    I'm not even really interested in fashion all that much, but the fact that you cover the different fits & fabric types so well makes this video an invaluable resource as someone who doesn't have any carhartt retailers nearby and doesn't want to have to return $70 work pants.

    For those who may not know, carhartt make fantastic insulated pants for the winter months. They look like regular jeans, pants, or workpants but they come available in a range of lining, such as quilt, flannel, etc

    The Rigby Dungaree reminds me of a sailor's pant. I wouldn't purchase one for my personal use, but the wide boot cut and shorter length remind me for use out to sea.

    Just came up on hella new work pants from Carhartt in Orlando! Passed by the premium outlets this weekend. Just replaced the same pants I wore for 3 years, with countless 12 hour shifts, 6 week days.
    The BN4495-M is my favorite work pant by them. Framing/carpentry, demo and concrete luring, they’re great. Awesome video and I hope more people use them for their purpose to see how extreme they can get!!

    How are the durability of these pants compared to dickies? So far Dickies have proven to be the strongest pants I've worn. Jeans used to be super strong, but because of consumerism, they have taken a huge dive in durability.
    BTW thanks for making these videos that shows what they look like while being worn and showing the differences.

      Carhartt’s overall quality is way better than dickies’s. And you can tell that from their price tags of course. the B01 made by carhartt is very strong& stiff and like can never be worn out. If you are looking for a pants that can last long regardless of the price. I highly recommend you the B01.

    You didn't include what fit each pair were. Carhartt has loose, relaxed (standard), straight, and skinny. So for example, you could buy the same pant in a variety of fits. This is the biggest issue for me with carhartt. I like slimmer jeans, but they need to be open enough for my cowboy boots.

    I know this is asking a lot but my hips measure exactly 32” and my waist is a little smaller. Would I get 32” pants or do they run small and I don’t want to wash them and have them shrink or something. I was thinking maybe I should get them a little bigger and just use a belt and wash them but I’m not sure because I don’t have a lot of pants to work with and get an estimated guess. I don’t understand why pants don’t just run exactly on the size of your hips.

      Rigby and Dungaree I don’t know why I accidentally typed Twill

    • @MensFashionFiles
      @MensFashionFiles  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Twill is made from 100% ring spun cotton. Ring spun cotton is made by twisting and thinning the cotton strands to make a very fine, strong, soft rope of cotton fibers making this more durable than regular cotton
      Rigby is made from 98% cotton/2% spandex canvas so it is a plain woven fabric and not ring spun. Rigby will give you more stretch because of the cotton and spandex blend.

      @@MensFashionFiles My twill dungarees arrived the other day and sheeeesh the 32 length is so different from my other 32 length pants, probably because the fit is so loose. They're different than what I'd usually be wearing but I'm going to keep them since they were only $15 on Amazon and it'll force me to style myself a bit different.

      You mean "a size bigger"? I would assume hes refering to the even numbered inch system so common in America. That or an inch bigger

    Lost respect for Carhartt when I learned they will not put in the effort to ship out of the lower 48! A whole lot of Working Americans in Hawaii, Alsaska, Guam and PR!
