Ke has so much potential and I absolutely love it. The possibilities of connecting AI and a smart home are endless. I’m definitely subscribing and can’t wait to see how he uses this.
Thanks for this particular video. There were only two of the guys who I wasn't subscribed to and now their on the list, too. Everyone was great and there were a couple of ideas that I'm going to explore myself.
A great round up of creators and practical automations! I definitely saw some cool ideas I'm going to try out. Thanks for putting this together Shane! Looking forward to part 2! 👊🏽
That was a great video. It's just great, seeing so many different humans with similar interests and passions, bringing forward a new way of seeing the world. Thanks for putting this together, Shane.
Shane, this was great! Way to play the community organizer among the various creators. I loved seeing Brad Lloyd kick it off as I am a big fan of his channel and approach. My only complaint? Eric totally ripped off my use of an outside warning light and an inside replicator light! 😂. I also follow Eric so I’m only ribbing him. Looking forward to part 2.
Can you please share information on what Blinds/Shades do @Craigstalk use? I am keen to install a Honeycomb blind that work with apple 😕 Appreciate the assistance :)
@CraigsTechTalk is using the SmartWings Honeycomb shades in this one. He's also using SwitchBot curtains and Blind Tilts. Lutron Serena also sells honeycomb shades that work with Apple Home, but they are more expensive than SmartWings.
Uh-oh! Anyone else feel a sense of shame or guilt while watching Shane’s video and some of the others popped in? 😂 For those that are looking for an even better way to wake try the app “Sleep Cycle”. I’ve used it for years. It senses your sleep stage and will gently nudge you awake while your at the top or lightest part of your sleep cycle. No more being jarred awake by alarms while you’re in the deepest phase. You can chose the timeframe that you want to wake up, say 15 minutes, and it will slowly turn on Phillips lights or open your shades and/or start playing quiet music that you choose then turn up the volume with each time you hit the snooze. Great content as always Shane!
Hey @beardfm - instead of a selection in your Watch Something automation... you could borrow from Shane and use a NFC tag to trigger the automation per room... attach the tag to your remote or somewhere in each room. 🙂
I have to say that these automations are not even close in terms of innovation and creativity to most of the ones submitted by the viewers. Love all of these creators anyway
I asked them all for their favorite automations. Many of my favorite and most useful automations are the simple ones. Doesn’t always have to be super complex or innovative to make a big impact on your daily life.
and …. what is special about it now? Grandma has been able to do that since Apple Home was around. The fact is that here the bosses only pass the balls to each other because you don't get anything new yourself anymore ... that's how you earn ...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Huge thanks to everyone that contributed to this video!
Links to everyone’s TH-cam channel is in the video description! Subscribe to them all! 😃

Good idea for a video, I can’t seem to do the room selection thing the last person done, what am I doing wrong?

Thank you for sharing good technology

Way to basic!
No women on the list? How weird
Would love to include some! Please feel free to share any female smart home TH-camrs that you would like to recommend.
