I know I'm going to sound like a troll, but cut your stumps lower and they won't present so much of an obstacle. I was in the timber harvesting business for years. Spent my first 2 or 3 with a Farmi on a 2 wheel drive Massey. Never had to worry about" threading a needle" because the timber rode over the near flush stumps. Also, judging by the view of the stumps from above, a felling class might be a help.

Thanks Daniel, There’s three reasons why I leave the stumps so high 1. Some of the stumps I’m going remove with the excavator and it gives me a little more leverage 2. They will be used as bumper stumps to protect the small maples as I pull more wood out. 3. The Ruffed grouse will use them as drumming stumps.
I guess one of the main reasons in my early videos is that I had shoulder surgery and it was difficult to get down low enough to even get a correct cut at all. I too was in the timber industry for some time and attended many forestry seminars if this was a customers wood lot I would certainly be doing things much differently. I do appreciate the input… you can critique all you want! Thanks
