Chelsea Super-Five Radio Series - Part 2 - 1925 Later Version Restoration

The Chelsea Radio Company 1925 Super-Five Later Version radio was a step towards the metal chassis Super-Five that would become their main radio in 1926. The transformers and coils were moved to the bottom of the wooden chassis and there were a couple of minor changes to the circuitry. The restoration on a 1925 Super-Five later version is a bit more complex, and not very user friendly when trying to get to components on the under side of the chassis. But those issues would be addressed with the 1926 version. This restoration had it's challenges, as a former restorer covered everything in Lacquer. All of it had to be removed before issues like rodent damage, and non-Chelsea components could be addressed. Follow along in Part 2 of this series as we do a complete tear-down and Restore.
