Going to build a DIY Version of that machine.
For anyone thinking about a new wood burning stove. I rented a house that had a older soap stone stove. The one I had didn't have a glass front like this and may have been smaller. However it kept a 1100 square foot house comfortably warm at 80 degrees f during a 13 degrees week in the mountains of Western NC when I lived there. 2 logs every 4 to 6 hours and only used 1/3 of a cord of wood over 5 months because it just stayed so warm while burning so slow. I let it burn out the first night when it was 15 degrees. I woke up to 70 inside the house. Yes I know that sounds hot but it was a dry warm and was actually very comfortable.
Some have reverse I say for h8nting n hauling your deer or ice fising
@@jdram58 it would be great for ice fishing
No reverse, top heavy, need to be a young person to use.
Is that from a lawnmower?
Always hate the first few snows until the ground freezes up.
I got 5.7 tundra thinking about 7 by 14 dump trailer ? Weighs 4k ibs empty.
Not a snow storm that’s nothing compared to North Dakota winters
It was just enough to see how the new truck would handle in the snow. Since then, we’ve had some 20 inch snowstorms and the truck did fine. out west where you have to chain up I don’t see any difficulty with the new tundra getting around.
I am buying a stove next week and probably going with the Castleton. I own a modular ranch in the Catskills in nys. Do you think this stove will be enough to heat my house??? I heat currently with oil, but with the price of fuel, i want to save money and use a wood stove some weeks.
@@miller566 i found the Castleton didn’t bank up well at night ( fire box was way too small) I would definitely go with the Heritage! We have a friend that has one in a small camp and it does great!
Always measure from the base for a legit measurement.
I will typically take the measurement from the hood of my truck or the deck that had been cleaned off prior to the storm!
How long burn time
@@jackfrosty79ify if you bank it up at midnight you will have coals at 6am. This is not a high-efficiency stove. It is a very unique stove and it will warm up space very quickly. If you want efficiency by a Hearthstone or a blaze king .
Worse than the adv riders with their gravel highways 😂
This is the reason I live in the Deep South lol.
I❤JD 😊
Was faced with the same issue working alone and made a lifting bar for the box wedge. Made a video removing and replacing the wedge a couple of times. If you get a chance, let me know what you think.
Nice splitter. Good tip on locking in the wedge.
I’m picking up my Ultra this weekend! Great splitters!
Just found your channel. Looks like we have a lot in common 👍
Sorry that I haven’t posted much in the last year but between camera issues and time it just hasn’t worked out. I am going to build a barn this summer and plan to do a couple videos on it.
I traded up to a Leer XQ
Nice!
Put it on market place. Someone will want it.
Nice truck!
You live in a beautiful area. I’d love to see Vermont in person sometime.
I enjoy this type of video. Thank you for sharing
Got to love a heated cab. I still think that JD would look good with a blower on the front. 😉
Plow on the front and a pull type blower on the back!😁😎
Whats the rear bed camera visibility with this cap?
It’s good
@mapletreehomestead3437 thank you. I've been hesitating to buy one for my tundra bc I wasn't sure it it'll block the rear bed cam.
Nice video. Thank you.
When the snow is deep I push down on the handle bars It gives it more stability
You wont regret that decision, it's a great stove. I noticed the extended wood burning box below, this is a game changer. Overnight burns are easy with this. Enjoy your new addition! We upgraded the towel rail end pieces to chrome to match the rail. I found the paint kept wearing off.
This stove has proven to be far more efficient than any other stove that I’ve had in the past and it draws like no other when it’s opened up! This stove has definitely proven that you get what you pay for!!
Lola like the plow works fi
Plow blade sure beats a snow blower. If for nothing else, less mechanical things to break and a lot less snow packed in the system to melt/freeze/ice-up. I have a 7' western plow on my 4300 (no cab) and built a wing plow for it when I need to shove the windrow of snow further back into the ditch to make room for the next snow storm. Thanks for no music, just the sound of the plow and tractor. Nice to have the cab.
Beautiful looking truck with the shell!
Really doesnt matter who you are, we all love the baby tractors...long live the legendary 650, 750 all balls tractors
Nice 👍 the plow would suit me fine ! Nice Tractor as well!
I just bought one of that exact same Elm Today from Nick!
I have an open station 2025r with the manually angling 60 in version of the unit you're using. Works pretty good - I need to add the 3rd function and make the blade angle hydraulically. A cab would be nice too - it stinks plowing in minus 18 F windchill.
Anywhere in NewEngland you can expect bad weather anytime. The difference is most states pave most of their roads and Vermont does not! Hence the saying mud season. I say grapples in Vermont are good but because of the hills winches are more usefully. Your land is not typical!!! Most guys that watch your utube have never spent time in Vermont. Be careful out there every tree is trying to kill you. You must do plenty of regens judging by the rpm’s your running your tractor.
Love the comments, I do run at PTO speeds most of the time but when I’m recording the sound at editing became more of a challenge than I wanted to deal with. I haven’t been doing videos this year due to camera issues and time spent doing it but I’m back in the woods trying to get the fur before it starts dying on me and making a mess in the woods. I do have a one tank rule (one tank of gas through the chainsaw, and I find something else to do) and I have a friend that comes over when I have snags to deal with at age 60 I’m not delusional about my limitations.
@@mapletreehomestead3437 I’m 75 and have a 1/2 tank rule. No delusions here either.
What brand chains are these? I have a 3046r as well, but it’s an open station tractor so I don’t have the same fuel tank issue. However, I don’t have spacers. I’m looking at the Aquiline MPC chains.
Quite honestly I don’t remember, I do remember asking for the tightest bar chain that they had do to the space available.
A suggestion. When making your next few vids, write an Outline and Rehearse the vid 1/2 times. You spent so much time collecting your thoughts in this vid it was tedious - and painful.
I shutter. Accident waiting to happen. Not rocket science, no disrespect
how much does it cost to have same Cap like this. Thank you for reply sir
I paid $2300
Do you have the bed cargo bed rails ans if so how do caps secure to it?
I’ll snap a pic of how it’s attached when I get a chance
What kind of Timberwolf processor is that?
ProHD
How much you pay?
$2300.00
where do you live? like state and or country? beautiful there.
Vermont
can we get an update on the mower?
Does it tow nice down the road?
I had it unloaded at one of my friends businesses and it towed home fine at 50 MPH
I love a good unboxing video!
🤣😎
Hey Rob glad you received the beast 12-22 the wedges are made like a tank for sure, I use a lift in my garage to take mine out also use my tractor with the forks also keep up the good work
What's that lever doing way down there?
Exactly!!! That’s just one of the many things that drives me crazy on what is supposed to be one of the best tractors made!
You will absolutely love it 👍👍🪵🪵
The hat or the splitter?😁
