    Bro Hamza, given the following he himself has and the work he has done in dawah to Islam and debates with atheists etc, the fact that he remained silent and listened to shamsi without interrupting and asked him for advice, just shows his sincerity may Allah bless him.

He still claimed taqleed to the Madhab of the Imam of ahl Us Sunnah, Imam Ahmad. Imam Ahmad was from the Salaf, as was Imam Malik, Imam Abu Hanifah and Imam Ash Shafi'i May Allah bless them all. As for aqeedah that should be of the salaf i.e the correct beliefs and that will come by following Qur'an sunnah and salaf
      As for madhab ,we follow any madhab according to the authenticity of the madhab in a particular situation in terms of which has the strongest opinion ,closest to the sunnah and so on .
      We are not madhab fanatics.

    Salafi Publications was set up in the mid-1990s as a publishing house and online digital platform. Its immediate goal at the time was to counter the extremist currents of the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwanis), the Quṭbists and the Surūrists, as well as the Taḥrīris, all of whom were carrying and operating upon the doctrines of the Khārijites of takfīr and khurūj. It was realised that these doctrines, by their very nature, only one have one inevitable outcome-as known through sound Islāmic creed as well as the lessons of history-and that is bloodshed and chaos. Al-Qaeda and ISIS were the eventual results of that doctrine that was revived by the likes of Ḥasan al-Bannā, Abū Aʾlā Mawdūdī, Sayyid Quṭb in the 20th century. Through those activities Salafi Publications have experience and expertise in counter-extremism and counter-radicalisation at the ideological and grass-roots levels.
    In addition, Salafi Publications, through its publishing activities, aims to present the authentic, orthodox teachings of Islām, free of both extremism and neglect, in all the various fields of knowledge and practice.

    I followed Speakers Corner debates every week mainly to learn about discxusions/arguements with others from different faith. I never thought this salafi/wahabi/assyairah issue etc being discussed over there. Dont start going into my madhzhab is right, your interpretation is wrong and then it will lead to takfiiri and so on. We muslim has suffered a lot from this division. As long as we keep it towards academic discussion, it should be fine. We suffer from that over here too in Malaysia.

    Abrahamic faiths is another term for Ahlul Kithab ie in modern day English. It's not an issue of Aqeeda. It's an English term coined to mean "those" who ascribe themselves to "Abraham" (Ibrahim AS). Just because someone might ascribe himself to Abraham it doesn't mean we are endorsing that ascription by using this term.

      If the foetus miscarries before four months (i.e. before 120 days), then it is not given a name nor is an ‘aqeeqah carried out. The ‘aqeeqah and naming is for the foetus that is miscarried in the fifth month or thereafter, (i.e. after 120 days) and this is after the soul is blown into it - because at this stage it is considered a person, which carries the rulings of a person.

    I think issue of this was not the fact that spubs criticised Muhammad Minir, but the way in which it was done.

    May Allah guide us all.

    • @hussaingani
      @hussaingani 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Excuse me but the criticism is in its rightful place because Muneer opened the door for people to get their Aqeedah corrupted, which is a doorway to disbelief. You have to take into consideration everything regarding what was said, it's context, it's meaning, it's affect on others, the benefits and harms by weighing it upon the scales of the methodology of the salaf. If you read the books/articles of refutation you will find that "spubs" are mild compared to the Salaf.
      So don't come here trying to show that spubs were harsh because it shows you don't know the severity of the issue at hand.
