Double tape it then and don’t pull masking tape off like pulling towards you pull masking tape down keeping it quite tight that way you don’t get no flares especially if it’s a bigger gun

I always used the same method of tape then use finger, but If you do that with bathroom silicone it will go mouldy due to the surface ridges and bacteria from the mouth now use soay water and silicone block, no criticism just I used same method for years, now no more mould in bathroom now. Great work! Can you explain the term you often use 'in twist'? I addume this means the frame is seat square to the door slad with even gap around inside door-to-frame reveal? Cheers

Hi Ste thanks for message It’s just glass cleaner we use as lube before using the finger on silicone We used sleeved fixings for the top hinges mainly instead of concrete screws, concrete screws if you go in and out more than once it sheds the brick and doesn’t provide a good enough fixing the do some at Toolstation Just normal fun grade soudal expanding foam

No, it shouldn't be hard to open, while you turn the key pull the door towards you to Ho realise the tension, but it still shouldn't be too difficult to open no
