      @@randys.8941 thanks Randy. I have the 13.5” for those long two-up trips that really makes a world of difference in a 500 mile trip. Thanks again for watching

    would you mind giving an update on how you like the 12", do you like the look? Do you wish it was shorter? Pros/Cons etc.? I kinda wish they had a 10", from pictures it kinda looks big but so does the front fairing in pictures and I love it in person

      I love it but after the road sofa, it’s much more comfortable with the 13.5” than the 12”. I almost feel that I’m giving up the sporty look so I have my name in the hat for the new 10” klockwerks sport that’s coming out in August.
      I ride without a helmet sometimes and the 12” hits me right at eye level. With the 13.5 I can almost ride without eye protection. If you going to do a lot of long trips then do the investment of either the 12 or 13.5”. Stereo plays great and not so tiring at the end of the day.

      @dadsgaragehd thank you so much for reply, I'm still riding with the stock windshield, which is barely anything, and always wear a full face, after about 3 hrs today on the freeway it wasn't horrible but I'm in the market for an upgrade, also have saddleman step up seat and sit about 5'11", I've always had that looks and functionality battle with parts, as I really do love the sporty look of the RG, thanks again for the super fast comment, safe riding.

    Hey brother what is the measurement from the top of the windshield to the top of the bike as your seating on it?

    • @dadsgaragehd
      @dadsgaragehd  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I hope that i am answering you correctly. Its about 8.25" from the top of the windshield to the top of the fairing /bottom of the vent. With my road sofa and me being 6'-1" my nose is about even with the top of the windshield while riding.

    Is the right side determined from standing in front of the bike and facing it or sitting on the bike and looking forward?

      @dadsgaragehd  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the question. The right side is the brake side and left side is the clutch side.

    Hi, how tall are you and can you see over it?

    • @dadsgaragehd
      @dadsgaragehd  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I’m 6’1” and I can easily see over the 12”. I also have the 13.5” and can see over that one as well. They say 5’ 9” and under should buy the 12”
      I changed the seat to the Saddlemen RS and that sat me up an inch or so higher which means using the 12”, the wind hits me just above my eyebrows and using the 13.5” its over my head.

    The one you took off, was it stock or an HD upgrade?

    • @dadsgaragehd
      @dadsgaragehd  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey Lous-Clues, thanks for the question. No that was an attempt to relieve. That was a 4-1/2” windsplitter from HD. I have like 4 windshields for this bike right now. Lol.
      Thanks for watching
