Jugger Nog anything breaks if you are careless enough to sit on it, an iPad, a smartphone, your headphones, a wine glass, even your dog/baby will break its neck if you are that careless to sit without looking

I would agree that the solo 3's are not worth it for $300 but now in 2019 you can find these for right around $150 most places and for that price (at which I did buy them) I would say they are worth it.
I bought mine (he got them free with a MacBook and their headband is taped) from my friend for $40 because he wanted to smoke 😂

Here in Oct 2021 I just bought a pair for $99 very nice for the price. Don’t know if I would feel the same for $300. Do like the W1 Apple chip, and the 40 hours battery life. And don’t forget quick charge feature. And of course I like the seamless interaction between all of my Apple products. I find that I have to turn the EQ off with my Solo 3’s whereas I have to add bass booster to my Powerbeats Pro. And even though they don’t have noise cancelling they do pure passive isolation which works fine. Again I believe they are worth $99 in today’s market but not much more.
I bet when they make the solo 4's they're gonna be like:

Beats work best with Apple devices and are made for hip hop/rap, edm, and genres that include electronic audio effects. They’re typically hated by those who don’t listen such genres and/or those who don’t own iDevices. I bought a pair of semmheiser hd 4.50s after doing an extensive amount of research and receiving only positive reviews, but once I tried them for myself, I realized the sound quality was terrible. Being somewhat of an audiophile, I was trained to hate beats but once I tried them on for myself in my local target, I felt they’d be perfect for my taste and the genre I listen to. Overall, beats are for certain listeners and their quality cant be determined by just one person. If you have the opportunity, I’d recommend trying headphones on in store to get a feel of the product first hand.

c bass Nah man, i listen to so many jazzy songs and the beat do amazing at capturing every sound. Even when listen to albums such as untitled un mastered which packs jazz and high end sounds like no tmrw, they preform outstandingly. Also one more thing no one mentions, THEY LOOK AMAZING

Bit of an opinion I did try to actually do this, went to my local store (JB-HI-FI, and decided to try the headset as they were put on display, I don't know if the demo headsets were a lemon or not, the first thing that happened was that when I put them on, they made a very creak sound, a sound that came from the hinges, that kinda already deterred me from actually getting them, but I decided to try it despite the already disappointing build quality, I tried to listen to the audio, then put them down, that was my reaction, I wasn't really mad at it, just disappointed, I myself haven't tried all the headsets that are said in reviews, but I wanted one, and that was because, and it may sound weird, but for me, I like to be immersed with the headset, feel the song, and what it has to show, something like a sony and audio technica headsets really blew me away with the audio, it something I have never heard that was really enhanced and is probably the reason why I wanted to get a great sounding headphone, and if I wanted to get something like that, without breaking the buck.
So what's my point then? I was kinda disappointed, for one who hasn't tried or heard the reputation of any brand and just tried them, I didn't like the bass, it's too much, it kinda makes the audio artificial even when hearing EDM (I like instruments but I'm more of an all-rounder, excluding trap, rap and hip hop), I know other people have different taste, mine being clarity and balanced audio, Videos like this just increases my doubts about beats over-ears and further sums up my opinion about beats headset, it's has too much bass, sub par build quality with a sound i don't particularly like, not to mention price, I'm not purposely trying to be a villain to those who personally like beats, I know some people do, but I want to point at others who have the same taste like me, I don't recommend the beats sadly...
Jiilaal I bought sen 4.4. No anc. Just for 60$ in Kuwait. I use Studio2 and bose qc15. Sen was so plain. May be that’s what the so called audiophiles like but beats are for the young and young at heart. Damn it, critics !

Just to let you know I had a rose gold pair for three years and the leather in the ear cups came off and the head band snapped (yes you heard that right SNAPPED) in fairness they still worked completely fine but I ran out of tape. I just got my new pair in pink and purple so I hope I’ll take better care of these.

