Or "One shall stand, one shall fall"? But sure, Bay never referenced G1 I guess.
As a die hard Transformers fan, I cannot put into perspective how much good Bumblebee did for the franchise in terms of perception. It brought a fresh take to the films and I absolutely adored any of the scenes with Shatter and Dropkick especially. Whilst I don’t think ROTB is as good as Bumblebee, they’re both still a nice change of pace from the slog that was the bayverse.
yeah bumblebee is better than RoTB but i still really enjoyed both... also both had likeable humans i didnt mind spending time with which was insane, considering the bay films RoTB was just kinda wonky on execution in a few spots and had some obvious twists, but the villain and hero designs were good (and airazor done supremely dirty) and the action was solid enough. definitely a sign they're not totally sure what precisely to do with the transformers movies just yet tho
Hearing Soundwave's voice was pure bliss. Shame Rise of the Beasts didn't bring back most of the cast (except Wheeljack who doesn't even look like Wheeljack anymore).
Charlie is such a genuinely engaging depiction of how grief can rob you of the joys in your life. Charlie isn't quitting diving, struggling with car repairs, and hiding her dad's music collection simply cuz "sad cuz dad ded". These were things she shared with him when he was alive, and now that he's gone, she feels as if she can't do those things anymore, as it would be the final nail in her father's coffin so to speak. Accepting that he's gone, and to her, that feels like a betrayal. Thats why she's so aggressive towards her family who have already moved on, it isn't just angst. She can't let go, which is stopping her from living.
Hailee Steinfeld did so well in this film. This is the first time in a Transformers movie where I was actually invested and understanding of the main character. The team truly did a good job in that regard. It’s too bad PH couldn’t really focus on that. Side note: Best underrated moment was when Charlie got the “Smile” book for her birthday. That book basically represented the pain of holding onto grief while others try to tell you to ignore it or drop it like that’s an easy or healthy thing to do. Plus, that message connects to the microaggression of telling women that they should “smile more” and “stay positive,” which inherently disregards personal feelings and contributes to a culture of objectification. Feels kinda fitting that this would show up in the 80s, when those concepts were still starting to be challenged. Perfect foil to the dreaded Texas statute, and proof that Bumblebee has something meaningful to offer (unlike the Bayverse)
@@SomebodywithaTH-camaccount the "smile" book that charlie got made my blood boil for 2 seconds, it was frustrating to see how dismissive the family was to the father's death
So we all know that Bumblebee was supposed to be a prequel and that actually explained Blitzwing's appearance on Earth. what many people don't know is that there was a prequel comic to the film where it was revealed that Blitzwing had landed on earth 1964 and they would occasionally fight over the years. That's why his "Did you think you could hide" line was so aggressive. Because it was the climax to a 20 year rivalry.
@@themightykv-5410, I just thought that Bumblebee landed on Earth in 1987, and that Blitzwing came after him almost immediately after landing. But them being there since 1964? They didn't elude to that sort of time jump at all in the movie, which is why I was confused.
@@occam7382 I'd assume it was like how you described it. This new canon hasn't confirmed he was here since the 60s, hell they haven't even confirmed if that was blitzwing instead of some generic decepticon.
"Bumblebee, stop *bleep*ing the man." **split second of agonized wailing** I think this edit nearly killed me and the fact it came out of nowhere, went as soon as it came, and wasn't acknowledged afterwards just made it so much better.
The thing about the designs is that. It's not even just about fan service to Gen1 Transformers. But rather that you can actually tell them apart. They all have a bit of personality to their designs and colors. Its very helpful in not having a screen full of visual vomit.
My dad grew up heavily on g1, gi joe, jem and the holograms, thundercats, you name it and all that sort of passed on to me as well, when I learned about the g1 movie I watched it once a week religiously on my mom’s computer after school, before bed, and overnight. I ended up losing that disc and haven’t been able to watch a sliver of g1 for a long time until it started airing on the hub. But, seeing g1 characters on the big screen for the first time really touched a part of me and the flood of emotions while sitting in that theater was everything
If only Steven Caple Jr. rewrote Joby Harold’s draft wholesale since all of the stuff I liked seemed to have come from him (along with being a good filmmaker who so happens to have grown up and loved both the G1 and Beast Wars iterations of Transformers).
What i liked about this movie is that they really go into the transformation aspect of transformers. Like how bee shifts his body to fit into the house, or how he has his arm out in car mode. I think the only series to really do that was animated.
4:02 No joke, that was literally me in the theater when this film dropped in theaters. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I never believed that Paramount would actually adapt the G1 designs on the big screen. Yet there I was, on the verge of screeching like a fangirl in pure joy and ecstasy.
I recall talking with another transformer fan that just seen the movie on how i wasnt that much interested because the bay movies killed my drive with transformers and he look at me and goes "you said soundwave is your fav right? What if i told you he has the same voice acting, designe and lines as gen 1 while launching his wolfs?", next day i was having a fangirl attack alongside my dad watching it on theaters. This movie reminded me why i love transformers.
I'll say this: Shatter and Dropkick should be adapted into more things. They genuinely feel like they were bickering just out of frame for the last forty years and finally got to star in one of the films.
And then the two of them get blown up. R.I.P. Also, anyone else think it's kinda crazy that (before Rise of the Beasts) this is the only Transformers movie where we didn't see Megatron?
@@mrscruffles801 I mean- they can still show up in other continuities like the tv shows, games, or comics. Sorta like Lockdown jumping from Animated into the Bayverse!

