Great video Luke! That Alex Mill suit looks fantastic. I’d add Stan Ray into the mix for a slightly more workwear vibe, or Buzz Rickson for a more vintage/repro look!
Whenever I hear "high-rise" I think "mid-waist" trousers. Back in the 1930s high rise used to be above the belly button, now it's slightly bellow or at.
Great selection. I bought a pre-owned pair from 45rpm. I am curious how they compare to drakes. Also I think olive/ecru carpenter pants ALD could have gone well with your list.
Paying 100 + dollars for pants you can walk into a military surplus store and buy a deadstock 100% cotton military issued pair of for about 35 bucks is crazy
I don’t think I can rock cargos. Reminds me of my younger days in 90s/early 00s. Still feel a bit naff. Army green trousers with pleats will do me fine.

Cheers Andy! Both great shouts 🙌🏻
I really like the idea of breaking this rule. Its alot of fun. Even in some Longwing brogues it breaks all the rules..
I just bought a military style navy shorts from The Gap (Ripstop Utility Short)! Great pick up. Would love to see you do a video on watches!
I’ve been think about doing a watch video, just trying to cover all price points but I have a few ideas
Where is that suede over shirt you’re wearing from? It looks stunning!
Cheers mate, it’s from Reiss

I often get clients who think the same when I recommend a higher waisted trouser, it takes some convincing that there’s a difference 😂
@@LukeHodges It gets quite confusing for me tbh. lol
Try the Orslow fatigue pants.
I agree and they are amazing. The summer fatigue are super light for the heat
Slim though
Had to pick up those Alex Mill pants after seeing them here. Hoping they fit as well as they look

Great suggestion! I was looking at the ALD ones the other day, really like them

I would actually just go with a pair from arashi denim. It is the best price/quality ratio for military trousers imo
Thanks for the rec!

That’s a solid alternative for sure!
