Felt like i should inform you Seb, that there is in fact, 1 more theatrical Transformers movie The Transformers: The Movie It was released in 1986 and explains what happened in between seasons 2 and 3 of the very first Transformers cartoon. The main antagonist, is a Planet Eater, who was (poorly) set up for in The Last Knight, and was the final role of acclaimed actor Orson Wells. I don't really want to give away more than that though, because i for one, want to see your unfiltered reactions to it.
So just a bit of backstory about this movie's development: Originally it meant to be a prequel to the Bayformer universe and would have involved Bumblebee fighting nazis in WW2. They even had a bit where you would have seen the frozen Megatron from the first movie. However, with the Bayformers earning less and less money with each movie, they decided to pivot. Instead, they turned it into a full-on reboot of the series with Bay being the producer. The previous designs would be scrapped and instead replaced with more faithful designs similar to their G1 appearances (except for Bee who retained his appearance from the Bayformers). I'm not sure if this is true or just fan speculation, but it's been said there was originally going to be more scenes set on Cybertron.
@@-Antagonist It's not confusing. There's nothing about it that could indicate them being set in the same universe. It's pretty clear Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts are set in their own universe separate from the Bayverse. I would be surprised if they were somehow connected. Edit after RotB second trailer: I rest my case.
I remember watching this in theatres with my family, all of us agreed that the opening battle on cybertron was PERFECT, can’t believe this film is nearly 5 years old…
These aren’t really G1 it’s more of a middle ground between G1 and Michael bay designs which is honestly how I think it should be even though I thought most of the Michael bay decepticons looked cooler(Blackout my beloved)

I sense an old fart stock in the 80's that only seen that transformers cartoon in the 80's and never seen any other transformer media and other series where they already evolve and change from there cube as look.
The way Charlie finds Bumblebee in the junk yard is reminiscent of the very first Transformers story in which a character called Buster Witwicky finds a injured Bumblebee and takes him home to be repaired in the first few issues of the Marvel Transformers comic in 1984.
The reason I loved this film the most (aside from the first Bay film which was awesome for other reasons), is that the Transformers looked similar to the original toys I used to have back in the 80's, where they were mostly made of metal and were quite hefty.
This movie was set a year after the actual release of the Transformers animated movie (with a fantastic theme song). The song that briefly played on the beach when Bee opened his front door was from that. But yeah, I've yet to even tolerate a full watch of The Last Knight, but Bumblebee is great.

This movie is fantastic, only thing that I don’t like is how they treated Peter Cullen (the voice of Optimus Prime). He’s a legendary voice actor, iconic, and a very nice guy. But when it came time to film this movie they didn’t want to pay him for the whole production so instead the hired an impersonator and used his facial movements to animate Optimus Prime’s mask and face, and they brought in Peter at the very end of production to essentially dub over the previous work so that they barely had to pay him. It’s pretty messed up, that’s why I’m happy he got lots more lines and better treatment in Transformers Rise of the Beast

This movie really brought back my faith as a hardcore Transformers fan. Soundwave's design and voice is everything to me. Don't know if you noticed but the guy that likes Hailee in the movie is the guy that does the announcements or whatever in the MCU Spider-Man movies, just a small fact I didn't notice when I watched this movie
As much as I appreciate the Bayverse, rebooting the series is a good idea for the franchise in general, fewer and fewer people were spending money to watch the Michael Bays version of Transformers, which was an indication that people were fatigued of the transformers, and both Hasbro and Paramount had to change something to keep the franchise healthy and moving forward. Rebooting it and giving the project of the next movie to a different person's hands can give nostalgia, to current, and casual fans a new experience and perspective towards the franchise.
24:24 Memo has a Tom Baker as the fourth Doctor poster from Doctor Who on his wall. Both Doctor Who and Transformers had Marvel US/UK Comics in the eighties and nineties.

I love this movie a lot. I won't claim it's five-star best picture Oscar worthy material, but it's got a lot of heart AND cleverness. And the human's ACTUALLY have a pretty logical counter to use for it! Plus, this is one name drop away from being a stealth GI Joe crossover/prequel so you have to appreciate that. You got the best movie reaction videos man! You are the only one I keep coming back to, lol! Means you are doing something right, keep it up dude!Best Transformers movie in my opinion! Dark of the Moon is second favorite! Have a feeling Rise of the Beasts will top Bumblebee, but we will have to see!
So, what did you think of Rise of the Beasts?
@@custommediacreations absolutely loved it!
@@MorightProductions Same Here, though the 90s hip hop in the end battle was a bit out of place for me.
@@custommediacreations Wasn't too bad! I made a music video with that song if you are interested! It's the most popular video I have!
Ah yes. The “perfect” Transformers movie we’ve been waiting for!
That Bee can buzz on my flower 🐝🌻
dylan o'brien as bumblebee is still the best thing ever
Less action and more story/emotion is actually closer to what the cartoons were like. You would think that a cartoon about transforming car/robots wouldn't need story, but the cartoon did have quite a bit of it.
This movie is a reboot btw and the next film that comes out is branching of this movie
You should watch Kubo and the two strings as it was directed by the same guy that did this. It’s fantastic. So glad you loved Bumblebee
I hope there’s a Bumblebee 2
This whole video was amazing, but not gonna lie you're a real one for that "putting Ashley into the bin every 5 seconds" comment. IT KIIIIIIILLED ME. 😂😂
When the movie was rather new, if you had searched for the word bumblebee. Normally you think you would find the animal, but instead this movie showed up, which felt so awesome. So the biggest and most “important” search result with a shown Wikipedia page, was this movie. How cool isn’t that?
To answer your question, there is a Transformers 3-D ride at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
That and its adjacent park Islands of Adventure are also where you'll find The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is AMAZING.
If you're ever planning a trip, hit me up. I'd love to be your guide. I know both parks like the back of my hand.
To answer your question about like halfway through, yes, you can see Transformers at Universal Studios!
I loved how this movie was full of OG Cartoon designs
it was just nice seeing that Camaro in good condition
This movie was genuinely great tbh.
Just an WFI, this movie isn't canon to the Bay films
PS. The truck on the Golden Gate Bridge at the end is Optimus
Oh seb in case no one said it shatter( the red decepticon) is voiced by Angela basset! Queen romanda herself!