I grew up with the Michael Bay Transformers. Because that was simply my only exposure to the franchise, as I wasn’t even born at the time where I could witness Transformers in the 80s. So to me, I was used to seeing the overly detail look of the robot designs for so long. And I admit, that was the part I found the most epic at times. Especially the animations that go with it. But, I personally loved The Bumblebee movie, despite some others thinking of it as average. Not only that they translated OG designs extremely well that even I recognize characters that I have heard from word of mouth. I was captured by how funny, wholesome and sweet the interactions between the main cast of human characters were, and how they interacted with Bee. But one scene that stuck with me, was one brief bit at the end when Bee has to leave. As he does with the view of Charlie in his rear view mirror, you can see the words on said mirror written something in the lines of “Objects in mirror appear closer than they are”. I wasn’t expecting this movie to be worldwide amazing. But it hits me much more than I expected.
It had some amount of gore, that I'm sure many are fine with, and that's okay. But it's a bit much for me being a g1 cartoon fan, so it staves off my liking of it.

I'll never forget what Travis Knight said as director of BB, "Ravage isn't a dog. He's a jaguar." He was the right director for the reboot. Can't wait for your video on ROTB.
@@FernandoMazzo175That is mostly the fault of the design itself. Since the film was aiming to capture the more original G1 designs, Ravage's G1 is admittedly very canine-like in appearance, but that is more of a limitation from the toy itself
Bumblebee (2018) was the light in the franchise’s darkest hour, where it showed everyone that yes, a good Transformers movie can exist. ✨ Edit: To imply the Bayverse movies were always top quality movies is historical revisionism.
Well, a live-action Transformers movie, anyway. We already saw a good Transformers movie back in 1986. And the animated one in 2013 wasn't too shabby, either.
@@occam7382 predacons rising was in 2013 and on it's own, it's less of a movie and more of a 1 hour special event that can split into 3 separate episodes. Meanwhile the 1986 film stands on it's own and doesn't 100% require you to watch s1 and s2 of g1 to understand it. Both are fine but one is definitely better than the other

Holy shit, calling ROTB "A Michael Bay film without Michael Bay" is such a revelatory statement. Because, goddamn, it is! That's such a succinct way of describing that movie, it's really blown my mind. Just take away Bay's explosions but leave everything else, and yeah, ROTB is probably close to the end result.
@@glory2cybertron Well, tbh Bay movies had very nice world building, lore and designs, it just needed better writing and less sex jokes. It’s always really confusing when studios say they brought in somebody completely unfamiliar with the source material to “get a new point of view”. Then the war hardened him, and he had to drop most of that. Now, him losing his memory is a little ehhhh anyway, but still.
Right! Also, in all TF iterations, Bumblebee is very young, as in one of, if not THE youngest autobot/cybertronian. Also some have him born during the war and some even have him as a child soldier. Without his memories Bumblebee is a very young adult at the oldest and possibly even a child. Edit: to clarify. I mean child as in teens.

