The money I’ve put into my 2wd slash I actually could’ve saved a ton of money if I would’ve just bought one of these,or I shouldn’t of sold the hpi blitz I got on a trade,sold it for $90 when I should’ve been building that one for the track instead of the slash,lol great review brotha! 👍👊👊📹📹
I see this thing coming back in a huge way. I turned mine into a Pro SC10.6.2. Amazing value with plenty of alternative component availability. (T6.1&6.2, B5, T5, T4) ultimate kit bash. VALUE!!!!! RTR!!!!! BEST FIRST TRUCK
What parts have you put on yours? Ive only managed a set of tires so far and found out where the front top plate screws are is probably the weakest point. Snapped the chassis right in two in a head on with a telephone pole.
The traction control is default at 4 out of the box. You have to turn it off manually. If you turn the car on and move the chassis side to side you will see the steering move automatically. It's pretty neat.
Its amazing i got one and i love it so much got lipos in it and it accelerates so fast that it leaves marks in the ground even on asphalt and the battery lasts for ove 30 minutes its just so good( its my first rc over 400€ ) it costs 400€ in finland but got one for 385
I made a brand name swap back to Traxxas, from Axial & T.A.. Depending upon how Traxxas prices their radio control fleet. I could just as easily go back to running Team Associated!!! ;)
Thanks for the review, I bought the Trophy Rat. What o-rings did you swap in? Also, the shock caps you mentioned aren't available anymore. Would the "JConcepts Fin Aluminum 12mm V2 Shock Cap" work instead? My car is driving great but I want to check all the items you pointed out here.
I ran the SC10.2FT up to 81MPH. I also cut the rug with the same Castle Creations SCT combo. Running some F.P.V. and I really miss it!!! Then Team Associated discontinued it, and I was bummed out!!! Now I'm thinking about what route to take.
Razor Rc - I am looking to purchase the Prosc10 after watching all your videos on it, but I need your help with this question: Is there way to decrease/limit the overall throttle on a Prosc10 (ie. You let a child or inexperienced person drive) via the XP120 controller or via ESC? I talked to Team Associate and Amain but I did not get a clear answer. Could you also explain how to adjust and the purpose of having both the D/R Throttle controls #1-6 and the Throttle trim in a controller. I understand how the D/R & stearing trim work together, but I have not found a video or forum that explains purpose or how or why D/R Throttle button is useful.
Good question! Dual-rate throttle will turn down the throttle AND brake. You can turn down the power by reducing the throttle dual-rate. I did that for my son in the ProSC10 muddy bashing video. Unfortunately it controls both throttle AND brake/reverse, so if you turn it to 50% throttle, you also end up with 50% brake. But it was good enough for my son to drive.

How’s the parts availability and where do you buy your parts? I have many Traxxas rigs and love the parts availability and worried if I buy a team associated rig that parts will be hard to find

Truth bro. I'm in Florida and in 105 degree heat index I can drive my truck for 30 to 40 mins bash with 5000ma 3s love my 2wd sc10

You don't see much videos on the pro sc10. I put up a couple of running videos. Actually just your video and mine. Love the truck.
It seems to be basically a modern 2wd Slash. I would love to know how it compares to your modded 2wd Slash.

Wesley Gadbois I’ve had my truck for about 2 years and I do like medium bashing and I’ve only broken one arm. Also this truck is insane on 3s LiPo 😄
Is the trophy rat body interchangeable? Can I put an trophy rat body on a sc10 and vice versa? Are the front body mounts the same location?

I'm glad I went with this one. I almost bought the sc10.3. I decided this was the better choice.

You mentioned the gear diff being dry. What did you put in there, and how much? The manual mentions to only put some grease.

Does the AE Sc10 rtr have low center of gravity for racing? ie is it the equiv of the traxxas lcg chassis?
