love dq11 and eric, but i wish this game was its own thing with an entirely new cast
Can someone tell me if the deluxe edition goodies are worth it or exclusive? Or nothing special and you get the monster pretty fast?

I generally enjoy and appreciate reviews on this channel. One thing that I have noticed from time to time is how the reviewer (or reader) appears to be racing a clock. Is there a reason why these readers sound like they're in a rush? What's the hurry? Slow down, relax, take a few more minutes to read the dialogue. In my opinion it will make for a much more enjoyable listening experience for your audience.

This was a good review. Also I personally think the audio was perfectly fine, the music didn't feel overpowering over the narration at all for me.
Hard to be excited for this as much when DQ XI & DQB2 are so excellent, so I will likely pass until a deep sale, if I purchase at all. Think I'll save my next DQ adventure until DQ III 2D/HD launches sometime hopefully later next year. Now that one I will consider to be an absolute must buy! Additionally, Noisy Pixel is quickly becoming one of my favorite new review sites! Always a great watch! Thanks guys!

I'm too big if a Dragons Queat fan to not pick this up. It got a solid enough score for me to be excited for it.

I just picked it up at target. Last one. I’m a huge fan of dragon quest monsters and don’t have lots of time to play games so I feel this will feel my odd gaming niche perfectly.

Yeah I expected this game not to be that great ever since it was shown in that Nintendo direct. I already pre-ordered it because I do have some actual interest in it but mostly because I feel like I have an obligation to support DQ in the west since SE is being so picky about what game in the series they release outside Japan. If its not entertaining for too long, i'll probably drop it though.
I’m a bit confused: every review I’ve watched completely glosses over the combat and how it works, which makes me a tad concerned…

The music... I couldn't play DQ11 because of the main music that plays again and again and again and the music is usually iritating .
Thanks! But why do reviews often spend so much time to explain the background story? I don't find that to have much bearing on the decision to buy, and it's often known already, so I had to skip ahead. Also the music you added to the end of the video is quite annoying 😀

You don't just pass because it's a 7.5 if your a dragon quest fan it's a must have... especially for collecting

@@johnciano3524 while I agree with you. Nintendo prevents dq from spreading its wings. Hence dq Remaster 1 2 3, now dq treasures. If it was on steam I would bought it day 1 today.
For the record I own dqx offline via steam as dq is a good ip. But switch no thanks.

Don't understand why this is exclusive to NSW. Would have bought day 1 on PS5/4 to complete my DQ collection, DQ Heroes 1&2, DQ Builders 1&2, DQXI vanilla and definitive.
I'm waiting for it to come to Playstation also.
There's a deal between Nintendo and the developers right now. It may eventually come to playstation.

@@mmccord4166 Dragon Quest XI was originally a PlayStation exclusive. As were many of the older games (V and VIII for example).
It looks.... Almost good. Just feels like an early build or something. I dunno, don't think this is a purchase for me.

Ugh. Loved DQM. Why does SqEn think every turn-based game needs to be changed to some shallow spastic version of monster hunter’s combat?
I literally am unable to play any of these great dragon quest games because i just can't stand the music, makes me feel like am at a circus and clowns are evil.
Is this a mobile game? The frame-rate and graphics are telling me yes.
