As a resident of poonch kashmir , I genuinely hated him and his family , he was in power for 6 years what has he done for us , his party is winning elections this time around coz of the alliance but the more i started to explore him the more i like him , he is definitely not as bad as i used to think , may the coalition win and this state prosper , all of my family voted for his party and most prolly will win .

Dearest Samdish, in some interviews you just flow- it is like personification of Lao Tzu's philosophy of WU WEI ( EFFORTLESS ACTION ). Honestly, never felt such whole-some experience watching an interview. Kudos to honest and 'guards down' approach of Mr. Omar. I wish this was a norm in politics. Could seem like a hyperbole- but this was equivalent of watching a film unfold. A complete cinematic joy. It had everything passion and love of supporters, vulnerability of protagnist(Mr. omar )- his losses and fears, along with his hopes and joy, and of course trivial antics of dearest host, and yes, violence on poor bonnet :)( editing to write this also had guest appearance of Mr. Farooq Abdullah). Elements of all blockbuster. Above all, this was earnest to the core. That is all that matters, in life, I guess- if one is earnest and honest - it just comes through, whatever you do. In today's politics - where most things are posturing and scheming is seen as virtue, this small interview/campaign trail was A BREATH OF FRESH AIR( sorry for using cliche but it really was refreshing). As a teen I remember a fiery speech in lok sabha from a small party member who did not get enough minutes to speak. It was the nuclear deal issue. Captivated since then with the articulation skills.

I liked it when Omar talked about VIP culture, and Samdesh asked whether Omar had played video games. Omar just went with the flow and talked about video games he had played. In a state like Kashmir, where the general population could not even afford education for several reasons, Omar's childhood and youth seemed very VIP to me, to be honest.

I liked it when Omar talked about VIP culture, and Samdesh asked whether Omar had played video games. Omar just went with the flow and talked about video games he had played. In a state like Kashmir, where the general population could not even afford education for several reasons, Omar's childhood and youth seemed very VIP to me, to be honest.
You should watch his last interview I guess they talked about that
