Finally, a video that explains how to measure continuity by using a multimeter. I have watched so many videos on determining continuity in a circuit, and it seems few if any explained how to do it the way you've explained here. Thank you.

THANK YOU! Watching your video has been the most informative four minutes I have ever spent. Am I a subscriber? I am now!

Far and away the best video I have watched on testing continuity. Thank you for a clear simple explanation. Excellent!

Sir, I have a deep fascination with eletricity and eletronics and your playlist is amazing. I am learning in minutes what it took hours to learn.
You explain in such a simple way that it is impossible not to understand. I suspect you may be an eletrical engineer for that knowledge you possess. Thank you for sharing it.

I agree completely , people seem to use to much jargain and do not get down to the point and put these things into lamen terms , this guy is a good teacher he understands that it's better to show an example instead of TRYIENG to explain it in words

Amazing tutorial. I was fed up (learning electrical/electronics) long ago but mistakenly watched this one (part 5 of this series) and subscribed after realizing i finished 1 to 14 in row. Make some on Arduino and Raspberry Pi series. And may be Artix 7 and complex ones too. You got great voice and flow of talk.

Since it will be annoying to write on every one of your videos. Thank you so much, you explain everything so simply and the visuals are so entertaining to watch even my baby likes watching.

HO MY! Don't throw that wire in the bin! Use it to solder to a project where you need a lead to test or connect to your Arduino from a PC Board! I do this all the time with those wire's work great in all sorts of projects, I have even soldered in a resistor to use as a pull up or pull down resistor in my arduino projects! I am sure you knew that, but just had to comment! Thanks a million, I have been directing electrons since I was 12, back in the early 1960's but it seems I do pick up a thing or two from each of them. I have it in my head that to stay relatively young, one must learn one new thing ever day, these videos are indeed keeping me a bit younger every time I watch.

Thanks for the good video information.
So when do the beeps come into play? Am I confusing OHMs and Continuity settings on the multimeter?

3:25 Not sure if it's 0L as "zero l", or OL as "open loop"

Open Loop... meaning not a "closed/complete" loop or circuit.

what if I want to do that continuity test with a 100 meters cable distance?

    • @jithinps8317
      @jithinps8317 6 ปีที่แล้ว

In electronics there is no cable with 100 meters long...the multimeter is just to measure the value or check the continuity between electronic components..

    Hi,
What is a OHM, in measurement?
Say a mile per hour we can all visualize that.
    But what’s a ohm?

Not sure if this post was added but I’m unsure of a couple of things with this tester.
1 what type of sensor does this unit use on the clamp
2 It appears unclear to me but will this tester test DC current/amps in the clamp for use with automotive 12 and 24v systems.

what I learned was that good continuity measured zero and no continuity also measured zero - that's no help

you failed to explain this... redo your video please... this is useless. Most of your audience is ignorant of electrical theory and will fail checking a fuse due to explanation or lack of.
