  • Should you read the Bhagavad Gita as a religious book? That's one way to read India's timeless classic. But there are several other ways to enjoy a text that is the ultimate manifesto for individual, communal and environmental well-being. In this talk, Indian author Roopa Pai, whose award-winning contemporary retelling 'The Gita For Children' became 2015's runaway bestseller, teases out some of those ways. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx
