So is Anthony Barone too. He is kind of the addition that you would think that he is ''too skilled'' for this genre, but it's still a really good fit, same with Jason.
was listening to a podcast that Phil was on a few nights ago and he mentioned that Oli was blown away by Jason and was constantly talking him up. According to Phil, Oli said that if something were ever to happen to him, he hoped that Jason would step in to take his place. He sounded genuinely grateful to not only get an amazing guitarist, but do so through pursuing his late friends wishes.
I love this. Divine was better but this was still a great song. Cool to see them brining back that nostalgic 2000's metalcore sound. Also Jason is such a great addition to ATR.
I was there live when you did this reaction but I had to watch it again because I REALLY value your reactions! I love All That Remains, I think this new direction with Jason Richardson and the new drummer was such a great spark they needed compared to their last couple albums.
If having Jason Richardson in your band is cheating then with Oli they were just straight up illegal. Loved the song, it warms my heart that ATR are coming back in strong form. I listened to ATR literally every day on my way to and from high school back in the day. Fall of Ideals is genuinely timeless.. it still sounds as good to me now as the first day I heard it. Can't wait to see where they go from here :D
@@ThatsAGoodB0yPhil mentioned on X that Draiman directly influenced the vocals on this track and he wanted to pay homage to his style, Draiman approved
Different from the first single at certain parts, but to me I could see that on the radio and it actually be received well cause of Phil's cleans. I definitely agree with the 8.2 score. Got to Our Hollow, Our Home new single Funeral Verse
So many critics out there. When bands put out new material, people complain cause it sounds the same stuff, but when bands put out something and they change a little bit, people still complain all they changed don't sound like old.shit 🤘🇺🇲🇺🇲🤘
I really miss Oli's (RIP) riffs and writing but I Jason is a good successor for lack of a better term. Would really have loved to see what the two of them could have done together. Phil's vocals do sound a lot better on these two tracks than on recent albums.
I expected let it go to be kind of radio hit at first just by the title. But I absolutely loved it!
Jason is such a great addition to ATR. Love it. 🤘

What strikes me about these two songs, besides the musicianship, is how great the songwriting is.
Both songs are hits! 🤘
Masterpieces. Absolutely right

Really? I think this was way heavier with better guitar work/lyrics. That’s what’s cool about music though everyone hears it differently 🤟

Drummer has worked with not just Shadow Of Intent but Beneath The Massacre and A Night In Texas

Rip
Adding Jason was perfect. Ladies and djentalmen, ATR has created...DJETALCORE
Discover Ur channel 2 months back....and u already changed me from metal to heavy metal sucker...now new bnd to playlist ❤️
I’m from Western Mass and always get psyched when any of our bands release stuff 🤘
eastern Ma here...the state of og metalcore
HUGE COME BACK. This two songs are the metal anthem of Summer 2024. So glad for the guys!!!! Fuck yes
The current sounds of ATR are a little bit of Djent. LOL
Phil sounded like a mix between David Drainman's cleans and Howard Jones' screams there. That song is catchy af though
Phil has been screaming like that since ATR came out
So we just gon' overlook that their drummer is Anthony "Forearms" Barone? Drummer for Beneath The Massacre? Dude is part machine.
dont forget that anthony barone from shadow of intent is the drummer now!
16 year old me would be stoked for this sound. 31 year old me is 100% here for said sound 🤘🏻
Edit: The combo of cleans and gutterals are perfect 😉
Metalcore disturbed!! I like this song
My exact thoughts😂 when those first vocals came in it was straight disturbed
@@ThatsAGoodB0yPhil mentioned on X that Draiman directly influenced the vocals on this track and he wanted to pay homage to his style, Draiman approved
The bridge in this track is one of the coolest bridges, that I've heard in years!
Anyone who thinks this sounds like Disturbed needs to go back and listen to Disturbed.
I don't think Phil sounds anything like David.....
People just being people😅😅 I don't think it sounds like disturbed but people have opinions
hits hard!!
I feel like I know the lead singer better as a podcaster on Timcast than i do from his actual band

This gave me heavy disturbed vibes and I ain’t mad at it
i can definitely hear it 100% which is not a bad thing at all
It legitimately sounds like Dave on the chorus.

Phil sounds amazing at 50.
They have a new Bass player I loved seeing chicks rock out let you go fire
This song kicks ass! I liked Divine but this is on another level for me!
Nobody giving love to the rhythm guitarist dam having to keep up with Jason an Barone beastly
My favorite album is for we are many, my favorite song is f*** love
Guitar solo straight out of A7X Nightmare era
It does sound very A7X inspired.
Jason is awesome.but Anthony Barone gets no credit...he is fuckin' killin it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not the song to fall asleep to. Great song.
Yeah, just too butt rock for me, but the heavy vocals and amazing instrumentation got it to a 7.2 in my book.
Disturbed and Five finger death punch haha
This is so much better than Divine, in my opinion. Easily their best song in a LONG time
Where is your GF
It sounds alright but there's nothing groundbreaking here.
It's a once through for me.
idk the second half of the breakdown is a strong breakdown of the year contender. everything else tho i agree
