If you're satisfied with the purity, you don't have to do it. After that, it gets soft overall.

im asking cause i lubed my graywood v4 and they turn way more thocky and less clacky
@@pedrokz There's a difference. The pure switch produces a fine spring sound if you listen closely. The sound of the spring disappears, and the sound is lowered. It's a personal feeling..

Did you feel much difference between lubed and stock? Do you think it's worth lubing them?
I can feel the difference. The sound and pressing feel soft. I lubricated it because the fine spring sound bothered me. If you feel any noise or creaking, lubricate it.
I know buying this MacBook is a bad decision, but I really want it, I really love this model. (Actually using a 2015 15" MBP as main machine)

Does it feel mushy? Are there any silent switches but still have tactile feedback?
It feels hard, bouncy and tactile.
Have it for few days on reaper axis. Love the sound, but it's actually quite hard to type on. I mean the pressure is quite hight. Got leobog on leobog gray wood v3 and typing feels much lighter and faster.

those are great in my opinion. u can take em with u along with a wireless mouse in your backpack, they make little noise and are compact.
SW is very good in Mac and Windows environments. Especially Flow. I'm using it with Anywhere 3.

logi tech keyboards aren't good in my opinion I prefer wooting keyboards now

Are you still using the x220?
why you lookin for one, bro? I have one with 16gigs, IPS upgrade, repasted and running @ good thermals in condition almost as clean as the one in this video. I like it as a typist, I'm not gonna lie, the keyboard is the best feature.
I don't have it now I miss it, but now I'm using the 2011 MacBook Air.

The keyboard on your X230 looks really clean or maybe it's the light angle that is making the unit look more greyish than the usual tuxedo black. Do you happen to know which vendor it is? Like CHY, LTN or SRX.
And what is that wedge in between your PgUp & left arrow / PgDn & right arrow?

The vendor that made the keyboard, like Chicony, Lite On or Sunrex. And the wedge maybe it’s the camera angle. I don’t see it in between the up and down arrow keys. You still using the X230 in 2023?
I don't know the keyboard manufacturer. There is nothing between the two keys. Unfortunately, I don't have it now.

No, it's the microphone noise. It's because I filmed with my cell The laptop is quiet.

Do you make some change on this laptop like upgrade SSD, RAM, CPU, the display? That display screen looks so bright and clean to me
HDD -> SSD 850pro 256 RAM 4gb -> + 4gb CPU , Display = original
That is the cleanest X220 I have ever seen.