Beware, exactly one year and a week after purchase my daughter's beats 3 wireless headphones started to cut out on the right side. Keep searching and you'll find this is very prevalent problem with these headphones. Apple has no compassion to fix it, even so close to the warrantee expiry. Replacement is $135 USD. We're in Canada so it's almost $200 CDN. For $300 initial purchase price you should be able to drop them off a building. Do not buy these poorly constructed, fragile, overpriced headphones unless you have lots of money to keep getting them fixed !!!!!

I got mine refurbished which at first I was skeptical of but I have now had them for about a year and got them at the low price of 150 dollars.

I got my solo3 beats a year ago, they were enjoyable at first, but 3 months later the rubber part on the headband started to fall off due to the crappy adhesive they used, need I remind you these headphones are $200. Another problem I had with my solo3s is that the audio jack was located in a place were it was near to impossible to plug in your headphone wires. If you want comfortable, high quality, and cheaper headphones I suggest getting a pair of skullcandy headphones
I just bought mine. The only negative I have is they are killing my ears! So tight that my ears sting after wearing them just a short time.

I’ve always wanted a pair so just got the solo3 at $119 for Black Friday. I’m used to headphones from $5-$20 & I am cheap so it took a lot for me to even purchase lol so obviously I am not spoiled with headphones. However, they are everything I’d ever want or need from a headphone and I’m so glad I made the purchase for what I paid.
I personally think, if you don't really care about the instant connectivity, I would recommend picking up Microsoft Surface 2 headphones. They provide better sound than Beats, they aren't too boomy and they don't block out other instruments for the replacement of bass. The price is $250 and the Beats are $200 but the extra $50 makes a big difference. They are also very very comfortable and are over-ear. They also don't horribly leak sound. They also have ANC unlike the beats and it blocks out noise pretty well. They last 20 hours I'm assuming with ANC on highest level and %50 volume.

I have the solo 3s and they sound good... but recently the right side doesn’t work anymore and i have to fiddle around with it to make it work
I've used the audio technica athm50 headphones. They run 150 on Amazon and are almost universally agreed to be the best on the market. I use them to edit and they work wonderful. If you get a pair, you should review those. Love your video brother. I agree with you on the overall quality of the beats. Uneven sound and far too bass heavy, aint no mumford and sons with those on my head. Not for me, i prefer a more balanced tone.

Mine lasted 8 months then I got the extremely common problems where they don't turn on and you get the red light. Even resetting them doesn't work.

Honest review about these beats. They are awful and produce sub $150 sound in my opinion. I have tried a pair of Taotronics ver thr eat which a fraction of the beat and sound a million times better. Just to show it's not all about the name of who wears them! I have been using B&O H8 for the past few years which I consider to be one the finest in the game.

I'm not sure about beats
This is really strange, some reviews say the solo 3's are really bassy and don't have much details in the mid's and high's, yet other reviews say it doesn't have that much low end bass and is quite detailed in the mids and highs! I've actually come to a conclusion after some experimentation that solo 3's sound as good as the source. For example, if you plug these solo 3's into a laptop with DAC you will hear that bass come through but if you play the same music via bluetooth it sounds totally different and not bassy and quite detailed. If I play the same song through a Sony XB headphones the bass is much stronger but no way near as detailed in the mids and highs as the solo 3's

You can just get cheaper headphones. It's well known that beats' "special sound" is nothing special and is really just normal EQ settings basically headphone has and is more of a gimmick.