@@ninyaninjabrifsanovichthes45 same, even though there was a 2022 cut of the movie, at least they kept elements from Bumblebee though Plus the movie was easy to follow also instead of getting distractions alot
Honestly my biggest thing with Bumblebee is that it felt like a coming of age and a found family movie. Charlie and Bumblebee felt so much more wholesome than a lot of the other films you mentioned that the film borrowed from. But that’s just me.
The reason I love bumblebee is it’s almost like a comfort movie, I enjoy because of its predictability and the nostalgia factor (for a time I wasn’t alive for)
I remember when the first ever teaser trailer for Bumblebee released. It was at a time where I had completely lost interest and joy for the franchise after watching The Last Knight. I was genuinly questioning my entire love for Transformers and had no interest in this Bumblebee spin-off. But when I saw that first teaser trailer, I knew something was different. This had heart. This had emotion. Genuine emotion. Seeing Bumblebee hide in the corner, hiding his face like a scared child and embracing Charlie's hand after being assured safety? That actually made me cry. Cause I never expected to see such emotion in a Transformers movie, especially not after The Last Knight. I love the first Transformers movie and I respect the impact it had on the franchise, but Bumblebee is everything that made people fall in love with the series. The characters and the emotions they share.
YEAH!! I had that same reaction when I saw it! At first I was like: "Sigh... let's see the trainwreck." *plays it* ....."oh........... *eyebrow perk* ....hold on! Something's different!" *analyses the scene, actually SEEING detail of emotion in Bee's eye's in that scene* "This is not Bay, this is someone with care!" All in all, I was actually interested. Sadly I missed a chance to see it in theaters, but I did see it on blu-ray physical copy, so close enough! And I loved it! I bought it when it came available.
I took my teenage daughter to see this film in the theatre, and she was screaming with excitement during the beginning as she is a huge G1 Transformers and 80's GI Joe fan.
One thing you didn’t mention in this video that should be brought up was the fact that Peter Cullen wasn’t originally supposed to return to voice Optimus in this movie and he eventually had to record over someone else doing a bad Prime impression so Paramount would save money.
Between that and Peter Cullen apparently being embarassed about a line of dialouge he was given in one of the Transformer films (I think it was Age of Extinction?), I wouldn't be surprised if he felt bitter to an extent about working with Paramount.
@@leithaziz2716the line wasnt just embarrassing, it was so out of character for Optimus and the complete opposite of the “be strong enough to be gentle” personality Peter’s brother told him to use back in ‘84. Luckily Peter did say he was treated a lot better for ROTB.
@@Harmonmj13 I agree, I enjoy bayverse optimus but more so as his own character. I get the whole concept of a war broken optimus (rotb did that better) but the bay films never had that concept in mind (as there's no official evidence behind the scenes that was an idea bay or any writer thought of) and they just by coincidence had optimus act right in the first film and just stopped caring about accuracy regarding his character as the sequels went onward. It's a personal interpretation that bayverse optimus was war broken but not a legitimate fact or purposeful idea the films wanted to do and even if they wanted to do such a idea, they didn't do it properly. Especially when not a single character bothered to acknowledge optimus's change in behavior or question his anger or logic at points. Meanwhile we get that in rotb and even in fan made bayverse projects. But unfortunately too many bayverse fans tend to forget the words of Peter's brother and the fact you don't commit war crimes if you are the "good guys". Even more ironic alot of bayverse fans are Americans and America is always portrayed as the heroic country in war films yet America committed war crimes in borderline nearly every war it was in.
although i will say a story being unique doesn't make it good automatically and i don't think 1 or 3 are better, if i gave points solely for unique ideas i'd think the star wars prequel trilogy was god's gift to cinema
This movie was the biggest breath of fresh air id experienced in a theatre. The opeing scene on cybertron is so perfect and I can fully enjoy every action scene and transformer design. It bums me out that it didn't perform nearly as well as the rest.
There are so many things I like about Bumblebee is 1) Bumblebee’s inspired maneuver by Jazz from G1 2) The choreography 3) Lack of shaky cam which is so good to see. 4) Creative death given to a good Decepticon Hearing Soundwave’s original voice and seeing all the original character designs with modern special effects-filled me with such nostalgia and joy. I love how Megatron isn't even truly shown in this movie, yet the Decepticon's presence is so strong that this movie didn't need Megatron to make them look like true villains. Shatter and Dropkick were amazing villains, They don't just snarl and growl constantly like demonic werewolves and act in a more human and relatable way. Love how their colors are differen, in bay movies, most of the Decepticons are black and gray. Expect a few. Dropkick is honestly adorable. The little things he says in the movie is just hilarious. The way he goes "huh what are you doing?" and "this is humiliating" when Shatter kneels to the humans. It's so much character. Despite him being a psychopath mass-murderer, it somehow makes him likeable. I love where Bumblebee kills Dropkick. Everytime I watch that, it makes me laugh. Travis Knight uses his knowledge of animation to truly capture the fight scenes with the Robots. Everything is fluent and connected. The Transformers actually use their transformations properly while fighting and do so in a satisfying way. Bumblebee vs Dropkick was a good fight for me. Goes to show that with the right Director, you can actually make something great. Sadly Bay seemed to lose that focus after the first movie. This is what I wanted from a Transformers movie all along. The Autobots and Decepticons actually look like themselves, with no unnecessary explosions and no hot girls. It’s perfect. Even if this movie is not perfect, I still enjoy it. It's sad that many movies I watched were 10-50 years ago. There are still go ones like the Mario movie in my opinion but not many.
Well it's not really his original voice as done by Frank Welker. It's actually Jon Bailey aka TheEpicVoiceGuy aka Honest Trailers narrator. He also voiced Shockwave in the film and was the temp voice for Optimus Prime's animations before they recorded Peter Cullen's voice and forced him to match Jon Bailey's Voice impression.
My favorite actual deception by the decepticons across all of the universes is from transformers prime: optimus loses his memory and asks why the bad guys are called “decepticons”, megatron says “to remind ourselves of the deception of the autobots.” I dunno, I just like that as an answer I guess.
I remember that scene as well but I had to look it up. Megatron specifically said to an amnesiac Orion Pax: "Another craven Autobot scare tactic. The name was meant to demonize us. Instead, we wear it as a badge of honor. For if speaking the truth is deception, then we are gladly guilty". Yeah, I like that answer too.
It was a tossup between watching Bumblebee and Into the Spider-Verse, but ultimately, I didn't regret seeing Bumblebee. It was exactly what the franchise needed when it needed it. Thank God.
Same here, I was meant to see Bumblebee for my birthday with my dad but my aunt offered to take me to another movie before that day and I thought "meh this one's not my top priority I'll have her take me to Spider-Verse" My dad never took me to see Bumblebee but hey at least I accidentally chose the more peak movie to watch imo
I was lucky to see both movies when it came out. Though I had to watch Bumblebee on a pirated website, while I watched Into the SpiderVerse in theaters as part of a Middle School Field Trip. And, I’m still happy I got to see these movies.

