steered me to the SAUM. Waiting for the weather to break to shoot it. Good video!
In the immortal words of Frank Zappa: "Speed kills."
I didn't realize that cartridge was faster than a 7 RM.
thats a good way to look for pressure trends using .5 gr increments. let me know if you want them annealed, i have a new candle system calibrated.
Subscribed! We like twins man! This the type of stuff I do
Say what you will I get amazing results from Accurate 2700 in my 6.5 and .270. The .270 five shots touching at 140yrds
Afternoon man! ❤
Good afternoon buddy! I hope you’re doing well!
Magpro is another good option.
💨
1- least temp sensitive
2-least fps deviation per grain of powder
3-fill the case the most
tese are 3 things i like for my 270 wsm hunting load.
thx for the great video
Just curious if you’re able to find brass anywhere for the 270 wsm or did you have a good stock before everything went crazy
@@sbhcmcc i had to buy hornady and federal ammo where ever i could find it. i like the federal brass. winchester brass is garbage. i also ordered 5 boxes of 7mm wsm and when i redeived it it was all nickel plated brass, that really sucks.
@@matthieudangerous I tried to reload some of the nickel plated stuff before and for whatever reason I couldn’t get it to shoot well at all
Sst seems people love em or hate em.
Where have u found brass
Duck Creek Sporting Goods is where I found some