I disagree with what the other people said because Beats' bass is artificially enhanced and doesn't feel natural. Bose will do you well.
IAmPeterCole thanks for the reply , actually I tried bose qc35 in the store and I felt that it lacked bass , I didn't feel my songs and the guy in the store told me that qc35 has more bass than the soundlink over ear (which I am gonna buy) I was dissapointed but maybe I am wrong after all . Then I tried the solo 3 the bass was actually good but my ear drums started to hurt after 5 mins . So , it is a hard choice :(

I just got new Beats Solo3 free for free new iPad as well as Apple Watch. Considering my old headsets were $12 I think for free I’ll be good with these. I mostly watch TH-cam videos on my iPads and iPad Pro as well as make videos I’m hoping the microphone is good enough if not I will just use the microphone on my iPad Pro it’s awesome
I like the Beats solo 3S they are nice looking and good sound headphones although I have them I also have Sony WH900 as my daily pair of Bluetooth headphones so the Beats aren’t my everyday headphones but they are very good I recommend them to friends and family
I tried these before. Not a bad headphone. But not worth 300. If it around $89 - $99 then its okay for the sound and build quality. $300 is really pushing it. My daily headphone still skullcandy crusher wireless and it cost no more than $199 (cheaper if on sale) and worth every penny. (fun headphone) Other times, I use HiFiMan HE400s, Philips Fidelio X2 and Edifier H850. Love them all. Sorry Beats.

Muggy Duke Skullcandy’s build quality is too cheap, and you don’t get the same level of support as you do with Apple-owned Beats. Although, Beats an be a bit cheap feeling too....

Beats bluetooth stopped working after a 1 year of use and the headpiece on the left side they easily broke. These headphones are not worth over 100 dollars if they wont last for years.
Own one, got free with iPhoneXS, its sound quality is very basic even as compared to my 60$ wired XB540 Sony headphones. Good compatibility with iPhone, and battery time, nothing else.

Who care about audio. I am a beats fan a long time sence i bought the first beat it was the beats in ear tour and i got the original beats studio. However i like heavy bass headphones and the new beats solo 3 is just find for me. As long the beats solo 3 got good deep low end bass i will buy the beats solo 3 because i love beats.

... I got mine about 1-2 years ago and the paint chipped of so easily,,, the muff part RIPPED for no reason at all, and on the left side of the headphone, some of the plastic that lets you fold it SNAPPED. I suggest that NO ONE gets these. Its a waste of money and doesnt last long whatsoever.
It's mainly ment for battery life

Joshua Moreno case is a little tight but it’s usually fine. I’ve had them for a year now, my other pair I’ve had for a year and 7 months but I wasn’t a fan of the colour so I got black too.
The fact that I’m replying means I’ve just had to change my earpads for the first time btw 😂

Once you are used to Beats, you cannot switch to German brands. You will feel that life has been taken away from your music. It’s because bass is accentuated. Purists who like ghazals/ western classics/ Bethoven, you won’t like Beats. Beats is for listening to latest pop music.

One thing thats never mentioned with beats is the fact that u can use ur phones universal equalizer to lower bass and adjust the mids etc. There bassy out the box but u can make them sound however u want them too they sound really good. I have the studio 3 wireless now. The one thing thats true is that there built cheap and that they will ware down over time like within a yr first is the cups or headband breaks definitely poorly manufactured.
The beats only looks nice otherwise it’s not the loudest

Yeah I don’t like the beats headphones that much cause I got the newest crusher wireless skull candy headphones and I gotta say they are much more worth it cause with the SC crusher wireless it’s extremely comfortable and it folds easier and tighter to and like the beats it might not be able to get Siri but it can change the song and it also has a great sounds dampener and when you take them off your ear with volume up it’s also a speaker to but what’s most incredible about mine is that there’s a slide on one side of the headphones that control the amount of base level for example if you want to listen to the song without a loud base you turn it all the way down but when you turn it all the way up the bass is louder but it’s still quit to where you can hear the entire song as well and you can hear anything low volume or high at peek perfection and when you have the bass all the way up it will even vibrate your headphones like it’s a first hand experience with bass and a really cool feature they have is the outside of the headphone because if you tap that part it will create its own kinda bass sound and those headphones have incredible battery life cause I use them around 8-14 hours a day and I won’t need to charge them about 1 or 2 weeks later and they run at around $200-$250 but it’s worth every dollar but that’s my really long opinion haha
