Hi Ash, if I just want to do shop and pay and I dont want to receive any orders for food deliveries and uber X . How we can do that? And can you share your preference selected on uber app
If you check this tutorial video th-cam.com/video/StCbYhiZz8Q/w-d-xo.html it shows you how to disable and enable shop and pay.. Instead of disabling shop and pay just disable deliveries.
Question for you.I live in winnipeg and shop and pay is new here.If an item is out of stock I can only do a replacement if the customer approves. If the customer doesn't respond I have to refund.Totally different from instacart where we can replace items without customer approval. What do you do when customer doesn't respond? Do you just refund? I don't like refunding but I haven't had pay deducted as a result so I guess it's okay.Unlike instacart where we lose money for items refunded.New subscriber by the way.
Very sorry for this late reply! Apparently TH-cam put your comment in the "review bin" and I've been on vacation for a few days so I didn't see it. So to answer pretty much. I just refund since apparently with Uber shop and pay we don't have much choice. I do wait around 5-10 minutes and try to get the other stuff done in the meantime but otherwise yeah I refund.
Exactly Ash and that's what people to be on the look out for before accepting orders if it's in an area with bad cell reception i don't take order from there because again 1. Uber cheats won't let you start the delivery most of the time and 2. If you're lucky to actually start the delivery it will not show you the customers dropoff location it will just send you driving around in circles then the next thing you know you're back at the pickup location. That's why there's a near by town i don't take any orders from because i absolutely refuse to waste my time and gas just to drive around in circles. So, if possible people need to remember the areas that have bad cell phone reception and just remember not to take any orders in that location.
The only thing I like about Instacart is that there is full tip transparency. The doubles are still bad becaue they pair a tipping order with a non-tipping customer order Can you please advise on why the items icons are not very clear or blurry when there are fewer than 5 items? If the order has multiple items you can swipe to move the item icons and the icons are very clear, so you know what items you are picking?
So basically it's my screen recording app. It's in 720p because otherwise my laptop can't render that kind of long format screen resolution. It causes images to not be as clear sadly
Hi, glad to get acquainted with your channel 🙋♀️ I can't register with Doordash food , writes that there are enough drivers Winning Maybe there's a link for new drivers how to register
Hey Ariana , sorry for the delay I didn't see this comment. Unfortunately there isn't a way to speed it up. I had similar issues with Uber and Skip here. When they free up space is when we can start.
Fun fact. Your voice comes more predominantly from the right side for headphone users in this particular video :) One thing that I noticed where I live, not Uber but a competition, no matter what they just won't take egg orders. I tried more than once and they just downright reimburse me and send me everything else. Okay, they rely heavily on bikers for delivery, but I started to wonder if that's a norm because eggs are very fragile.
I had my best ever instacart offer yesterday. I usually use instacart as slow time filler . Most weeks i take 1 or 2 deliverys. Offered $25 for 2.5 miles 17 items. I never get that good of a offer. I try to get at least one a week to show activity. I haven't taken a two location delivery. I usually take a couple item order for low miles for around $10. Why I don't do many orders.
If a customer wants to add an item or two but cannot I offer to pay for it on my own. They are always thrilled I’m willing to go above and beyond and usually pay 3-4x what I spent on their extras as a sign of appreciation. You lock up a good rating, do a good deed and get paid extra for it. Win win.
Hey Ash! That good to see your glasses again 😘 can you tell me that if there is any option to only select the area I wanna do the Uber eats delivery, I mean I don’t wanna go to downtown Toronto because of parking problems? Thank you
Uber doesn't make you sign up for markets. You can just drive wherever you want and work whenever you need to so if you don't want to work in the city , simply don't go to it.
Hey Ash...I just started my first experience delivering with Uber a few days ago in North Toronto, and the orders I'm getting are so bad. For both food deliveries and shop & pay orders, rarely do I get anything that pays more than the distance required to complete the order. Is this normal?? The best order I received was a shop & pay order for $13 (app said it includes customer tip) that covered 10kms, with an estimated time of completion of about an hour. Because there were about 30 items in the order & the lack of timely communication from the customer, I ended spending close to 2 hours completing it!!
Sadly with Shop and Pays now yes it's common because Uber is super known now for Shop and Pay orders that it's over saturated with too many low paying offer clients. Sadly the good ones are just hard to find. There are good ones though out there.
At 2:30 a.m. I accepted a $37 order at Taco Bell. It was closed. I called support, was given $3. All day long, I have called, filed a fare review and chatted with support in circles. Repeating my concern at least 25 times. I asked what the supplement was, and I was met with no answer. I asked for a supervisor to call me back. I am still waiting
When you request for a supervisor, do it before 8pm local time and ask for one live. They never honour call back requests but great job about the trip supplement. I literally did that last night. A $17 KFC order for 4km...Restaurant had no chicken. Called support they gave me $3 I told them that wasn't good enough and that I knew there was a supplement involved, got transferred to a a manager and I got $10 more on top of it. I took that because the remaining $4 of tip made sense to me. Get a live manager, you'll go much farther.

Appreciate this comment! Yes knowing if the connection is strong or not is super important can make or break your day too
Thanks ash and yep that's why I deliberately reject order from restaurants that I know are in an area with bad cell phone reception.

🥳🥳🥳Doordash food, work in my
How are you constantly getting order from Uber
Oh I'm not lol I have too much down time in between that's why I only use Uber as part time income

Why did you have to figure out that my microphone is broken from the left side and I edited it in post to balance ? 😂😅
I just use the bags at the register, which are like 5 cents each here now :P You're lovely
Exactly! That's exactly it, haha lovely is definitely a thing on this channel!
I love it, its a nice send off. @@DashWithAshinCanada
That was neat to see Ash! Good work. Russ🛒
Thanks a lot Russ!

If you can get the good offers, I think your way is a very effective way to make Instacart work in your favour.

@@DashWithAshinCanada thanks
I wish Uber eats was as busy as Door dsah in my area. I would do Uber eats more.
I wish DoorDash was busy more and had better offers and I'd do DoorDash orders lol
@@DashWithAshinCanada That is funny.

@@DashWithAshinCanada Thank you very much! Your videos helped guide me. I am going to call again. It's like we are wrestling our money from them!
I've kind of stopped using door dash because uber just offers more opportunity.
Looks like you and I are more in a Uber Eats market together.
I guess so! :)@@DashWithAshinCanada

I couldnt make gold with UE because i didnt have enough thumbs up what a joke
I agree because their perks aren't very beneficial even to begin with. I understand they want top customer service but they don't deliver much perks
