I was able to get my Asus RX6600 for €210, now the same Asus is €240, though you can get a Rx6600 for €215 from other brands, but the cheapest 3060 rn on Amazon is €315, so almost 47% more expensive than the cheapest AMD, the RTX 3060 from Asus is €340 (so I saved €130), it's really a no brainer for me! I'm building my gaming pc and my goal is to keep it under €800, but to get me a fairly fast gaming machine suitable for video editing/streaming and programming. AMD helped me a lot, and it's a truly beautiful card with great cooling performance, the reason I chose Asus. I'm also pairing it with an i3-13100F so the open world games will be even "snappier" than in this comparison. At the end of the day it is about what you love/want, if you don't mind spending €100 more, just go for a 3060, if you want to keep the expenses low 6600 is your card, it's also very gentle on power consumption so you won't need to upgrade your power supply if it's 500-600Watt
@99ak Well, i have to wait 7 or 10 years, because i bought the 3060 to use it for a long time. Maybe i'll buy the AMD version from 7 years in the future.
I just bought an RX 6600 and waiting. I think RTX 3060 slightly better with especially optimised games for Nvidia cards. But RX 6600 is way cheaper and its power consumption is less than RTX 3060. Also SAM is a thing if you have 3rd or more gen ryzen CPU and a motherboard which is compatible with. The cards perform similar and AMD is cheaper, so I bought AMD one. If Nvidia one was cheaper, I would be bought RTX 3060. By the way, you should upgrade your test system's CPU. There is some bottleneck over here especially with RX 6600. If you get the 1660 super it’s not going to be as good as the 6600 even with PCie 3 as a factor. The performance between 4.0 and 3.0 isn’t as large as you’d think it would be at this point in time. It’ll run an extra like 10-15 frames better on a 4.0 system but otherwise it’ll run just fine

Amazing. I'm so happy with my 6600!
Good choice!
I bought the RTX3060, because is the only one who have single Fan version.
My Case at that time was short.
if you do only gaming so amd will be much better
@99ak Well, i have to wait 7 or 10 years, because i bought the 3060 to use it for a long time.
Maybe i'll buy the AMD version from 7 years in the future.
@@silverdragon7626 oh i am waiting now 2 year since i buyed r5 5600g apu and still watching benchmark for good gpu😁
Anyways, thank you for the effort. Peace out...
Yes i have planned for upgrading my cpu to i9 10th but it will take some months.
@@GAMINGBENCH I also think this is weird. CPU usage is not so maxed out with RTX 3060 like RX 6600. Maybe something else caused it. Might be recording software or maybe msi afterburner bug? I will test it with Ryzen 5 3600 when its delivered.
@@GAMINGBENCH i think u shouldn't get the i9 10900k. Better with i7 12700f for better fps and have many cores. One more thing, most of the 10th gen imc cannot go beyond 4133mhz ram speed. 11th gen yes most of them can go 4400mhz

Bro I hv a Request can u give me the link Of which Radeon Rx 6600 u used in ur video I just wanna buy That One straight up
I have an R5 5500 processor in AAA and FPS games, PBO is on, CBP setting is off, maximum 3.6 Ghz, 10-20 watts 1.1 volts is used in games, temperature is 55-60 degrees, with CBP on it goes up to 4.2 GHz, 30 watts 1.3 volts works at 70-77 degrees, do you think this is normal?
no problem with my fps
my video card is an rx 6600.
fps fluctuates a lot in watch dogs 2, by the way, have you tried it, it drops from 150 fps to 40, low fps, which we call 99% fps, is almost 10, sometimes even gpu usage drops, is this related to watch dogs 2?
Thanks for the video
I m going to build a. Pc with rx6600
This video clears my mind
Good luck. (Btw I'm also building a pc with it which cpu are u gonna use. I really don't understand bottlenecking so I just don't accidentally want to get bottle necked)
@@Mr.Lavendox bottleneck is when ur cpu is weaker than the gpu so it doesn't give u the whole performance of your gpu . Type bottleneck calculator on google and klick the first link put ur cpu and gpu if the percentage is more than 20% the cpu is bad for ur gpu
Put that PC in a proper case with fans and some airflow and also upgrade CPU!
Good benchmark and effort bro but you missed one important parameter that is Power Consumption in Watts, you should include that too.
check the pinned comment and watch latest the comparison... i have added pwr consumption too...
Thanks :)
I don't understand why from where i live the RX 6600 8GB is more expensive than the RTX 3060 12GB, and the XT variant is the same price of a RTX 3070.
Wow rx 6600 was weak for rtx 3060 but now i see AMD increased rx 6600's driver performance! Nice price for rx 6600...
Did you have Smart Access Memory on or off?
should I order rx6600 with r5 3600, instead of r5 3600 and rtx3060? Will I have performance near performance on video?
Yes
@kevinyoliveira68 I got a reply so fucking in time, I've already bought 3060🙂↕️
They trade blows with each other but for the Rx 6600 being over 100 dollars cheaper it's a pretty good option
Hello community query. I have a ryzen 5 3600, with an Asus prime X570 motherboard, aerocool 700w 80 plus bronze source, viper blackout 3600 memory, LG 24″ 24MP60G monitor and a gigabyte radeon rx6600 eagle graphics card. Which upgrade do you recommend for the processor to the maximum version supported by the board's chipset or upgrade the board and processor to the 7000 series?
5800x3d or 5900xt 5950
Sometimes RX6600 passes the RTX3060. Its really incredible. Imagine you did overclock to your RX6600, it might better much!
Overclock(killing your GPU lifetime)
@@user-qk5cn6mk8kyou gonna keep your gpu for 10 years? Lmao
Wow dude, these amd driver updates are amazing
bro it's normal if you're hitting such bad fps for they're actual price to performance, pairing it with an i3-10100 is criminal, I would atleast consider getting an i5-11400F for those two
the thing to note is that rx 6600 has almost constantly higher 1% lows meaning smoother fps
Ok nice Benchmark but why 1440p? In forza
Got the Rx 6600 for 186 dollars in April. Can't beat the price for such performance !!
Grand opening at microcenter yesterday has an RX 6600 for $120. I might just have to pick one up.
How many fps does rx6600 give approximately on mid/low settings?
Is the rtx 3060 overclocked? The m clock boost is aorund 1400, not 7400
Terrible way of doing benchmarks by randomly switching between 1080p and 1440p, even if it's both cards.
Makes it really confusing to gauge performance.
Maybe put 1080p games first and THEN 1440p.
can you compare this rx 6700 vs rtx 3060 including raytracing and dlss/fsr pls
no one has done this kind of benchmark with these 3 cards on youtube
how many watts of power supply is needed to run the rx 6600 and i3 10100?
550
@@opiumbabyp2p thanks, appreciate it 👍🏻🙌🏻
Did You use Dlss?? And Ray tracing??
Nobody uses that in these graphic cards
what recorder do you use ???
wow the rtx 3060 just looks so much better even when the FPS are about the same
@rwvry but software is better, has dlss and rtx works better on 3060
@rwvry thx for the information bro, my info wasn't fully updated since I've been busy with university and work, anyways, getting new knowledge about it is always good, and I'm glad amd is working in a good way with their software since that was their worst point, again, thx for the info and have a good day/night

