Is the typing experience good? I mean if you compared it to T420, The T420 has a bigger palm rest and I think if you got a bigger palm-rest then more comfortable the typing experience you can get. or The X220 typing experience is good too? (no matter what the palm-rest size is) Because I want a lightweight laptop but still want to have a good typing experience.
Unfortunately, I haven't experienced the T420, so I can't compare it. I think x220 is good. I can hear a bit of iron core sound, but it's okay among laptops.
@@hwax5370 yes, wanna see, please give your review about keyboard also...and most of the people said the palmrest is small, coz im planning to buy an x220 refurbished in a couple of days
That is the cleanest X220 I have ever seen.
bruh xD
First thought as well after just opening this video. This person sure knows how to take care of things.
man I wish all laptops had this keyboard
I hope ^^

watching this on my x220
I miss x220 ㅠㅠ
i whit t450s ☺
i wish my t480s had a keyboard like that. probably gonna buy an x220 or another thinkpad with that kind of keyboard for the heck of it
If the retro model comes out again
I think it'll be fun
Do you make some change on this laptop like upgrade SSD, RAM, CPU, the display? That display screen looks so bright and clean to me
HDD -> SSD 850pro 256
RAM 4gb -> + 4gb
CPU , Display = original
do you know which latest thinkpad series that is still using this kind of keyboard layout? the aging cpu really prevents me to get this one
This is the last thing I know.
X230 is different from this.
The latest ones are pretty good, too.
Correct me if im wrong, but the last thinkpad that use this keyboard is X220 and T420.
Here list thinkpad can use x220 keyboard:
Lenovo Thinkpad T400s
Lenovo Thinkpad T410
Lenovo Thinkpad T410i
Lenovo Thinkpad T410s
Lenovo Thinkpad T420
Lenovo Thinkpad T420i
Lenovo Thinkpad T420s
Lenovo Thinkpad T510
Lenovo Thinkpad T520
Lenovo Thinkpad T520i
Lenovo Thinkpad W510
the x230 can be retrofitted with this keyboard, and if you have the skill you can buy a motherboard for it with a quad core i7
well if size doesnt matter a W520 also has this keyboard and has enough power for today
cool
good
Having windows on x220 is the greatest sin you can imagine
I'm still using q9550 + windows !!
