- Found this in my vhs vault and the audio seems to be better than currently on TH-cam, so enjoy, and hope TH-cam can allow it to remain up permanently.
Keep your eyes peeled for more Style Council stuff, because I have quite a bit, all the same quality transfer.
Cheers for buying Panasonic back in '81, Dad, because all the old tapes still play brill..! - เพลง
A real jewel, distant times of my youth in which living was a joy and every moment deserved to be lived to the fullest; I spent sleepless nights listening to these sounds and fantasizing about a peaceful and happy future. 😷
Thanks for putting this up. I still have my VHS copy but isn't anywhere near this quality (Recorded on Dad's Ferguson 3V29)
Yeah, my dad bought the top of the range Panasonic (Xmas 81, and it had an infra red remote!!!), £799! It ran without breaking down till I replaced it with an S-VHS in 96.
Thanks for sharing! Cafe Bleu is one of my favorite albums.
Sorry but I only just realised that when my buddy transferred the tape he accidentally cut it off during Headstart to Happiness. :( Unfortunately I no longer have the tape as this was put onto dvd in 2003, and banging my dvds on TH-cam before they deteriorate was the main aim here.
that is not Dee C Lee on backing vocals! who is this lovely girl?
She is probably a session singer.
Her name is Jaye Ella-Ruth (formerly Jaye Williamson).
no disrespect to her but dee c lee voice was another level....................
@@eamonnquigley2125 She was appointed before Dee joined, to sing on the early live shows. I wasn’t comparing Dee and Jaye, they both have fine voices, just pointing out who the personnel was.
@@prestidigitation2301 thanks for reply ........ yes both fine singers but as a fan of the council was always used of seeing dee c lee with the band her work on the confessions of a pop group where brilliant.............................
