@@APDEvening I agree with you. Southern had a more balanced sound but they didn’t sound as special as Bama State did to me, it’s something about ASU’s low brass they’re dark and clear. Feel like ASU held back in the Zero and SU held back in the 5th. It was a great battle but ‘Snooze’ did it for me.

That would be the case if we're talking perception and not arrangements. It's clear as day that Southern continues to out-arrange ALL of their competition. This was the case here. Not to mention it seems as if Bama's trumpet section ran out of steam and couldn't keep up with their songs. You can't be a complete package missing key representation in certain sections. SU by a mile during this battle.