I saw this movie in theatres on release. I never really cared about the transformers movies previously but I had a ton of friends who did, and so we all went to see it together. I thought it was a fine movie but I'll always remembered just how much they loved it. It was everything they wanted the movie to be and I think that's really cool.

If Cody ever gets into the massive amount of Transformers TV shows (which I would NOT recommend, for the sake of the poor man's mental health), I have no doubt Transformers: Prime is gonna be near the top of the list.
I like all the directors that have touched Transformers a lot. You have Michael Bay’s bombastic, explosive style that definitely has style, even if overwhelming. Travis Knight’s approach was much more personal and intimate, a welcome addition. And I really like Steven Caple Jr.’s new way of taking on the series, it’s not perfect, but I love how focused his directing style is, moving the camera steadily throughout fight scenes and different moments to create a flow that I think works great for Transformers. Overall, I like them all, and I’m excited for what we’ll get next.
8:43 I know that it’s not canon to this verse but I really like how in TF:P, the term ‘Decepticon’ has began as an insult by the Autobots which later got adopted as a show of defiance and pride.

We were excited because we could both talk about what we don't like or liked about the hot garbage we were about to watch. Nope, we got our 30 seconds of actual Transformer stuff we'vebeen wanting, now we must suffer through more mundane human drama with the occasional robot fight.
3:26 THAT'S WHY I RECOGNIZE HIM! I met Travis Knight in 2009 shortly after the release of Coraline. The Vice President at Laika happened to be the stepdad of my film analysis teacher. We took a class trip to the studio in Portland, and Travis talked to us about developing Paranorman which was in the early phases of a screenplay. Wild.
I stand by this statement; this is the best transformers live action movie. I love the first and third films. But Bumblebee is so damn good. Such an underrated film
Having grown up with the bay films, part of me is kinda pleased, but also a little confused, that they kept the Bee look from the older movies despite how many others were changed to look closer to their G1 designs. Im guessing maybe since the film was in production when they decided to go G1 ish, they just didn't or couldn't change the design to be closer with the others, or maybe its probably so general audiences could recognize him more easily, even though they would've had a whole film to familiarize themselves with his appearance. Either way im honestly pleased with the design they went with.
I would love to see the timeline where both this movie and the Bay Bumblebee in WW2 film co existed! Actually insane how 2 Bumblebee films were in production at the same time and they couldn’t be more different!
12:30 Gods, Sentinel Prime getting war crimed by Bayformers's Optimus Warcrime will always remain darkly hilarious it seems. R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy. As far as _Bumblebee_ goes, this is the first video to make me interested in giving it a chance, so thanks.
3:58 For as short as this scene was, it just goes to show how little effort it takes to give us genuinely good stuff. And yes, I know about the line from Optimus in the 1st movie, but that was chosen by fans, not the filmmakers, so it doesn't count.
@@occam7382it didn't take them 3 movies to reference G1 though.