Yeah like 5
After watching your video ive decided to go with rx6600. Because in my country rx6600 costs 28k while rtx3060 costs 44k
with an i5-8400 would the results be praticly the same with the rx6600?
probably a chunk better, this video they are using an i3
in my country the rx 6600 is half the price of the rtx 3060.. as a gamer, the choice is super obvious: rx 6600

From my little 1650 point of view, i am amazed by RX 6000! I have always seen AMD cards as hotter ones, but here i see 7-10 degrees less temp, 75 euros less and almost the same performances! Way to go Amd! ♡ Oh, and I am waiting for my very first Ryzen (5 5500), too ^_^
I recently got the Ryzen 5500, excellent processor for its price. RX6600 is excellent gpu and once my current gpu dies (bought used 1660S) i'll buy it.
No one should buy nvidia after what they've done to the gaming community. Support the competition for a better more healthy market in the long run.
Does anyone know which motherboard should I get with this cpu and gpu which is comptible with 1980x1080 monitor 140hz
the colours look nicer on nvidias cards.
i3-10100?
As someone who lives in a humid and hot temp all year round, the higher temp on the 3060 is a turnoff, would definitely go for rx 6600
Asus Rx 6600 ❤ love
buy 3060 if you need free heater
buy 6600 if you want to save the planet
what kind of cooling do you have on the processor that it heats up to 80 degrees?
And on an i3, this video isn't that accurate imo, both of these cards are being bottlenecked and his 3060 is literally at 85 degrees. And the 6600 is also quite a bit hotter than usual from what I have observed.
Непонятно, почему на 6600 тени зеленью отдают? Это видеокарта так картинку портит или программный захват видео настроен некорректно?

What to buy nowdays looks at rx6600 or gtx1660 super? have only pci-e 3.0 now (ryzen5 2600)... rx6600 will better even in pci e 3.0 than gtx1660super?
6600 is much better even pci 3.0
If you get the 1660 super it’s not going to be as good as the 6600 even with PCie 3 as a factor. The performance between 4.0 and 3.0 isn’t as large as you’d think it would be at this point in time. It’ll run an extra like 10-15 frames better on a 4.0 system but otherwise it’ll run just fine
go straight RX 6600 no gains on GTX 1660
With just a tiny amount of more fps, rtx 3060 gets extremely hotter and its way more expensive
Почему у 6600 такая температура высокая? У меня 62 максимум, разогнана?
what i should buy : XFX RX 6600 8GB or EVGA RTX 2060 SC GAMING 6GB ?

Yes, what is 50-70 FPS in the GTA 5 scene with an airplane on RTX 3060 in 1080p, the video card resets frequencies due to overheating in almost all the games that you tested in dl2 loaded at 90%, something is wrong with this 3060 and even the i3 processor, your stand is definitely not for testing video cards

After watching this, I have no reason to buy an RTX 3060 over the RX 6600
for gaming rx 6600 best budget but if you ever interested in rendaring or productivity stuff then rtx 3060...
I like how you used a 10th gen i3
Fair comparison
In 2023 I Recommend Rtx 3060 reason dlss ray tracing more ram = good rendering .
I had one doubt in india both rtx3060 12gb and rx6600 eagle 8gb are in same price RS.26000 ($313) what can i choose?
I have i5 9400f ram 16 and power supply 600w thermaltake I will upgrade to rtx 3060 12gb egale will 600w be enough and is that good brand for it
Can I use a ryzen 7 5600 w this
Yes
Remember this is with i3 not i5 or ryzen 5 so you get more fps rx6600 8gb is higly recommend similar fps with 3060 12gb rx6600 costs around 225 dollars where i live
You guys think is feasible to buy 8gb vram gpu these days?
i can get an rx 6600 NEW with 1 year guaranty for 250$ OR get an rtx 3060 second hand for 300$.
which one should i get?
If you want a longer lasting graphics card id say get the 3060 since it has better rt cores for better ray tracing and more v ram so I guess more future-proof.
can u test with NVDIA DLSS on?
Which looks more realistic??? Rtx or Rx ?
Is something strange here. Vram usage is always too low.
