Can the keg be blown up by the traps on Sailor’s Bounty? I remember at some point Rare changed something about the keg but I don’t remember what exactly was changed.
I’m trying to grind for golden curse I’ve only done shroudbreaker, cursed rouge and stars of a thief but thanks to u I now know what to do for the rest of the tall tales!
Followed the video was extremely helpful then in the vault with the crystal in my hand the gunpowder barrel killed me and now got to do it all over again. The grind continues
quick tip: after you get the 1st horde of skeletons chasing after you, run back behind the spikes you can stay put after the 1st spike trap and wait-- when you got the lair skele, just cutlass him
Do you mean hide behind the spikes in the tunnel that leads to the lair? Do you just stay there until the spikes kill the skellies who come after you? That would need genius if it works.

I tried to go with your plan of bringing a keg barrel to blow him up.... it blew up early due to a skeleton minion hitting it just after lit and dropped it at the captains feet...... now i'm locked out of the vault and have to start completely over.... When I was waiting on the spike traps to stop so I could pass, I shit you not a keg skeleton comes walking down the corridor and I couldn’t do anything so I died and the tale failed
I need help. I finished the tale and gave the stone to salty but when I went to start the fate of the Morningstar tall tale, it didnt work because it said “Tale Locked”
so theoretically, if every one of these vids are under 10 minutes, it would take about an hour to do all 5 of each tall tale, which would only take around 9 hours, if you use the video that is
I won’t do so as I’m not a you tuber and I also don’t plan to make tutorial guide based videos which are inadequate like these. For future reference if your going to do more of these or if your going to update them at least put more effort in other than explaining it and copying some pictures you found on a website. Instead you could actually do all of the possible ways to go about the quest so it’s way easier as it’s a guide.

Yeah it can, that's why the island starts exploding,, burying the gunpowder was another trap from the Trickster, you have to be fast!

Me and a friend died after over ten waves of skeletons. They wouldn't stop coming after we ran out of food and had emptied all barrels in the area.
i just spent 2 hours doing this got to the skeleton barrel and the totem didnt drop
I got to the volt and the gem didn't spawn. I want to cry

For the telescope + riddle part. You usually dont even need to use it. Just find the pictures and dig in-between few meters away from the picture.

How many waves are there when you place the keg? I used the traps to kill them but they seem to keep spawning and coming back up the hill.
10 waves
I used a different tactic while battling skeletons, I lead them to the spikes and let the spikes kill them for me, highly recommended
Me: takes keg into final vault
Also me: gets instantly shot and blown to smitherines and the tall tale ends
This happened to me too and I don't know what to do now

Use the traps on the side, lure the skeletons into a group and use your sword to hit combos on the skeletons at the same time.