Or Optimus saying "It's just you and me Megatron!" from the very first G1 story?

As a die hard Transformers fan, I cannot put into perspective how much good Bumblebee did for the franchise in terms of perception. It brought a fresh take to the films and I absolutely adored any of the scenes with Shatter and Dropkick especially. Whilst I don’t think ROTB is as good as Bumblebee, they’re both still a nice change of pace from the slog that was the bayverse.
yeah bumblebee is better than RoTB but i still really enjoyed both... also both had likeable humans i didnt mind spending time with which was insane, considering the bay films
RoTB was just kinda wonky on execution in a few spots and had some obvious twists, but the villain and hero designs were good (and airazor done supremely dirty) and the action was solid enough. definitely a sign they're not totally sure what precisely to do with the transformers movies just yet tho

Also she’s really hot

Really? I was under the assumption that they had just met up in 1987. Transformers timelines can be confusing, man.

My dad and I were jumping in our seats like children omg just thinking about it is exciting
I'll say this: Shatter and Dropkick should be adapted into more things. They genuinely feel like they were bickering just out of frame for the last forty years and finally got to star in one of the films.
And then the two of them get blown up. R.I.P.

6 years later and I’m just now understanding that scene, wow…

It’s always really confusing when studios say they brought in somebody completely unfamiliar with the source material to “get a new point of view”. I had a random year in my early 30s where that happened. It was a little embarrassing, but I saved a lot of time.

At least Bay let Peter Cullen voice Optimus Prime...Sadly the tradeoff was rather interesting dialogue choices...."GIVE ME YOUR FACE!!!!", "URRUEGGA"

Loved the show though looking back it could have done somethings better, didn't help that it also was "supposed" to be after WFC and FoC which makes no sense...
Aligned continuity is a mess
I would be overjoyed if he reviewed at least season one of transformers prime!
If Cody ever gets into the massive amount of Transformers TV shows (which I would NOT recommend, for the sake of the poor man's mental health), I have no doubt Transformers: Prime is gonna be near the top of the list.
@@Venom3254 Guess you can say that the aligned continuity isn't very aligned.
Despite it’s flaws I love this movie. It makes me cry everytime and it’s genuinely my favorite movie.
8:43 I know that it’s not canon to this verse but I really like how in TF:P, the term ‘Decepticon’ has began as an insult by the Autobots which later got adopted as a show of defiance and pride.
I thought that was a lie to string Orion along in Megatron's plan
Because, didn't ratchet say in the episode where they were fighting Unicron that Megatron had soundwave gather his followers and dub them decepticons
@@Doyoueverwonderwhywerehere If you count the books, a lot of what Ratchet said feels really
biased. The reason for a lot of people joining Megatron was because they got tired being an oppresed slave cast.
I saw this movie in theaters with my brother. We thought we had the whole theater to ourselves because it was completely empty. We were excited because we could both talk about what we don't like or liked about the hot garbage we were about to watch. But when the pre credits started playing, one guy walked into the theater and sat down two rows ahead of us. That was the only way this movie became a let down because I certainly wasn't expecting it to be any good.
So what would you rate it? 7/10?
The difference between Bumblebee and the Bayverse is...Knight and day.
"Not the face, not the-" BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
Get out, get out now.
*Knight and Bay

Damn it!
11:17 This complaint is invalid. The inclusion of this unabashedly cheesy song can only ever be a good thing.
Seeing the Gen-1 Soundwave almost made me cry. Almost. I love Soundwave and his design so much.
2:46 the man we didn’t want but needed
To everyone who likes everything after Transformers 1
'At least it's not trying to be Michael Bay without Michael Bay' - I immediately knew what was coming and had a hearty chuckle when that poster showed up. I love Rise of the Beasts, but man, I cannot wait to hear what slander you have to throw against it. (edit fast. I'm starved for pointlesshub content. Great video as ever lol)
The opening scene was so amazing the rest of the movie felt a bit like...
Yes, it is nice but can we please get more of whatever was the opening scene?
Like the voice-acting was so spot on I had chills run down my spine when I heard Shockwave say "Destroy the launchpad, let none escape..."
Nope, we got our 30 seconds of actual Transformer stuff we'vebeen wanting, now we must suffer through more mundane human drama with the occasional robot fight.
@@mrscruffles801 Ah yes, for a moment I forgot it was directed by a person from Hollywood that thinks he knows what we want.
@@Germanica1871 Do we just can't have a movie about a robot conflict can we?
@@mrscruffles801 nah, seems like Hollywood only wants to push a woke agenda disguised as a mediocre movie.
Presumably, that's what Transformers One is going to be, if that movie ever gets finished.
I love the thought that decepticon scouts are triple changers, it makes so much sense for a scout! It’s awesome.
Wild.
Still my favorite Transformers movie 🙏

Only second to the ‘86 movie for me
I have never seen this movie I assumed it was more of the same bay movies and now I must watch it.

Man, Cena really has some good comedic chops. That one line had me laughing.
'Hey, we all have a stealing phase. Heck I stole some Jolly Ranchers when I was 12'
'Yeah we know'
Very underrated movue i would say. You can definitely feel that the people behind it created this movie with love ❤️.
I stand by this statement; this is the best transformers live action movie. I love the first and third films. But Bumblebee is so damn good. Such an underrated film
There three constants in life, death, taxes and Cody talking about Transformer movies (and also Rolland Emmerich movies).
It’s the circle of nostalgia
Circle of life
3:18 Bay seems to be pretty hands off as a producer, given he also technically brought us Black freaking Sails
Great video
However
3:31 “Laiaika” 💀
So glad that transferformer fights don't look like two mating junkyards anymore.
I’m surprised no one talks about this one as much, it’s really good and what people won out of a transformers movie
I would love to see the timeline where both this movie and the Bay Bumblebee in WW2 film co existed! Actually insane how 2 Bumblebee films were in production at the same time and they couldn’t be more different!
cody sounds like the type of guy to know everything about grass without ever having touched it
The character design was perfect 👌
Not the face lmaoooooo 2:51
But he's nothing but face. 😊
Omg am I glad that someone like Travis Knight who is ACTUALLY a fan of the franchise designed the characters!
I NEED the Bumblebee plushie at 8:20
12:30 Gods, Sentinel Prime getting war crimed by Bayformers's Optimus Warcrime will always remain darkly hilarious it seems. R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy.
As far as _Bumblebee_ goes, this is the first video to make me interested in giving it a chance, so thanks.
The positive reception to this movie has always caught me by surprise because I have fallen asleep trying to watch it multiple times.
3:58 For as short as this scene was, it just goes to show how little effort it takes to give us genuinely good stuff. Studios should take note; or at least ask what went right as if they were alien to the concept of genuine consumer satisfaction.
9:09 “NAY! IT WAS HERESY!!!”
I’m just kidding; I agree with you 100%. They’re the best Deceptions purely for being fleshed out, consistent, and simple. Love your continuous Halo fanning btw; you should cover all the games at some point, especially the Bungie/343 clash❤
It's almost like a little heart and decent writing is all we ask for?
We still need a 10 hour repeat of "God, I am sozzled"
I enjoyed this film. It was refreshing to see differences designs to not feeling like a Bay film. I love the designs to the Transformers and the story with Charlie and Bee was nice. Solid B+
The end of the video is so relatable, I went into rise of the beasts thinking it was going to be like bumblebee but with more action, "finally" I thought, "an Optimus Prime that isn't a blood thirsty murderer.."
"That was my kill" - Optimus Prime
Right? He literally shoves a sword in scourge's mouth and rips off his head, with his spine showing, it's just as bad as the fallen's death
The other two terrorcons got needlessly brutal deaths too, and they barely did anything
1:17 the Bay area
"Knowing" with Nicholas Cage. Can't wait for that video.
8:44 literally the best scene in the entire franchise
It feels strange to me that this movie was released 5 years ago. It feels like it was released a year before.
5 years, holy hell.
You mentioned short circuit. Major respect
Never realized how much I like your music choices in these videos
